6/21/22-Placed in water fro presoak 6/22/22-Placed into damp paper towel 6/23/22-Seed cracked open so it went into its medium. Watered with about a shot glass of H2O. 6/25/22-Germination!!

We noticed this week that she's growing much faster and the side branches too. See the difference between the pictures April 18th - Topping view and April 20th- Topping view, and how much the side branches had grown. Other than that, it was a week without major events :) Sorry again for the pictures under the grow light.

She is bulking up now :) some leaves show some brown discolouration but nothing too serious. Just removed 2-3 Leaves that were not looking too good. Just let the plant do its thing. Light hits with about 850 PPFD

Orion f1 wächst schnell.sehr schnell. Die ist 60% größer als die bananas gleichen Alters... läuft gut bisher. Die beiden größeren banana wachsen wie die aus dem 1.run, der spätzünder ist halbsogroß aber sie wächst.

Day 21: First topping. Happy to removed the light-stressed part of the plant from the equation if only for cosmetic reasons. I waited for 5 nodes before the topping. Day 22: Godammit, the light failed again. Turned it off and waited for it to cool down. Turned it back on and it worked. Lost 1 hour of light. Day 23: Because of previous light stress and canopy temperature, I felt that 35cm is a good distance for the light. Day 25: First LST on the new growth tips. Started the mainline. Day 26: Again the light is failing to come on. I rewired once again, cursing my very existence, and it worked again. Again lost an hour of light in the morning. Continued refining the LST, and seeing how far I can push it. Noticed a slight tear at the base of one of the mains. Since the plant energy is coming from below and there is no noticeable affect on growth I'm going to ignore it. Checked the roots - look healthy. Though the new growth tips are not completely symmetrical, those leaves look good enough to eat. Trimmed the excess fan leaves. Topped up with a small amount of nutrients. Day 27: light didn't come on again. I rewired again, but this time it was stone cold refusing to do anything. Again I cursed my existence and all of life. Returned to grow store, turns out bulb was defective after all. Again lost 4 hours of light. But at least now I know the problem is solved. Rene at the grow store is a champ though, very helpful guy. The new bulb is noticeably brighter also. Maybe this was affecting growth? Also once this issue was fixed, I noticed some small amount of nutrient burn on the leaves tips. Rebalanced nutrients. Was 1.9 mS/m lowered to 1.65 mS/m, then to 1.48 mS/m. Must be more careful in future when upping the dosage but the water conductivity is now less than before (1.55 mS/m) so this should be ok. Also lowered pH of water slightly since it was 6.0. It's currently showing 5.2 but experience has taught me that this measurement will comfortably go back up to 5.7. water pH is seemingly constantly rising as the plant grows, and adjusting pH is really more art than science. (Edit: It was 5.7 the next morning, so ya ... )

So the vegging was dragging and there wasn't much new to report so I'm back with a flowering update lol. I'm about 2 weeks I'm flowering. I'll update the details later this week but just wanted to get pics up for now. I'll get some pics without the LED lights too

Week 6, 12-18 September 2025 12-18 Sept - Observed and let the plant grow. I would consider this the first true week of flower for this plant. My next nutrient schedule will reflect a slight change. I also increased the light power to 70%, DLI 40 canopy coverage at 18 hrs. The plant is maintaining a small size, which is what I wanted. But there are still several more weeks to go until finish. - 12 Sept changed nutrient solution - 12 Sept updated feeding schedule - Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 - Adjusting PH to 6.1 daily using GH up/down - Nutrient solution EC 1.7 at 69 degrees F - Light power at 70%, DLI 40 canopy coverage at 18hrs - Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. I grew two plants and they couldn't have been and more different from each other. One plant grew quite well in my organic amended soil, the other suffered from pH issues and did not like any kind of stress. The plants leaves grew quite different some were webbed especially the ones on the larger flowers. The structure of the flowers on this plant are very chunky fox tail with absolutely gigantic caylex', almost had me thinking seeds. This plant also took almost 3 more weeks in flower than her sister. This plant also had a nice fade with some pink,red,violet,gold colors coming through. Both plant have similar smell with one being a little more pungent and gassy. Now for the normal plant, she grew like a rock star. Hey flowers are covered in sugar and are top shelf dense. She was too down about two weeks ago and is in jars and curing, let me say this though"when Barney's Farm says to use caution they mean it". This plant produced some very strong medicine so much so that I may have found a strain I would grow continually for a year or so. It's that good IMO. The plant did not give me a single bit of fuss 🤗, unlike her sister. Now I have the remaining plant hung up to dry and trim. Can't wait Cheers!!!

Pheno 1 has a more bushy appearance and Pheno 2 is lighter in color and more bud swelling at the tops. Expect to see some nice colors come out in #2😃 In the end......it’s about the smoke😂👍🔥 Bud Fusion being introduced this week. Into the last phase of feeding during flower now. Nitrogen is continued to be reduced as its late flower. Keeping up the feeding ppm this week as we are getting to the end. May be pushing them a little more than I should but finding out how they react for next run. Still continuing to play with the light intensity and seeing how the girls react to my environment conditions when pushed harder. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR. Little more detail….. actually she is doing quite well. the buds look good. unfortunately she got mildew. i tried to remove everything as good as possible. unfortunately not 100% possible on the outside. i hope she makes it until the harvest. pictures will follow.

Just had to cut some fan leafs off and try to get her in some kind of shape before she start to get some hight. Cut some bigger yellow leafs off too.

The ladies have been fattening up quite a bit this week. They got their last round of nutrients and will be doing a flush and ph water util harvest. The smell coming from these things is potent and the buds are covered with sticky goodness. Carbon filter seems to have worn out already as the smell coming through the fan is quite strong now.
