Hey now, this week went very well. I transplanted her on day 17 and she looked a little grumpy for about 24 hours but her leaves are now pointing upwards and she is responding very well to the larger airpot. I still have the Spectrum X in V1 at 30% which is doing an excellent job of keeping her low to the ground with nice tight nodes. She is only six inches tall and working her on her 6th node by day 21 so I am very happy with this light fixture so far. I transplanted her into a mixture of Coco Coir and Perlite and set up an auto watering system that is currently feeding her 4 times per day, Once at lights on, and then every 5 hours thereafter until the 4th feeding, then it repeats at lights on. I will top her just above the 6th node as soon as I have room between 6 and 7, which will be in the next several days. I know some people don't think it's beneficial to top autos, and I would certainly agree it is not the best way to go in all setups. However, when utilizing high frequency fertigation in coco coir it is absolutely necessary. The issue is vertical growing space if you are growing in an indoor tent. I use a combination of LST, topping, mainlining, manifolding, and super cropping to try to keep my plants from growing into the lights, but it can be difficult with certain strains. As soon as I top her just above the 6th node, I will begin LST and start bending the mains down and tying them off to the side of the airpot via rubber coated wire. I will gradually increase her feed and just continue with LST and occasional defoliation the rest of the way. I am also super happy with this new MedicGrow light and how tight she is keeping the nodes on ALL the plants in the tent currently including my tomatoe plants that have just exploded since going under this light last week. I will post a few pics of them as well. They will go outside in about a week and will get fed the runoff from the Cannabis plants which will be mixed with my basement dehumidifier water to lower the EC, then I PH it to between 6 and 7 and the tomatoes absolutely EXPLODE....I hope everyone is have a great week, be safe and Blaze On! Flushing begins week#8. Water only now, looking for the fade. Will veg longer next time and defoliate. Last pic is a leaf I took of it has 2 calxys on its stem. Next run with 2 plants in this tent should be good. Haven’t updated recently due to work/getting my forklift license, long story short I passed and now onto the plants. The gelato are looking very well so far, switched the lights to 12/12 half way through week 4 so should be another week of stretch and then we will have the flower production (my favourite part) I’ve seen some weird marks on some leaves, not sure what they are or if their a problem but they don’t seem to be spreading etc so idk what it is but they seem healthy imo.

So the Northern Lights free seed from RQS ended up out living all 3 of the Dosidos’ “USA Premium” seeds that all died within the first week of sprouting, hopefully an explanation will be found for this as I have not been able to come to any conclusion as to what happened. At the start of the week I fimmed a few high blooms to slow growth. Humidity kept climbing untill I added a carbon filter 4inch on a inline fan as an exhaust, added a 2nd fan to circulate more. Checked pH around 4 times a day due to.such a small tank. At the end of this week I defoliated and also took around 40 cuttings which I will post separate to this dairy, they will be in a DWC setup.

10/2 They made it to their forever pots. Next Saturday we'll be hitting 2 months from sprout and as a whole its been a pleasure to grow these plants. They all are a very healthy green and seem to be happy. Temperatures in the region may have unexpectedly slowed them down (I grow in a basement) because temps have plummeted from around 78 with the lights on to as low as 71! I don't think they like it either. Growth has slowed with it. Never fear, space heater is here. Everything thing needs to be dialed in for the next few weeks because I want explosive growth over the next 21 days. Going to try a SST somewhere in there. Parsing through all this bro science isn't easy but it sure is fun to experiment. It allegedly gives you good root growth and provides crucial enzymes. Almost sounds too good to be true but I'm going to see how it goes regardless. I heard you can use I wide variety of seeds but alpha alpha is the only one I have on hand. Wish me luck. As for the plants: Moby= beast. I'd be a fool not to attempt to clone her. Vigorous grower and responds well to training. Not a demanding eater either, at least so far. Loving this freebie from NASC. Highly recommend them if you're in the northeast US looking for a local seed bank. GZ 1 = steady. Probably the biggest back slide if you want to call it that. Spotted some yellowing on lower leaves but they are shaded by this ones thick canopy. May not even be an issue but we keep an eye on it. Probably the biggest critic of the lowering temperatures because she's slowed down in the past 2 days. Gz2= trooper. She had a rougher upbringing and she's got a far different shape than the other two because of it. But with a little work I'm sure soon both GZ will be indistinguishable from one another. Banana daddy= forgot to take pics of her. Man have I been growing autoflowers all wrong. I may have fed this plant once. Though it should be noted that the soil I put her in was amended with alpha alpha, fish bone meal, and guano. She seems to really enjoy it so far. Not a single yellow leaf. Droopy at times though which is odd. Also some tacoing on new growth that ends up correcting itself as the leaf gets bigger. Double odd. Next time I do an auto run I'm definitely doing much less in terms of feeding and maintenance. Loving your plants too much can be deadly. Starting to figure them out though so I'm happy I did at least one. I'll post in a few days when I water my photos again.

Fastbuds has some great strains and this one has been one of my favourites .. The buds get compact and light green very good stuff.. the buds are going to be great and they are forming up very nice right now. THE WEEK BEFORE had frost was very rough on this girl but she is a survivor ..

So far everything is looking great! She is looking like life is good. I am gradually decreasing the grow food and gradually increasing the bloom food. I think I will increase the bloom food a little more. She is starting to get some frosty spots so that is good to see. Looking forward to the weeks to come!

A more difficult week. I've been battling the water consumption on two of the girls. I ordered and hooked up the Blumats auto watering system. I followed the instructions to a T but they don't work on those settings for this type of plant. They must be recommending for succulents cause the girls dried out right away with the settings. So I've been slowing dialing it in the get the proper amount to release. This is the other girl consuming a lot. But with the auto watering system she's holding her own.
