12-16-2024 - Plants continue to do well. Found some rust spots on several of the leaves for the Granite Runtz...could be a bit of over-feeding as I top dressed recently despite being on Grow Dots...not too worried about it though. These guys are drinking like crazy so there is plenty of time between feedings where they're getting a little flush action. I'm going to guess that we're about 3-5 weeks out from chopping these down and I'm impressed with their size so far. Now I'm really just waiting for the buds to continue developing and see what kind of size we can put on these gals. This grow has gone unbelievably well and I feel like I have the tent dialed in pretty good. More to come! 12-17-2024 - Well this morning the girls got a bath in Recharge and Sweet Berry. They were very thirsty! The nuggs on these plants are getting massive and I'm expecting to see branches start to struggle to carry the load. At this point I'd say they're probably 3-4 weeks out from chop...but that is a very loose estimate. I'll keep a close eye on them as we go. Having so much fun watching these girls grow huge. CANNOT wait to weigh these things dry. I really think I'm gonna be close to a pound with this tent. 12-19-2024 - Got some nutrient burn going on with the Granite Runtz...just the top leaves and other than some orange speckles on the leaves the flowers look good and overall the plant looks healthy. The GR's have by far the thickest/most dense flowers of the three. The Frosted Cherry O's look very balanced and is the most attractive plant in the tent. The Mystery Seed, which is the only one I topped, is just growing in every direction and has tons of flowers but is clearly behind the rest in terms of maturity. I'd say in a few days to a week it'll be much thicker. Today I watered each plant with 3 Liters of dechlorinated tap water PH'd to 6.5. I'll take a look at them on Saturday morning and see how dry they are. Basically they're drinking a half gallon of water per day. Probably 4 weeks out from harvest is my best guess right now.

Also a fastbuds purple lemonade in a 11 litre pot (30grams)a a original cheese in a 2 litre pot(experimenting)which is not ready yet. Strawberry pie.....wow so impressed with the yield but also the looks are amazing and smells like strawberries... who’d of thought it lol. Recommend to everybody will defo grow again. Fastbuds are killing the auto game!👊🏻

Looking good so far, got a little bit of light burn at beginning of week but not to bad. Plants are really starting to shoot up now that the roots have hit the water. Topped all 4 at beginning of week 3 for LST prep. AC unit in tent is keeping it around 21 Celsius and water is keeping between 18-20 Celsius naturally so far. When the lights go up from 600w to 1000w though my tent will hit 25+ Celsius so I am currently testing a new water cooled thermoelectric peltier reservoir water cooler I built and I will be installing soon. So far testing it I can bring a 5gal bucket of water from 25 Celsius to 10 Celsius in about 6 hrs. So we will see what it can do with about 20gal of water in my set up once my lights get turned up. I will be posting pics/video once I get it all figured out. So far it’s way cheaper then a commercial water chiller and seems to work good.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Day 29. Girls grow slow, but most important .... Could be i overwatered with 2.5 liters of water or i stonly watered them twice ;))) Girls didnt drop pot weight till day 31, on days 32 morning ill do new round of lst. Will feed them hard, will defoliate all bigger old leaves which are covering new grow, plants are strong enough to take pain now ;))) Its sad situation a bit, i got flue and with that corona madness my mood was very down and i didnt work with plants at all, anyway, they made to that stage where harm can be done and its time. Gorillas looks okeish even without work, really good strain at least for now. Cookies are very picky, its hardest to veg strain from all i ever tried, lets see, maybe food and heavy training will make them fit ;) Day 32. Girls are finaly light, so heavy training and huge feeding. I dont know what hapend, but they refused to drink for 8 days almost, one cookie has obvious sighns of overwatering and if to be honest all cookies are crap, gorillas grow amazing, especially self toped one, she made natural mainlining and covers space perfectly. Guess in next 2-3 days they will blast off, but i cant feed silica till more branches will grow up, cookies too small, lets wait and see... Day 33. Girls loved food, plenty new grow, all tops are facing sun again , they will bush up in next few days. Next watering - silica and cal mag and next after - fish mix. Day 34. Girls are drinking again, so i gave 1ml/l fishmix. Cookies show strange colours and on fresh grow you can see cal mag def. Next feed will give them extra, normaly TopMax should be enough... I dont like Cookies genetics so much, that i planted last 5th bean ;)) Want to check two things : 1. Are my lights strong to grow something not under direct light 2. Are those Cookies such crap, that i should never try any seeds from RQS. I planted 4 new girls, no work,no top - nothing will be done to them. Hope to see last Cookie bean growing beter than almost two years old Incredible Bulk x2 and last StrawberyCough bagseed bean, otherwise its sad quality for such big house. Cant find why all 4 Cookies grow so slow compaired to all 4 perfect Gorillas. Was using new worm castings, too ritch ?? maybe thats the answer in test grow i put pure BIOBIZZ AllMix soil, nothing extra. Had to top one Cookie, new grow was all damaged and didnt want to develop, will harm them even harder next time before silica and cal mag, which i thought not to use in this run ... Lets see .... Week 2 vegetation for the Apricot from fastbuds 420. All good at the moment, we are testing the xpert line with these girls. 1ml of master grow A+B 1ml of master root We removed the 2 lowest sets of leaves and branches. We do this because we have the girls in 7 liters and quite some plants together, so i prefer to concentrate on the main bud and only some side buds

•Seconda settimana• Ciao ragazzi !! Dopo i primi 15 giorni di vita (totali) le piante presentano una bellissima cera, sinonimo di irrigazione e nutrimenti corretti (nonostante il PH fosse alto). Ricordo che mantenere livelli ottimali di umidità, temperatura e PH mette la pianta in condizioni perfette per poter aumentare il rendimento finale.

Día 16. Ayer en el cambio de solución me olvidé la bomba desenchufada y las plantas estuvieron medio caidas hoy. Me di cuenta a tiempo y solamente tuve que sacar 6 hojas grandes que sufrieron mucho y cayeron. Luego prendí la bomba continua, bajé .un poco la intensidad de luz, y en un par de horas las plantas ya estaban mucho mejor. Esta semana agregué big bud de advance y reduje a la mitad el bud blood. Compré un medidor de ph y TDS, pero tengo que comprar baterías. Hasta ahora navego en ciego confiando en feeding y la verdad que no me ha fallado. Hice un LST para ocupar mejor el lugar, exponer más otras ramas y emparejar la altura de las plantas. Las flores han empezado a aparecer y parecen de un tamaño respetable. Día 19. Las plantas se adaptaron muy bien al LST. Ya están empezando a formarse las flores. Por suerte las veo muy bien y estoy contento con cómo vienen. El haber defoliado bastante hizo que las plantas tomen menos agua y ahora el depósito de 20 litros me alcanza bien. Estoy muy ansioso, pero siento que va pasando muy rápido el tiempo.

Welcome to my Black Jack b sponsored by Sweet Seeds 2 yrs ago nearly. Veg Weeks & Pre/Post Pre Flower Weeks 7-9 She was really healthy during her entire veg period. Moving into pre flower she didn't do any excess stretching. Plant was doing very well moving into pre flower it took a good few weeks for her to flip but it was building up a good base up and down the nodes. I used plagron right through half of flowering possibly more. For the last 4 weeks I moved all my plants to Xpert Nutrients. MAINTENANCE I carried out a good bit of work making sure all parts of her was getting light (as much as she didn't get, it was more then enough to get A grade bud just like it was done under a 100w). I stripped a lot of shoots coming into & during pre fower. So when coming in to fattening all her energy went into making buds that were brought to harvest. Knowing light would be an Issue (lack off) i made sure to use all my skills to move energy through a plant. After pre fower was over (plants nodes stop growing up) and I left her a few days for the leaves to take in energy building stigmata. Then I done 10-15% defoliations for mid wk into fattening and beyond until I felt was enough removed (3-4 stages). Now on her last few days I took loads of leaves off to help ripening. She's 95% cloudy and 15% or so Amber. I had to give 10l of water to flush the nutes I had given her. 4l was given and ppm was 650. So I had to give another 6L to get the ppm down to 250 area. 3 days its been under light for 11hrs with 30m of UV-A doses from 65cm away (they are attached to my light IR/UV45) FLOWERING/RIPENING WEEKS Plant moved very nicely through fattening. Buds are lots but whets there is pretty darn good for been at the side of a FC3000 300w light in a 1m2 tent doing many other plants. And this been by far been under the best part of it. It sat on the outskirts as this fem is one of my 1st 5 I started together with 7 autos in phase 1 of my 6 phase crop with 10-15 plants per phase. Took (NUMBER 4 this 1 is). 14 weeks from seed. And she's been through a hard flush. As the last 4.5 weeks she's been on Xpert Nutrients. NUTRIENT GIVEN So I know tats a large list. But as I updated my a lot of weeks into 1. I left on the list what was given. All of plagron was given through most of the grow right through to the middle of fattening and then I switched it (all my plants to Xpert Nutrients bloom nutes). And even then, I normally give more than 2-3 nutrients in 1 feeding 2-3 day window. Its important tat a plant take up these as individual so I typically leave a few days or at least 1-2 water feeds (or low ec feeds such as an enzyme, or calmag to help break down any excess nutrients left behind from last feed) I added my SE5000 and have this 60+cm away just finish off the ripening process. Pant has a good amount of bud. And really like this breeder. What have I been missing out on Sweet Seeds both plants are dreams to grow. Thanks to my sponsors. finally managed to heat the tent everything is good. i use 240 watt for bottom heating and 300 watt for blowing hot air inside. it's not a lot but lights spend much less.
