Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. it has grown wonderfully in the last few weeks. it is becoming beautifully bushy, just as i had planned. i will also switch back to the biobizz grow fertiliser for it. the fish mix attracts too many flies and other insects. she tolerated the FIMing very well.

2018-04-03 Week 14 Day 1 Not much to say, there isn't much drama going on in growroom 2, the only things I do is giving them water and nutes 2 - 3 times/week and making sure that the lamp don't burn the girls. I gave them 4 liters today, and since they live in smartpots I can see when the pot gets wet when watering the girls, but you could hardly notice that. They are getting thirsty 😛 The flowers are developing very good, they look really healthy and their colors are fine. Crazy Cookies nr 1 is 66 cm Crazy Cookies nr2 is 52 cm 2018-04-04 Raised the lamp to it’s highest level and turned all girls 1/4 turn, it’s really hard to get in to the ladies in the back, I need to push the girls up against the walls on each side and crawl on the floor to be able to turn them and give them water/nutes. July 20 - day 41 - week 2 flowering

June 20 Week 8 All the plants are growing at a normal pace. I lost two the plants seedling. Water once this week. I noticed some yellow spots on some of the leaves. Happy grow. June 26th I got males, Please see pictures above for recognition of males. Happy grow!

Day 15 - Transplanted WWxBB 1, and SB 1 & 2 to Roots Organics Original in 5 gallon pots. It went smooth and they all perked up pretty quickly. WWxBB2 could use some more time to develop its roots but no more than 2 days until she gets transplanted too. Day 17 - Transplanted WWBB2 this morning so now all 4 ladies are in 5 gallon pots. Watering .5 L every about every 3 days but will need to gradually increase the watering amount with the root development. Keeping an eye out for topping time! Day 19 - Starting to see some slight discolorations on a few leaves. Seems too early for the soil to be running out of nutrients and my pH has been consistent as far as I know. Thinking about trying a light does of some FF nutes if it persists. WWBB1 is almost ready for topping.

I can now tell all the plants are growing like the monkey dough.and gorilla glue but I can see the leaves look different with the nuken I bred into them. Gunna be a surprise for how the bud will be. They still look healthy and genetics are sturdy. Starting to stink a bit. Pinched the tops on everything. Even the younger ones. Branches are getting bigger. My last couple videos is a plane spraying for gypsy moths at 5am. I didn't know it was spraying anything. I thought a plane was gunna crash into my house or someone stole it 🤣

Weekly update on these three. One is ready and will be coming down early this week with the other two probably toward the end. The flower are all nice and dense and smell strong. 1/14: Fed today. The weird little Lava Cake is finished stretching I guess...she's starting to stack up. The big one is fattening nicely. That plant is gonna weigh heavy. The bigger Slurricane is also gonna be a good producer. She's thick all the way down. The skinnier one will have a kickass cola, but has less lower branching. The Borderliners smell amazing...kindof a peppery piney mint fragrance. 1/18: Fed today and rearranged. Increased UVB exposure by another 30 mins per day 1/21: Fed today.

Looking good so far going into our second week of flower. Lots of new hairs and flower sites that are super close together so the inner node spacing is minimal at best. Should stack up quite nicely in the weeks to come. Stay tuned!

Flushing for a week I will be harvesting in about a week yeah can't wait to ✂️ this 🌱 down and make room for the next one's 👍

despite the not optimal season, I am satisfied with this vegetative phase, this strain is wonderful, there are no flowers yet but it already gives off an excellent scent

Hey now, hope everyone is staying safe and having a great week. The Glueberry OG started to stretch here in the past couple days and picked up 5 inches in the last 5 days, so we will see how long she continues to stretch. I will continue to feed her veg nutrients and and keep the medic grow spectrum x light in V1 mode as to help promote tighter internodal spacing. Once the stretch has stopped or at least almost stopped I will transition her to flower nutrients and introduce her to the flower spectrum of the light. I have started introducing UV/IR lighting to the grow tent for one hour before lights off. I just focused mainly on keeping the feeding reservoir clean, and PH'd, as well as some low stress training for her to attempt to have a nice even canopy. I am definitely more interested in flower quality than quantity at this point. I believe this lady will stretch for at least another week if not slightly longer just based on her expected harvest time of 12-13 weeks but we will see.
