Was another good week this week. Seem to have figured out the brown spotting, started adding sensi-calmag to the mix and the spotting has stopped and leaf color is darkening back up. Not sure if was from calmag deficiency or low nitrogen, but either way they look better so it seems like it was the right call. Did a light defoliation early in the week, maybe a dozen leaves per plant. Just the usual stuff under canopy or bunching too much. Has been much easier to keep humidity down since the heavy defoliation a week ago. Buds are really starting to look good on three of the four plants with the front left being furthest along. She is starting to pack frost already! Back left still looks a week behind, but coming in strong. Could this be a come from behind winner? Last day of the week took apart the Autopot system for a good clean. Clean the res, flush the lines with line cleaner, pull and clean the valves with dish soap, cleaned out the trays, wipe down the underside of the pots and back together it all goes. Been running for 40 days and this is the first clean, should be the only one as there's only maybe 40 days left. I find the B52 builds up a bit of sludge after a month or so, but worth using have seen noticable better grows since adding it to the feedings. Either way, an hour of work once a grow is nothing to complain about VS all the time out in hand watering. Also a big improvement on the newer 5.0 valves vs the previous generation. They are about double the diameter, so they gunk up MUCH less and fill a lot faster. Using the old valves I was cleaning every 1-2 weeks depending on feeding frequency. Ok so getting a bit concerned. I'm trying to keep nutrients low, but am noticing spotting on some other leaves and some of the white pistils lower down are growing in brown instead of white. Spotting on at least one of the plants has gotten to the degree I've trimmed it a bit and the lower leaves look fine. Please let me know if you see an issue with any of the above pictures / advice. - Update: Ok looks like I have a bit of light burn and possibly some nutrient issues as well. Have been adding more cal mag. Trying to water a bit less than was as may not have been letting the coco dry out enough. And I have moved my LED lights as far up as is possible currently to try and see how it goes, not sure If I've mucked this up or will still get a decent harvest. Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Edited: 28/09/18 Got a nice mini led microscope to check out my affected leaves. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LAX52IQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Glad to report that I have not seen a single mite on any of my checks between 60 to 120 magnification. Even split open a stem where I had to remove a leaf earlier and had a look inside just to be sure. There are lots of little circle type globs on the leaves, but I take it this is trichomes and not eggs.

Wow I am amazed at the growth in the last week. I did end up losing the one grease gun but I started a new seed and so far it is off to the races. This past week I have been running the rhize veg along with hygroben hygrozyme and hyshield. Plants are loving it! So tomorrow I am topping two and going to leave two just to see the difference in growth. All plants are attached to the same reservoir so they all have access to the same nutrients solution! I also have some exciting news I am getting a UVA light for this grow so I am really excited it should be here this week!

¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

9.2.25: The plants had a good watering, they're all still drinking a lot. Which is great, as that means growth, which, at this stage, we desperately need! I went ahead and gave all the plants a thorough watering each with: 2ltrs of dechlorinated water, PH'd to 6.5 with:- ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid I don't know how this scrog net is going to work out. I think the squares are too big. It's elasticated, which I like. However, I'm extremely cautious with watering and moving the net. It's only a matter of time before I break more branches. It's such a hassle with it in there, honestly. I can't get in the tent properly to even check the weight of pots, as it's all weaved through, and again, I will snap branches. I did have a free net with the tent, which I think was smaller squares. I think I will use some other training next run. It's really not my kind of setup. I'm too interested in moving things and inspecting the plants constantly. The net is driving me up the wall. 😣 I'm considering removing it and trying something else, but it's also a bit too late for oldest plants.9.2.25: Gave the plants another good soak. I used 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. It contained the following nutrients; ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid ♡ 0.5g of Ecothrive Biosys. The plants are undergoing explosive growth at this stage, which I'm thrilled by! Purple Lemonade is turning purplish hues. Pink Mist has so many bud sites and is looking very healthy. Do-sì-dos is growing vigorously and looking promising, especially considering all my unfortunate mishaps! 😅 Watermelon also has considerable growth. However, my training has made a mess out of the structure. Which I consider another valuable take away. Bubble

Great week this week, inside the tent and out. Carl 2 is doing great, and has mostly acclimatized to the winds and heat of the outdoors. UKBS 2 is seemingly recovering (knock on wood) from whatever was degenerating it's stem. It must have been mold or something similar as about 1/3 of the stem became dead wood and had to be removed carefully. I've been trawling the internet and all sources of horticultural forums I possibly can, and yielded somewhat inconclusive results. Everything from ants, to mold, to stem borers. None of which seemed to have been the case here. In any case, I took a whole ton of cuttings from UKBS 2 and am attempting to root them. Great genetics, and not to sound like a broken record but I'd hate to lose such a vigorous pheno. =-= Inside the tent, things are also going quite well. UKBS 1 is getting quite chunky, seems to be an interesting pheno. As for Carl 1, oh boy. I came to find out that this strain is a real interesting one. According to the breeder, it's a cross of C99 grapefruit x "D" Haze; pheno hunted and backcrossed in the 90s and stabilized over nearly 30 years. Loooooooong flowering times. In other news, the timelapse is out as well. Updates as usual. -6/3/2021 - Busted out the Rebel T5 and took some real nice budshots. Carl 1 is quite frosty, UKBS 1 is quite chunky. Also got a cool upskirt shot. -6/8/2021 - First orange pistils showing for Carl 1, looking real good. The clones of UKBS 2 are all doing well apart from one of them.

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "Grandaddy Purple" from Blimburn Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. She is really starting to do some stretching and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She has a few leaves that look textured or "crinkled". I tried doing some searches and not sure if this is due to a virus or some other factor. She is center in the tent and the only plant being grown in a fabric pot. She has also been vegging longer than any of the other plants in the garden. She was a survivor from previous run when I almost killed all my plants (did kill one) trying to kill so spider mites. This is the only plant presenting these abnormalities. I gave a lot of detail about the abnormal leaves because I am hoping someone may be able to help me troubleshoot. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. Thanks for checking out my diary. If you liked this diary, check out my other diaries and give me a follow! Until next time... Peace ☮️, Love 💚, And Frosty Nugs ❄️🌲! -Fo' Twenny

These 2 are doing amazingly! The synthetic one is close behind as she’s 3 days younger! But the Zamnesia nutrient one is showing so Much vigor! These are going to veg for a while until my others are done and then I’ll switch over into the flower tent when my others are done!

Day 71. So its perfect example of : 1. Photos with flash , can make your plant looks healthy, but they are not ! 2. Never spray your plants in flower !!@@!!@! ( I did it straight before lights off. And its not the first time or tenth even ... ) Pushing girls on pure water and they are not so bad ... It means this strain is really forgivable with growers mistakes , i will regrow this strain in autumn or winter run 100%. Smell is amazing, Queen is packing good frost as for damaged plant, Margaret is a bit behind and starving asf ;))) Let's wait , weight, smoke and decide , was starvation a reasonable move or NOT ? ;)))) Day 75. Dead Queen is packing real frost, Margaret is just starting to show some ... Checked trichs, 30 clear, 70 milky on Queen and most milky on Margaret ( she has almost none, just starting to pop up and it was big surprise maturity of them ) Think to push them 8 more days and its time to start Exotic Seeds veg for big tent. This grow is last here , it will be my dry room and sometimes veg. Happy Growing !!!

Week 2 is cruising along, and the lady is looking strong and healthy 💪🏼. Feeding her the full Canna suite with the pH locked at 5.8 and watering every 3-4 days. Everything's on track with no major updates—next week, I'll kick off LST!

J49 : Arrosage feuilles 0.5L eau

She seems to thrive in the new soil, I'm checking her regularly because of the darker ridged leaves, could I have overdone the bloodmeal content? It should not have overfeeding effects with organic super soil. But we'll see. The FIM seems to have taken hold with her and today I started training, although it is more main-lining. For this, I just used some microwaved bamboo from the garden. Now we go towards flowering and I'm getting more excited after the first few weeks were a bit sad. Some of you might have seen my super soil recipe in my other grow, the Orange Hill Special, if you didn't, check it out here in the images! I designed it out of frustration that products like Fox Farms etc are not readily available in Europe. Those who saw my Gelato Monstercop grow, know that soil was pretty good, that soil became the base for this recipe, amended with some organic precursors to make it less dependent on feeding and after amending. I would recommend amending some before flowering starts without the bloodmeal. Hope you can use it!! Thank you very much for checking me out again this week! Hapy growing and big hug BioBuds and Sunshine
