Growing great....almost ready to go to flower. She has been topped and transplanted into a 3 gallon fabric pot. In about a week maybe less she will be put into flower and we will be onto the next stage. So far so good 👌.

It’s the last week of flowering, and I’ve moved the plant into 48 hours of darkness to help boost trichome production before harvest. ✨ The plant has developed an incredibly deep purple color and is covered with trichomes—so much so that it sparkles under any light. The scent is amazing, filling the room with a sweet, candy-like fragrance with a touch of diesel. 🍬 When I trimmed a few leaves to prep for harvest, my scissors actually turned purple from the resin! That’s a first for me and shows just how rich and sticky the trichomes are on this plant. 😮✂️💜 I’m so excited to see how it looks and smells once it’s fully dried. This grow has been unforgettable! 😁🌿✨

In the very first week I kept the light so far so the it create a early grow on the structure but for me its not so good so I prepare a transplant for The next week.

Day 35. I know its last day of previous week, just didnt wanted to mess with week type. Its BIG week . New light was added and rhythm changed to 12/12. Pot was top uped with 3 handfulls of BioBizz Worm Castings. 1.5 g of Biosys and 1.5 g of Great White were added too. After training she got 2.5l of water, fastest drinker at the moment. Girl got small defoliation, when you bent main top, one fan leaf is always staying in everyone's way, so he had to go. Think to do big clearing on day 14-18 of flower. Got first wave of LST, main top was lowered, couple shoots were repositioned and secured too... Girl is a racer, double the size of others, thinking to scrog her even ... Still get nitrogen excess and magnesium issues, girl is on plain water, but pot is still too rich and i added castings ;)))) TS1000 by Mars Hydro, great light, did perfect job during veg period, now i added one more for better coverage of long tent. Think in tent 1x1m i could manage to flower all 3 without any ad ons .... Great small light for amazing price. Day 37. I see more progression, went with 3.5 liters of higher ph 6.5 , run off was 495 ppm, 6.3 ph, so all should sort out .... i still believe its more overdose than lack. She drinks fast, was even droopy a bit, needed watering few hours earlier... Day 38. Looks like higher ph and run off helped her a bit, anyways still see some damage, but form of even canopy compensate everything, she is very nice ! Day 41. Girl got heavy training, 5-10 leaves were taken off, most shoots secured. One leaf was double ;))) 3.5 liters of 6.3 water went in. Happy Growing !!!

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Let’s dive into the details! Environmental Updates: A Chill in the Air 🌬️ This week, temperatures in the grow room dipped to around 21-22°C, with relative humidity (RH) holding steady at 65%. While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. Last week I finally did some lollipopping and defoliation. I had too cause humidity went through the roof and foliage was dense and wet in the mornings. Also fed with the amendment. 5 liters of worm castings, with bone meal, some microlife. Some bud growth started but also trichomes are forming and a strong weed smell is developing in the tent. The growth is far behind compared to the other two though. Not as many buds and the plant is overall more flimsy and has hollow stalks. The very slender leaf growth leaves me to believe that next to being the runt all the grow, the gorilla doesn't seem to enjoy the high feed environment. It also really doesn't respond well to scrogging, it keeps reaching for the light, It remains the odd one out in the tent. The buds are few and far between, I'm not very hopeful this one will produce the grams needed to keep my grams per watt score high. The other two might well compensate for it, we shall see. Hello. Got the plants into the main grow room. There is 2 videos . In the first I just sit in the room quitly and turn the camera. you get a sense :) of what it's like in there. In the second I try to describe what's in the room, equipment and maybe a new technique. With the tomato cages I use, and needing the plant to slow down, I twist the stock into a large figure 8. Eventually I take off what is on the lower part of the 8, and just work the top of the 8. About 2 weeks in veg in this room. Then I take clones of everything before I switch to flower. >Carbon dioxide enhancement: I had to make that choice 20 years ago. I could, rent a tank and have my name on a list, at the gas store. Or make my own. They didn't have the small propane tanks like they do today for the blue flame you get when you burn it. I decided on a kerosene lamp burning down as low as it could be without going out. It makes a half blue and half yellow flame. I vent constantly so the small amount of carbon monoxide is not a problem. For the first week you can smell it a bit, but the smell disappears after that. I light the lamp in the morning and put it out at lights out (unless it's bed time). It needs to be put in a place in the room that cant get knocked over (pets, children, ?). I try to use extra attention whenever I use it. It can burn down the place. Be careful Please. >About 17 years ago I thought I'd lower my table by knocking a hole in the cement and dropping my 10 gallon reservoir more. I was able to lower it by 16 inches. Still have to watch the height of some plants though, it worked out well. Watch the video. > Air cleaner: The reason I got a big 8 inch exhaust fan was, I had a bout of powder mildew and needed better a exhaust system. When I plugged it in there was too much air moving. I phoned and asked and the salesman said that a dimmer switch wasn't a good idea. I put one on anyway. Works great. I have the fan barely on in the winter and about half way on in the middle of the summer. I haven't had any powdery mildew since. About 12 years ago I bought a good air cleaner. An ORECK, It has electrified plates that zap any organic particle or spore that come between the plates. Use to grow a Northern Lights that got 6 to 8 ounces per harvest, it grew big buds. Buds as big as my forearm. I had problems with gray mold attaching the buds. But none since I bought the air cleaner. Ya learn as you go.

As you can see at the beginning of the video, the Gorilla Punch was infested with spider mites at the end. I sepereted her directly outside the greenhouse. High time to harvest them before something worse happens… After 67 days in total from seed to harvest she got cut off👨‍🌾 it is dried in a cardboard box in the cellar at about 20 degrees Because of the spider mites there were some rotten buds, maybe 2-3g i have to cut off. It was definetly the smallest plant of them all. The bud rot is caused by the plant herself... nearly every bud was produced directly at the stam buds directly at the stam.
