After three weeks in the solo cups I transplanted to 1 gallon pots and three days later I noticed yellowing on one of the plants so in 16oz of water I mixed in 1/4 tsp of Epsom salt and gave it to both plants in fear of magnesium deficiency but the other plant is thriving and growing strong. So, the nutrient lock is fixed, the humidity is under control, and these ladies are looking super vigorous. We will flip very soon as the stretch will fill out any holes in the SCROG net. We will also clear the bottom of these plants in the next day or 2, taking lots of clones and making sure we have that SOG. We have introduced some workers, 10 praying mantis to keep an eye on any pests.. the video of the mantis is from another grow, not the OG kush Light is about 70% ATM and i will turn up to 80% today, Spiderfarmer have kindly sponsored us with a Light controller, that arrives imminently and as soon as it does, it's week 1 of flowering and the light will go to 80% - then 90, then 100.... We have had serious rain here, the relative humidity outside is 90% and the temp is 31 degrees. We continue to feed with our own nutrient schedule. 7/30/23 - Day 48 - OK, so last I posted, I have been waiting to see how tall she grows. She does not seem to be stopping her growth I'm going to try some super cropping. I've never done this before, but it honestly does not seem like a bad thing. Hurt the plant a little, and the response should be more THC. The reason for hurting the plant is so that you can bend the plant as you need it. She's sleeping now, but when she wakes up, ill take a look and possibly start to super crop. Currently, I am working on implementing the auto water feature of the LEAF Grow system, which is quite convenient to set up. All it requires is to hook it up to a standard hose outlet, saving you time and effort. By using Reverse Osmosis (RO) water instead of tap water, I can ensure a controlled and optimal environment for my plants. Tap water contains various additives like copper, zinc, and chlorine, which can't be measured precisely and might affect plant growth. In a successful grow operation, every aspect needs careful control, and water is of utmost importance. RO water, with its near-zero ppm, ensures that there are no unwanted additives, offering the best conditions for plant development. Although RO water is not produced under pressure, I've found a suitable solution to address this concern. To achieve the required pressure for the LEAF unit, which is rated for 30 - 80 PSI, I've researched and discovered that a sump pump would work perfectly in this setup. This pump adds the necessary 30 PSI to the water line as it is drawn from the inlet, eliminating the need to pressurize a bottle or container, thus avoiding potential hazards associated with excessive pressure. I'll be documenting my progress with pictures as I set up this system, and I can't wait to witness the auto water feature in action, saving me from the hassle of manually adding water. Super Crop: I did about half of the plant in a Super Crop today. Meaning I damaged the branches enough to bend them. The plant will work overtime to fix them, but also, the Resin and THC will be surging through the plant in a rush to be more defensive against what it more than likely a predator eating it. I did my best to make the branches pliable. I think I did a good job. I was so scared that I was going to snap them.... and I did; on a couple, they split up the side. So I grabbed my duct tape and added a bandaid. I have been worried sick about how she would handle all the destruction. After about 3 hrs, I saw that all the Super Cropped branches were already reaching back up. This is a great sign that the plant is doing well and that all the branches I was sure were to fall off are thriving. Again I think this box is magic. The topping didn't stunt any growth, trimming a 3-gallon bucket full of leaves 1st week into flower didn't stunt any growth, and Super Cropping 2 weeks into flowering seems to be thriving. I'm going to get to experiment with this LEAF box on all kinds of strains. The possibilities are endless. Just one theory I want to try, Purple. I want to grow a strain known for its purple, and I want to grow it a few times, each time growing it colder and colder to document and show how cold might affect the purple color like we have all read and heard about. These are the kinds of things that I think about and why I choose LEAF. Ill be back to update tomorrow morning. 8/1/23 - Day 50 - I updated some of the pictures. Flowering is going well. Every day the water is less, and the buds are bigger! I scoped out some of the buds already. Now we just wait. i have a water change coming up in a few days. Week 7 Day 43 to 49 of flower I fed them half nute flush water this week. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 1 time. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added .5ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and 7ml of Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.3. Since P2 looked mostly ready to harvest I decided to dry out after the first feed this week. Next week is play by ear week. Currently day 48 I plan to harvest p2 tomorrow and leave p1 for another week. So I will feed p1 once more with the same half nute flush water feed that I used this week then let her dry out again.

the stretch has begun. in just 9 days the flowers are gonna start to form. i've been trying to give the plants more support. i placed a bunch of Bamboo through the cages to support the branches and placed a net on the smallest plant. ( the net's holes were too small, so i cut it up. only problem, since i can't reach the other plants that well i can't do the same for them. yet.) i'm working on it, i haven't had that much of time lately to work on the plants and the weather isn't helping either. most of the plants reached the height of 180 centimeters and maybe 190 before flowering. curious how big they will become when it all starts.

Having tough battles again all enviroment, its getting too cold and wett. Tried making gulfplate roof but failed due to her size. After 1 day off running around this is the outcome.

From my previous experience with the outdoor grow. I decided to put her to the test in an indoor grow setup. I must say she is looking absolutely plush and green with strong leafs .. I'm already super excited to see what this grow can produce with the correct training and feeding schedules.

18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. . All three Exotic Witch plants are mostly Indica types. A fantastic sweet pleasant intoxicating scent. The buds are already getting fat. EW # 1 - 87cm - lots of trichomes, slightly more sativa, quality EW # 2 - 96cm - fat buds, probably a big yielder EW # 4 - 71cm - smallest plant, lower yield

Today is the harvest day , you can see the trichomes are ~50% amber and cloudy it's enough for this 😁

Hoping she stops the stretch soon as she'll be getting very close very close to the light if she doesn't. Very happy with how the canopy and defo turned out. Still stretching, OH LAWD. She was 25 cm away from the light, that's lightburn just waiting to happen. Got the two tents in series now with all the equipment in the larger tent so this light can literally kiss the roof, which was very much needed. Canopy was looking a little dense in parts and the corners had nothing at all so I fixed that. This really is turning into a very nice run for me. Last defo day 21, I'll have the choice between a 45 and 30 cm deep canopy it seems. I think I fucked up the defo, I think I took way too much fan leaves. I left 3 fan leaves at least to the top of each main.
