Grow report week 4: The training and the topping Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the fourth week and have grown further. But they have also experienced some measures that I will tell you about. The training This week I continued the low-stress training (LST) and tied the plants further. The LST is a method to gently bend and tie the plants to improve the light distribution and air circulation. The goal is to keep the plants low and wide and promote more side shoots and flower heads. The topping In addition to the LST, I also applied the topping to make the plants even bushier. The topping is a method to cut off the top of the plant to interrupt the apical dominance and produce more main shoots. The goal is to branch the plant and produce more flowers. I performed the topping as follows: I watered the plants well to reduce the stress. I cut off the top of the plant above the third or fourth node to create two new shoots. I observed the plants and looked for signs of stress or shock. The topping also worked well and the plants recovered quickly. They formed two new main shoots that will later become large colas. They also put more energy into the side branches, which will also carry more flowers. The fertilization I also fertilized for the first time this week, although I actually wanted to start late with it. I used the Fish-Mix from BioBizz to give the plants more nitrogen. Fish-Mix is an organic liquid fertilizer that consists of fish parts from the North Sea and organic sugar beet extract. It stimulates the biological activity of the soil and the plant growth. The Fish-Mix did well for the plants and they showed more growth. They formed more leaves and shoots and became greener and healthier. They also absorbed more nitrogen and produced more proteins. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the fourth week. My plants have been well trained and topped and have shown great growth. I am very curious about the next week, where I have to activate my setup completely to give the plants their final place and pots. It will be exciting for me to see if my system works as I wished. I will continue to observe the plants and respond to their needs. I will adjust the light intensity, the fertilization and the training to achieve the best results. Sunday Feb. 14th The Plants are still alive and looking quite good Its hard to keep them happy in 10 g Soil They are watered twice a Day with Feedingsolution AND sPRAYED WITH fAST pLANTS SPRAY AS fOLIAR fEED I can see little Flowers i think next Update we can see it much better.

Topped this girl this week, she’s growing pretty good. Very nice looking plant to my eye.

So here we are, at the end, a few months later. I was so happy that I'll finally grow a plant without any training at all, just to see the full and uninterrupted genetic expression. It was a blast to grow her, I can't wait for the plant to dry and give it a few weeks of curing but she smells great already. I also wanted to thank Divine Seeds for the contest strain and Bio Tabs for great Bio fertilizer. You can judge for yourself because I'll let the photographs speak for themselves. Speaking of photography, I went with a moody style this time, because she has a great structure. I've trimmed her a little bit here and there and I've left a few big fan leaves on both sides for better looks. The big fan leaves reflect the light so well, it make the whole plant shine. Hello Diary, Milky Way F1 has completed its second week of flowering, a total of five weeks since the beginning of the vegetation. Although it is the beginning of the flowering phase, Milky Way F1 is full of flowers that develop really fast. The shape of the plant is usual, the main cola rises dominantly above the rest of the surrounding branches, which have all reached a similar height. If all these wounds are filled with flowers, I will be very very pleased. Some leaves dry up or turn yellow, so I mostly remove all such occurrences. This week I added supplements to both waterings. The first time I put the Easy Bloom Booster tablet in 7 liters of water and the second time I added Bio Flowering Booster. The conditions on the farm are good, the humidity is lower than 50% while the temperature is around 27, 28 degrees. Here is a quick overview of the week: 30/05/2023 - Day 31. Watering. I added one Easy Bloom tablet to 7 liters of water and lowered the pH. on 6.0 I watered all three plants with that amount. 02/06/2023 - Day 34. Watering. This time I added all three components from the Bio Flowering Booster kit. I also watered all three plants in the Box with 7 liters of water. 03/06/2023 - Day 35. 01/04/2022- Hello and welcome all been away on some family matter. So today was the last day this girl got watered and will also be the last day she got light as well, she will be cut down Friday morning. The smell has gotten a lot more stronger since flush was started last week Wednesday. Will update before I chop her down.

This week is another wet week with 72% humidity!! I am watching really closely for bud rot. And, I tend to get nervous and take a plant down too early when it rains so much. I can't really feed them any nutrients either because of all the rain. The good thing, however, is my skunk of doing really well considering the hail storm and broken stem it has had to endure. Miss Skunk has been brave and withstood the test of time. She has long, thin stems but she is packed with small buds and lots of resin! Royal Queen Seeds says, "Sweet Skunk Auto seeds produce plants that grow to a very manageable height of around 60–100cm, which translate to 40 inches. My Skunk is currently 36 inches!! Sweet Skunk Auto seeds are ready to harvest just 11–12 weeks after sprouting." So, I should be ready to take this down pretty soon.

I've overwatered 😬 Moved outside on the balcony a few hours to take some direct sun with a fan pointing the pots trying to dry it as much as I can.

WOW these two beauts are really filling out! No complains from me just wish I LST the SBR like i did the Dinafem but at the time the SBR wasn't as bendy as the Dinafem, it is amazing what one bend can do to help produce more bud sites. I'm sure that one big cola from the SBR is going to very nice looking though! My next photoperiod grow I will prob top, LST and trim, but i need to do some research again because I forgot everything lol 😅. My next grow journal is up! I think about the fact that it is no longer necessary to cut leaves. I cut it a lot, but I notice that many people cut a bunch of leaves at one time, although somewhere I read no more than 10% at a time.
