This week went pretty well. I ended up attaching a line to each corner of the plant, and tying it off to the pole in corner. This really opened up the plan, and exposed a bunch of lime green that wasn't getting quite enough light. Other than that, I switched to ripening nutrients for these last two weeks or so, and I plan to flush her for five days or so. I am thinking about 2 and a half to 3 weeks until she is ready to come down. Temperatures are getting high again in my region, but I am able to hold about 78 degrees F in the tent, and about 42% RH. Not much to do until harvest time, just wait and hope that piglet continues to fatten up. I hope everyone had a great weekend, stay safe and Blaze On!

Well, the old girl was showing signs of calcium defciency (some spotting/rust on some of the leaves) so she got her rez change a day early this week with some added Cal-Mag. She did some stretching this week and grew about 5". Cleared out some undergrowth and small branches under the canopy to keep things neat. She seems to be setting up to produce some nice buds. 🤞 -------------- Day 65: PPM 658; PH 6.2. She was thirsty but watered down her drink as her PPMs were increasing a bit. Fed her a gallon of filtered water with a tsp of Cal-Mag. PPMs now at 563 with PH 6.2. Day 66: PPM 553; PH 6.2. Left her alone. She seems in a bette place after having her drink watered down yesterday. Day 67: PPM574; PH 6.2. Topped her off with a gallon of filtered water and light nutes. She's sitting at PPM 574; PH 6.2. Day 68: PPM 584; PH 6.2. Left her alone. Day 69: PPM 563; PH 6.2. Topped her off with a gallon of filtered water/nutes. Sitting at PPM 595; PH 6.1 Day 70: PPM 595; PH 5.4. I've suspected for a while that my PH meter has not been giving accurate readings (even after calibration). Bought a new meter and was proven correct - PH has been running much lower than readings have been showing. Corrected her to 6.1 today - maybe now she'll start sucking up some of that calcium she's been missing out on.

I took the tiny plant out of the tent due to state laws. She is happily sitting in a window... we'll see what happens with her! Massive growth for both plants this week! They both doubled in size! I don't know whether to call my plants vegging, pre-flowering or flowering. I figured this was the last week of veg and next week is full on flowering!! They both stink! Gassy for sure! I'll need to turn start using my carbon filter soon... I caught a few cool time lapse videos this week. Especially after feeding them last night!! I fed them twice this week. The first time was at a third recommended dose and I jumped it to half yesterday. The leaves are clawing at the top of the plants... I think it is a lack of phosphorus due to me only watering them the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts out there? I'd love advice about defoliating... I have a couple massive fan leaves I could remove to open the canopy for flowers... I just don't want to stunt the plant or rob the main cola of a major energy source... Thoughts are definitely welcome! I tried my hand at LST... I think a few are working and a few aren't doing the job... Definitely need to figure this out! Again advice is welcome! It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Flowering started: Saturday I switched the nutrients in the reservoir to flowering specifications after installing the SCROG and giving a massive trimming. After the final lights out Saturday, 3pm which was an extended session, I switched the timers to come on again Sunday on a period of 8pm to 8am (12 hours). The photos added today are from This morning after the first 12 hour period before the first lights our for 12. *fingers crossed*

10/17/2022 start of week 3. Plants still look healthy. Been LST the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry for a few days and some of the lower branches are catching up. Trying to keep the canopy as uniform as possible. The Strawberry Gushers appears to be in preflower already, which is a bit concerning. Was hoping to get at least another week out of her. Orange Bubblegum is still the smallest of the three, but she continues to grow at a steady pace. I think someone pulled a fast one on me with my cover crop. I have what looks like blades of grass growing, with only a few small clovers showing up so far. Guess that is what I get for shopping on Amazon. Also, increased my DLI to 500. Not much more to report at this time. On 10/19/2022 I watered 1 liter per pot with the Rootwise and ThermX again. This amount every 2 to 3 days seems to be sufficient for their current size. The pots are wet on the bottom, but no run off. Also, removed just a few of the lowest leaves and fan leaves blocking the lower branches. The LST is allowing the lower branches to catch up. 10/21/2022 watered both the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry with about 1.5 liters each. They are both really growing fast now. The Orange Bubblegum is beginning to speed up, it's just seems like a shorter plant with shorter node spacing. I just misted the surface of the Newberry since the pot was heavier than the other two. Still doing some minor LST on the main trunk and some selective deformation and leaf tucking of leaves blocking bud sites. 10/23/2022 was a big day for the Strawberry Gushers. Top dressed with Gnarly Barley, BuildASoil Craft Blend, and BuildASoil BuildFlower, then watered 2 liters. Plant is starting to stretch so I wanted to make sure she has access to the nutrients she needs. The Newberry and Orange Bubblegum just got 1 liter like usual. Plan to top dress them as well once they get a little bigger. Avg. VPD: .8 PPFD: 500 DLI: 32

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good. You have already received the first watering with Grow Liquid and the next in a mix with Bloom Liquid 😀👍. Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked.
