Week 7. Did nothing besides putting nutrients und water in the system. Spreaded the plants every 2 days to fill the space. Week 8 will start with 42h of darkness and flip to 12/12 afterwards. From now on I will turn off the far red during lights on period. The canopy is filled so it’s now just beneficial for putting them to sleep or waking them up. Using far red in the early flower time could cause a unwanted stretch. In mid-late flower I am going to use it for the Emerson effect. When most are cloudy with a few amber heads starting to appear, the flowers are at their peak — full potency and rich aroma. Clear trichomes mean “not yet,” while too many ambers mean the effect will lean heavier and more sedative. 🧡 Pistils Watch the hairs. Early in flower they stand white and proud, but as harvest nears they curl in and darken to orange or brown. When roughly 70–90% have changed color, the plant is signalling readiness. 🍃 Leaf Fade As you feed only water, the large fan leaves begin to pale, pulling the last stored nutrients into the buds. This week I had to fight against a rapidly dropping pH value. Starting at 5.8 on Monday, it soon dropped to 5.4 on Thursday. Yes, I calibrated my pH meter and that's when I added some baking soda. That stuff works really well for my with regards to raising the pH value. Two teaspoon handles and it shot back to 6.2. I thinned my additional nutrient solution with the half volume of RO water to keep the EC down. 1.8 seems to be too much for this beauty but around 1.7 looks spot on.

Still waiting on cure to weigh, prob a few more days first 2 plants gave 5.836oz dry

Well it's day 77 one looks ready and one looks like it could go a week or two but I dry in the same tent so if one goes down they both go down not sure what to do yet. But this will probably be the last post before harvest gonna give them a couple mare days I think. I got fast buds apple strudel seeds I'll be getting started as soon as this is done.

What do you think about these first days? The humidity is not much stable but I’m planning to buy a humidifier in the next week.

3rd time trying to write this diary entry and maybe if grow diaries feels like it you will be able to read this entry... [rant over] What a great week all 3 skywalkers are growing well, a lot of pistils and the first trichomes are already popping out. No sign of stress after pulling the ScrOG at the start of the week. I kept an eye for hermies and no sign of it. To the nutrients Plagron's Green Sensation and Power Buds have been added, I keep it at 1ml/L as recommended. The past week I fed 3times with nutrients and in between about 1L Water/plant.

this strain is amazing!! I loved growing it, despite very slow growth and very small internodal spaces, it is very resistant to stress and topping!! it revealed itself in flowering with pretty compact buds, a smell of bugs (yes, bugs!!), with strong notes of grapefruit, gasoline... no waste in the taste!! I recommend, I will grow it again

-I’m going to check tomorrow, March 2, to see if the seeds have popped. I’ll take pictures then. -It’s March 6th and the seedlings are looking happy. I’m hand watering them with filtered water. I’ll make a tea and start adding some benies the next time I water them, hopefully. I want to add my go pro and stream live.

Things are started to get some size to the buds. I upped the nutes PPM this week to 1050. The durban clearly has awhile longer to go while the green crack looks like it might be done sooner then later. I'm debating giving green crack it's first overdrive feeding next week.. we will see how the buds are looking then.. I used to feed a week earlier then I should have so I'm trying not to get too ancy with it yet. Both look great.. some slight light burn so the light went from 100% to 80%... just put up to 90% to see how it reacts.. if any issue I'll go back to 80%.. that might be the most it can handle at 18 inches at this point. Gave a heavy defoliation to both plants tonight after nutrient freeding. I defoliated more of the top leaves to expose more bud sites. Then I defoliated the bottom buds sites that I know won't amount to anything and the twig branches coming from the bottom that don't get any light neither. Took 3 hours to get it all accomplished.. forgot to take before and after pics but both plants were monsters.. not much light could really get thru the top canopy Now light gets thru the entire plant so the lower buds are exposed to light and better air flow for sure. My final defoliation will be 1.5 weeks before harvest.. pretty much at the point I start to consider beginning my flush. That way it will fatten up the buds and help finish the buds that haven't been getting much light. Excited to see the final results.. this my first time really doing a heavy defoliation throughout a plants entire life cycle. It defintely helps final yield if done correctly from what I've seen. I figured I'd give it a try and see how it goes.. so far I'm satisfied with the results.
