Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Week 11/3 - 17/3

Over all it was a hell of a ride, but a good one. My first grow ever learned so much and still learning. Started with 4 plants ended with 3. One of them was mutated or something during veg so decided to pull. This strain grew strong and thrived the whole time. I learned a lot about ph and air flow and VPD still learning and trying to find that sweet spot! I loved getting to know these girls it’s crazy how plants talk to you! Also watching these girls flower and bloom! Into some sweet sticky dank yummy nuggs was amazing such a good feeling! Emm Over all I’m happy with 3 oz ready to keep on growing more and learn to get a better yeild! Super thankful and happy growing

Yo yo yo what's poppin It's day 2 in week 7 some more pics incoming this week Triple G and Wedding Gelato is fire. North Thunderfuck has the most weight and doing also great Hulk Berry is a sativa and will need a little bit longer. It smells already gasoline diesel berry like. The smell of Triple G is the best I've ever smelled. It's so fruity and has trichomes everywhere Day 46 today and I started feeding water only. I guess 14 to 16 days and they are ready to harvest. All plants do really good. Day 49 every plant got flushed today. 30 Liter clear water for every plant.

July 13: first heat wave of the year was last week, and there is another forecast for next week, but for now this is pretty ideal cannabis weather. Added a third Scrog layer and tied it off to some weights (partly filled water bottles) to open up the canopy further. Works, simple, and easy to move around the yard as needed. I really like this plant and how it’s going so far. July 14: re-scrogged again to widen the canopy further. Supercropped the ends to maintain the same elevation at the various growth tips. Four stems in middle were topped to keep them from getting ahead of the others. Experimenting to see how it goes. July 16: hot again. Increased water volume and sometimes misting air with garden hose water for the evaporative cooling. She looks great. July 17: another 32 C day. Watered four times today so likely 7-8 L in the heat with the growing plant. July 18: hot again. Mixed Power Bloom and malted Barley with some soil and added as a top dressing.Hit 34 C and 20% relative humidity which is far too hot and dry for cannabis. Lots of watering, and misting of leaves and air to provide some moisture and cooler temperatures.

Harvest time for the gorilla glue. Very nice solid buds. sMellsnstrong but only when you smell the bud... tryed wet trimming half and drying and trimming the next half to see results Gorilla bombs doing well tris are still mostly clear. Couple Amber and few cloudy. She smells so strong. She super sticky. Put the cool tube in today to get her closer to the light. Can switch the ballast up to 600 in cooler days . Will doing a auto run next. Probably under 2 400 . Thinking about ; 3 or 4 Blks. Auto chemdawg 3 feminised seed auto blue treacle 1 fast buds stardawg 2 sensi seeds auto early skunk Never had any merging good come from fast buds. I find there buds are very airy and foxtail like structure but iv only grown a hand full but maybe the stardawg will be different Thinking about starting the flush got the g bomb in a round 3-4 days. Let her go another 2-3 weeks. I have heard a few times that MH lights in the last week of flower increases trihcome production? Had anybody had any experience with this?

🇺🇲 Week 6 --------------------- The Zamnesia Green Goblin is doing really well – it's growing and thriving. It responded perfectly to topping, and the LST training is working great too. It's becoming really bushy and is now starting to release the excess nitrogen, turning a lighter green. One branch broke on one of the plants, so I decided to cut the other branch as well to ensure it grows evenly. The next step will be to start defoliating the plant appropriately. 🇩🇪 Woche 6 --------------------- Die Zamnesia Green Goblin macht sich richtig gut – sie wächst und gedeiht. Sie hat das Topping super vertragen, und auch das LST-Training funktioniert einwandfrei. Sie wird richtig buschig und beginnt nun, den überschüssigen Stickstoff abzubauen, wodurch sie bereits heller grün wird. Bei einer Pflanze ist ein Trieb abgebrochen, weshalb ich mich entschieden habe, den anderen Trieb ebenfalls zu schneiden, damit sie gleichmäßig weiterwächst. Als nächster Schritt werde ich beginnen, die Pflanze angemessen zu entlauben.

Did defoliation on all three never done it before not sure did k over do it but they needed the trim I had a lot of fan leaves blocking bud sights Jan23 started to use the self watering pots from acinfinity gallon in each pot with fish shit

Stretch is in full swing. Yellowing of bottom leaves so increasing nutrients all the way around. Other than that top portion of plant is healthy and green full of growth

Last daaaays 😍😍 Im trying not to rush the flush and I rather wait a few more days to bring this ec right down. Still looking pretty healthy but the first one look on the end of the cycle. Main crown got damn last week on plant with lil to no training done to it...leave are also a bit yellow going to straighten it out this week

4/5 Plants are looking good and putting on some weight. Swell has been nice and stank is getting loud. Kloombloom has been used every other day and I'll run some flower girl in a few days for the last time. Trichs are busting out fierce on tricross strain and skunk is building weight and making trichs at a lower level but trichomes they are. I hope this skunk seed produces some better bud as in THC strength. Last batch grown was imo 10-12% and fine for anyone but me apparently. 4/9 All 3 plants are stacking weight but it's not as fat as 2wks ago. Lower larf on tricross is adding density and weight. Those popcorn buds from last grow with tricross was fire. Introduced some dynagrow 3-12-6 to try another nute for a restack of potassium and carbs for possible growth of buds some more. I figured I will let this grow go another 2 weeks to add some potency to the tricross strain. As far as the skunk being grown with them. She will be cut at same time and frozen for my bubble run with all this dry trim to add some fresh terps. 4/11 Plants looking good and ready for flush time. Decided to start light flush today and plan is to cut by friday. Trichs are at 20% now with tricross and skunk I could give 2 shits about. Skunk will be cut and frozen for bubble run with all the trim from this grow and others.

Tag 31 wird der letzte Tag der Wachstumsphase. Danach beginnt die Blütephase mit einem relativ einheitlichen „Dach“ aus Trieben. Nur durch das Scrog Netz wäre es nicht möglich gewesen. Die frühen Seitentriebe wurden durch Drähte in die Breite gezogen.
