To the false scrog I added a grid. The pre-bloom stage. Good acceleration in growth. That's what I was talking about, super stretching out in the first few weeks of flowering. This plant is not for low boxes, and I have 160 cm, 80 of which is taken up by the pot and ventilation with lighting. I fed a little molasses to wake up the bacteria :) I continue to cut off the lower leaves and growth point ovaries little by little.

A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. 08/29/2018 Been a hot week but the girls don't seem to mind,90s in the day 82° at night and sticky,muggy weather. Their leaves all pointing ☝️,lets me know they are happy ☺️ .watered with plain water they were pretty dry pots weight was very light. Will feed and water in in morning sleep well and medicated😎 08/31/2018 Just a note today #1 is very green compared to the other 4 plants, could be potted plants running low on nitrogen? My soil has plenty according to soil test. I know last year's crop in soil was pale like other 4 plants, maybe biochar is helping soil retain it's nutes better? Year 2 for biochar, first year could have tied up some nutes....hmmm? Ps Last feeding today Fox farms big bloom at heavy feeder dose 1/2 cup per gallon, should see nice gains this week! 🙏🙏🙏. Pss. Added cal-mag this week as I noticed the leaves on my GDP were turning yellow, but also seems the are a bit purple now too... I think the real issue may have been PH though as I tested the run off and it was closer to 5.5-6 vs the water which I had been trying to keep at least 6.5 but as I'm learning I need a lot more PH up now to keep it balanced with the amount of nutes. Probably should have flushed at some point to help correct the PH but I have just watered with slightly more basic solution, ~7 reducing slightly each watering to 6.5, picked up a PH pen as I'm getting low on the test liquid. The buds are getting fat and sticky, the smell is nice as well. 3 weeks left, harvest should be on 55th day of flower, the 8th I'm estimating at least 2 ounces dry from the cheese, hoping to get at least 3 or 4 off the rest of these though. 👏 time will tell. Not even sure if they’re actually in week 10 haven’t really been taking too many pictures. Really loving the gorilla cookies and how big they are vs the apricot auto in the closer left corner. All other 3 are gorilla cookies autos. Just started feeding just distilled water for now and flush them to get for hatbest

Transplanted to 7 gal pots....gave the girls a trim. Changed soil to SOHUM with pumice. Still have note burns on the tips of some leaves. Thinking of forgoing nutrients and just go with plain ph balanced tap water. Any thoughts fellow growers? Any advice would be appreciated!

This week, the plant is feeding heavily and has grown well. I super cropped the main stem to help with the plant becoming too tall. It has taken very well. The plant was becoming very tall so I thought this would be something to try out. Experienced some light burn this week. Quickly figured out a solution to get my lights higher. Did not expect her to get so big but I’m Loving It! 😁 Been debating on cutting the wind burnt leaves all week. ⬇️⬇️⬇️Week Rundown⬇️⬇️⬇️ 8/9: Bumped light intensity to 75% Started new batch of nutes today. 1st week of early bloom set. No liquid KoolBloom this time 🤦‍♂️🏾 missing from starter kit! Mixed nutes as usual in full gallon jug. Transferred half of treated gallon to half gallon jug. Poured whole half gallon jug into Rez to top off rez at a little over 3rd line. 8/10: Topped of rez this morning with the rest of half gallon of nutes + some plain water out of half gallon jug. 8/11: Topped rez off back to a little over the 3rd line with the plain water from the half gallon water jug. Poured whole half gallon in. She has been drinking very heavily. 😌 thirsty jean lol. 8/12: Topped rez off tonight back to 3rd line. She is steadily drinking now. You can see roots swimming in the rez. 🙃🙃 8/13: Topped off rez this morning and midday. She is drinking heavy now. Did some maintenance on lower canopy. Got rid of dead/dying leaves. I hope she starts budding soon I’m running out of head room The canopy is pretty even right now but I’m now able to raise the lights any higher so I need her to stay put. 😂 8/14: Topped off rez this morning with the rest of half gallon nutes from last night and then some water from half gallon jug. Determined! I was able to raise the lights as high as I can for tent size. Used my 2 extra hanging clips to raise lights at least 12in above canopy. Hopefully she is done stretching as I can see bud formation slowly showing themselves. 8/15: Topped rez of this morning with water from half gallon jug. Started new batch this afternoon. Was no point to starve her til Monday for new batch so I ended up running it today. Bumped light intensity to 85%. Hopefully no roasting occurs lol

Plants are perfect, couldn't ask for a better beginning to week 5. *Update* Easy day, end of light cycle. 3 new pics. ---- Day 30 ----- Some fun photos today for this easy day. Humidity in basement FINALLY hit 40% this morning. Within 5 days it should be 30-35% residual basement and 45% tent for a good residual humidity. The hand shot has my fingers and palm forward from the bud tip, the bud tip is actually past my hand but it's nearly impossible to get a perfect shot with my arm in the tent and my other one far out trying to take a photo i can't see. The Tropicanna Popcorn nugs are already bigger than my thumb... gonna be fun in 4 weeks to see bud finishing sizes Wedding Cake - Cherry HubbaBubba smell Tropicanna Glookies - Pink Bubblegum with a strawberry like hint peaking through. Fattening up nicely. 1200 ppm 6.4 pH 23 Liters If anyone is wondering why I switched to Blackstrap Molasses I put up the Nutrition Facts.. in 20 grams you have carbohydrates, potassium, Calcium, Iron, B6 Vitamin, Magnesium, Zinc.. and that's only the "significant" nutrients (Human based for that picture) It also contains micro traces of copper and more. pH is quite nice too, with the nutrient regiment i'm on, it finishes itself at 6.4pH so I don't have to manipulate it with pH up/down... Loving everything so far. Humidity in basement was 39% today, SO damn close. Tent closed at lights on (highest residual humidity point) was at 48% ... woo hoo 3% more to go!!! ------ Day 32 ------ Wow. Wedding Cake larger buds I can't even wrap my hand around.. These buds are going to be mooooonstrous. Humidity was under 40% in basement, tent was 48% this morning. Great news for me. Easy day, pretty much standard operating procedures from here on out.. feed, drain dehumidifier, strengthen stems by shaking plants, open/close tents... rinse repeat. Both plants are amazing, great genetics so far regarding bud structure building/plant size. ----- Day 33 ----- 47.5% residual humidity Fed at 1150ppm 6.4pH 23L Everything's perfect, 30~ days left. ----- Day 34 ----- 48% humidity in tent, i'm a happy camper. Everything's perfect. Bulk has started, front right Tropicanna Glookies had double in thickness and diameter top buds of most stems. Wedding cake 14 inch stem I've named Big Bertha. Excited to watch her fatten up on the couch so-to-speak. I'm now on autopilot. Fed yesterday while half asleep, didn't even remember doing it. Thank god I take pics of ppm/pH before every feeding for data. One more feeding this week before week 6 happens tomorrow. This week Liquid Koolbloom ends, KoolBloom Dry begins for maximum bulk on week 6 first feeding (2 days into week 6) ----- Day 35 ----- Last day of week 5!!! This will be the ladies last week of Veg, they will be flipped to flower at the end of the week. I have been increasing the nutrients steadily, and rotating between heavy, light and low nutrient mixes. They have been steadily getting taller and bushier. Temps have remained steady in the high 70’s and low 80’s while RH has come down a bit to between 55 and 60%. I won’t be doing much training for these girls, and I won’t be running a SCROG this time around. I’ll need to make another custome size for my tent now that I have a much larger setup.
