Grow diary 11. This grow I'm running 4 diaries, one for each strain in the tent. So my plan is instead of a week being 7 days, my weeks are most likely going to be every 10 days. I think I'm going to take pictures every 5 days so there is a mid week and end week shot. I'm germinating in my propagation tent which is secret jardin dp60. I soaked the seeds in water for 15 hours. The seeds sank so i took that as a good sign. After the seed had soaked for 15 hours I then soaked the rockwool cube for 30 mins in PH 5.8 water with 0.5ml/L hydroguard. Gave the cube a shake and let it drain for 30 mins before placing the seed pointy side down so the top of the seed is level with the cube. Covered seed with a loose bit of rockwool. Placed into propagator with the sunblaster t5 lights on constant. After 71 hours the seed popped TEMP MAX 34.2C AVG 30.1C MIN 25.8C HUMID MAX 86.3% AVG 80.3% MIN 57.2% VPD MAX 2.07 AVG 0.83 MIN 0.64 Hopefully back in 10 days.

Getting closer to the end and it's showing. Upping the BioPK still a little bit. I think they'll be ready in a day or 10. A couple more rounds and I'll start flushing. Even though everybody keeps telling me flushing has been scientifically debunked, I dont really feel comfortable not doing it. Any comments on that from you guys?

I used ghe flora kleen for a few days then plant phed water for a few and chopped yesterday. Next to come is the harvest, can't wait to see the weight off this baby.

Saw some explosive growth this week. Some signs of preflower. The broken stem plant is very stressed, while the other is thriving. Did first round of defoliation, went a tad overboard perhaps. Going to try and do a minor lollipop once I get some small buds going. Starting adding some silica blast for stem strength, fish shit for soil microbial life, and sugars to help nutrient intake. RO water, having to PH down to 6-6.5 now that I'm using the silica blast. Stopped the sns209, no signs of pests. Added another fan (total 3) and bug catcher (total 2). *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

6th day @gottagrowsometime many thanks for your help, I've changed my setup with Mars Hydro FC 3000 , 25% dimming and 55 cm from the plants ☘️ This week couldn't get any better 7th day I added a fan and put the FC 3000 power supply out of the tent, lamp lowered to 45cm from the plants.

9/7/24 this is a clone from my outdoor jokerz plant. she's had to reveg but is currently showing new growth. i wanted to see what she looks like when grown indoor. i wanted the outdoor ones to be indoor plants[ i mostly run indoor] but they got too big for my space but i didnt want to consider it a complete loss and took some clones. 9/12 her growth is improving. i didnt realize that this was considered monster cropping. Underneath the main she has atleast 4 side branches coming out thats new growth. im curious to see how this affects plant growth, plant training and over all plant FYI the pictures and test results that i posted are from the nurseries website that the clones/cultivars i have are from. i have no affiliation with them. im a rec grower in a rec

This strain is straight 🔥 the bud is super dense, frosty and the smell is super milky sweet. The bud just look super indica that turn out to be broccoli.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Packing up a bit now. Colours are amazing, really deep purple nearly both black leaves and bright red calyx's. Absolutely stinks too, like a really pungent nose burning smell haha almost unpleasant, fruitiness is there and it's like a berry and liquorice maybe, it's really strange . A few Amber trichomes are forming but very few. Going to check back next week and see how far off before I start flushing.
