I think it fits after what they went through ^^ I'm currently discovering all the things you can do with my beloved plants. I hope I'm on the right track to escaping into my own world ^^ hehehe

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. This week we will see the colas and buds really dense up. We are about 2 weeks away from harvest now. Next week I will start my flush.

The ICE is almost done; the NL doesn’t even seem close. Interesting since ICE sprouted a day later than the NL.

WEEK #20 – WE'RE GETTING JUICY Final Stretch (or so). -2/-1 weeks for SMC and -1/0 weeks for Skywalker *Haze* according to Dutch Passion standard. So we're a bit overdue. But with the size of the plants, who cares? Still very little healthy plants, no signs for "end of life". Checked trichomes on top buds regularly: Milky way is here, but still not much amber. In fact not noticeably more than last week. Skywalker (to be expected) still a bit behind. But i can see additional calyxes forming (green/fresh pistills), so totally worth the wait. 😍 This time i cropped the detail shots to avoid the mediocre resizing of growdiaries. It's fun to just look at the plants, i hope you can imagine as well now. Regarding smell, it hit me today 😰. SMC smells like fruit loops - not kidding. Well, a bit of fuel/diesel smell in the air, but full sweet fruitiness. 1-2 more weeks, fingers crossed. 😺

stretching along slowly :D Big fat branches, she is starting to pick up speed

The Cookie Girls are doing great 😊 Overall, I’m very pleased with the results so far. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. At day 12 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, while I tucked, I snapped more than a couple of tops off, but the plant continues to thrive. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. Final weeks

(Log date week 7, day 49) So this week was a mixed bag, Tuesday started off with me finding a spider web on one of the lower fan leaves on my Hulkberry plant and noticed some bite marks on some of Fat Banana. In my haste to give rid of the spider mites, i caused some minor wind damage to some of the fan leaves on Hulkberry which caused some copper spotting and a stunted Fat banana cola. After i correctly treated both plants for spider mites and wind damage, they both bounced back and started to recover quite nicely. I also noticed a difference between topping these plants at different times; i topped fat banana when it had 4 cola's but i waited until hulkberry's roots reached to the bottom of my 5gal bucket and she had 8 cola's. A BIG difference in their recovery and overall structure, where fat banana jump out the gate with explosive veg growth and hulkberry struggled for two weeks just to develop it's first set of fan leaves. To now whereas hulkberry is much bigger, greener and bushier than fat banana. Hulkberry has responded much better to the additional stress whereas fat banana has struggled or stalled due to the stressful conditions. All in all wasn't too bad of a week, except for the power going out for a couple of hours on Saturday which raised my grow-room temperature to 90f, i was able to put out a couple of fires this week without any adverse long term effects. I also topped hulkberry on the last day of the week and I'm going to continue to feed them Technfloa at the full recommended strength since they have both responded very well to last week's formula. as always my pic are in chronological order Mr. O.G.T

Trichomes are slowly coming

No major changes this week 🍃 The plant has become very bushy and dense, filling out nicely. 🌱 I also have the feeling that the pre-flowering stage has begun, with the first subtle signs starting to show. Exciting times ahead! ✨

Seedsman Auto Lemon is growing strong and stretching for the stars. She was defoliated this week, but bushed back out again. Fed her some Espoma Organic Grow this week.
