As the plants are ripening and getting closer to harvest, I'm continuing to lower ppm levels while managing bucket water levels and ph. We're exactly at day 56 of flower (5/5/23) on Cinco de Mayo. The PBCRbx reflects a flowering time of 60-63 days, so no more nutrients at this point. I'll continue to monitor Trichomes through next week (i.e., week 9 of flower). Once I see more amber (approximately 20-25%), I will begin a 2-3 day flush with straight RO water. At that point, she is ready to come down. The last bucket change between week 7 and week 8 strictly followed GH's recommended dosage. That bucket change out brought an end to the ph swings she was beginning to experience. After the change out, the balance between water consumption, nutrient uptake, and ph is spot on. Specifically, while plant is up taking water, ph and ppm have maintained stability. She's looking and smelling incredible. Man those ETHOS beans are the bomb. There is a learning curve with DWC - no lie - but I've enjoyed the experience. That said, and if I had dialed her in from the start, she would have produced even better. Gratitude and thanks to ETHOS!

If I didn't have the pictures from each week, I'd have a hard time believing they are growing so fast! Pistils have formed on almost all the plants, with Gelat.OG being the furthest along.

Flipped these girls to flower on day 26. Most of them have been looking good and growing pretty fast. I topped off the reservoir and added a little maxibloom. All 8 plants are drinking a total of about 2 gallons of water per day now. I kinda slacked on training them this week, but I will try to get them spread out some over the next week. I have been pulling a few fan leaves from the bottom so they can get good air circulation.

An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. We are very thankful for many things but most of all that all our parents are healthy again. We wish your families are as fortunate in the coming year. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. Bask in her glowing light, enjoy her soothing energy, her creative spark when you are in need of love, just don't smoke her at that time, for she will soothe you bit not give her treasures, she will seduce you. Let the girls do their thing for the most part this last week. Started to stack up real nice, started to notice white pistils coming in. After 2-3 days there were more popping up and some beginning to flush to orange. Decided to LST and defol one last time, watered without any nutes. Today marks week 5 with the ladies, and I will officially say they are ending their veg cycle and transitioning into flower. Cranked the fans up tonight to circulate more air, tapering humidity down. Been pretty easy going so far

Heat problems remain... I upgraded the humidifier and installed a air hose from a cooler room...

The seedlings stretched a little due to being inside the germination dome in high humidity for too long. The stretching stopped once I took them out of the dome. But other than that the seedlings are growing great and are loving life right now.

1/25 Week 11 Ripley : Flushing begins with a five gallon flush to move the runoff to under 200ppm and defoliated by pulling almost every leaf on a stem, and god what a bunch there were. This opens the plant and removes those sources of nuets. Going to doing this as quickly as we may so will be monitoring runoff as we go. Will not pick up Peak again until ready to withdraw the CT. As we cant check the grow tent all day except few hours per day we've missed some highs and lows of the temps and humidity but overall we were ok. (END OF QUARANTINE) Now I have put them to finish underground a 600w hps under 12/12 schedule with the Divine Black opium. Luckily no more mould has spread, and all plants look happy healthy and still developing. Day 72 12/09/24 Thursday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. Finally a video and pictures update ✌️💚 Day 74 14/09/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today Day 76 16/09/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Will update all videos and pics tonight 😁 Day 77 17/09/24 Tuesday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Seeing good developments, buds forming nicely, divines are smaller denser structures but the buds are not lacking! Damn I'm surprised by 2L pots.

Been wanting to try out this auto ghost og from original sensible seeds for a while and finally got the opportunity to get one wet. I originally started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irritated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

Hello beautifull people! These are the final weeks. Started flushing this week. Strictly water! Im having a hard time keeping the humidity low... So i placed two passive dehumidifiers. 1 in and 1 outside the tent. And i have a fan blowing air over the buds. Lets hope that will suffice. Dont want to use high power using equiment. Power here is hella expensive. Added a vid displaying juicy nugs.

So, first of all, I want to say that I´ll be doing the diaries in a weekly updates way, instead of day by day, not only because it is less heavy on me, but I think it´s a better and more attractive reading. So, tell me if you prefer day by day or weekly updates please! Thanks! So, this week was pretty good, thricomes are looking pretty close to harvest. About 90% cloudy, with a little amber and clear. Watered with regular water and didn´t feed her. Flushed it with regular water on day 74, looked like it had still lots of nutes/salts buildup. And about flushing: I saw a really good study (I can link if it´s of interest for someone) showing that flushing isn´t really required, specially if you´re doing organic grows. It was really well explained and had solid arguments and comparisons, even tho, I flushed her in order to see if it really makes a difference. On day 76 when i first opened the tent in the day, she was all the way to the floor, almost hitting 2 tiny girls on the tent. Since she doesn´t had any strenght to support herself, I used some ropes to mantain her up. In resume: The week´s been really nice, she´s beautiful as hell with some purples and I´ve learnt some really good stuff as well.
