Week 8 : This week have about 70%milky trichomes 10% clear and 20%amber I think they may be nearly ready :) not sure if to give one more week or start flush this week

Germination: wet cotton pads in a zipper plastic bag. That's my third grow, got a much bigger 5x5 tent and a new LSD light. Reminder to myself: NEVER EVER try to grow seedlings in PEAT POTS! If they are covered by humidity domes - they are constantly moist and could get mold. If not covered - they suck all the moisture from the soil! Plus, peat is highly acidic: (pH 3.5-4.5) 26/10/22 A couple of seedlings almost died in 25C/60% conditions after not watering for 24 hours. Withered severly! Repotted immediately.

Day 8 - She has sprouted and looking healthy. I have decided to use a 20/4 light cycle for this grow. Day 11 - She fell over after the water so I have used a cable tie to prop her up. Still looking healthy, just top heavy Day 13 - She's looking great and she can balance herself

Mild defoliation throughout this week. Flush imminent so will leave the remaining fans as nute banks. Next run with these genetics I'll be running a monstercropped clone under this scrog and will go heavier with the defoliation earlier on. I was advised this on here this grow and did a bit but have learned I need more! Forever learning. Looks like it's gonna be an epic harvest. These girls smell absolutely dank. Testament to the quality of these Madame Grow Fertilisers. Harvest just get better every time! Used The Active Sugar Boost all through flower at 3ml per litre this run and I think the results speak for themselves. I cannot implore you guys enough to go check this stuff out. The Pure Ice Cream clone is growing well. Nothing special has been happening. She is waiting on another plant to finish so she can go to flowering. It will be about 3 or 4 weeks from now. Everything is going smooth. My harvest is well over. This was a light dep run on 6 plants. On my 3 black cherry gelato (BCG), I started with 3 plants and one succumbed to both shock and caterpillars, one I fresh froze early into hash and one plant at about 14 oz dried and cured. Both the surviving plants were hit hard by the cats and my yield is about 50-60% of what it could have been. But that’s growing in SoCal. I really liked the outdoor BCG, it kept its terp profile well past 8mos from harvest. The hash was mixed with my PPP outdoor hash. TBH, the hash is so potent, I can’t really use it that much. I’ve probably smoked 7g over 8 months and still have over 46-50 grams of hash left. I’m writing this about 9 months after I harvested. I harvested about 50 jars total inside and outside as well as a 2oz temple ball of hash. I still have 19 of 50 jars left and 48g of hash left after 8-9 months. Not to mention a good 6lb of trim.

******************************************************************** START OF WEEK Went to the grow store and wound up with an AC Infinity EVO6. It should be a nice light for the future, and when my warranty replacement comes back, assuming that won't be an issue, it'll be nice to have a decent back-up. That's the bright side, but I am a little bummed about laying down the cash with ten to 14 days left. That part is the kick in the nutes. Fine, moving on. As for the grow, it's plowing forward. These plants are doing all the things we want them to do right now. They're getting fat, they're getting sticky, and the fade is fading away. Some branches may call for some last minute support, but for now the sucked-in tent walls will continue to suffice. The feed is still at 1100ppm and pk boosted, but the plan is to finish this week around 750. ******************************************************************** END OF WEEK Day 63 of flowering has arrived. I've backed off the nutrients. We're now sitting at 850ppm with about 6-8 gallons in the system remaining. This should equate to a Thursday refill with no feed, and then a Saturday or Sunday chop. VPD has been running a touch high this week, but that's not a concern. It's staying in the ideal range for most of the lights on period, and then trailing up in the last few hours to around 1.7-1.8. No biggie. The new light is really nice, but it runs hotter than the combo of the S22 and S44 (500W total), and that's with the EVO6 driver outside of the tent. This also isn't a big deal. The max tent temp is around 84, and before that wouldn't get past 82. Not a huge difference, and potentially better for the plants with the additional heat. I've got two CO2 mushroom bags in there, so more temp should mean more production at that level. I'm excited for this grow to finish and I'm looking forward to sampling the variety. I'm definitely using half, if not more, to make bubble hash. I'm probably just going to run it all together, as opposed to having runs for each pheno. I'll sample the tops independently, and smash rosin by pheno, but I'm not sold on isolating the hash. Seems like triple the work, but I've got a week to make further considerations, so we'll see. This will be my last grow until I sell this place and move into my next place. I'm going to miss growing. It's brought me a ton of peace by giving me something to anticipate, study, and take pride in. It's such an enjoyable hobby. I'll miss it in the time being, but I'm grateful that I won't need to step foot inside of a dispensary in 2024. Big win there! Everyone should grow their own.

Gaia F1 is looking to be experiencing a bit of a growth spurt, which is nice to see! Hopefully, she will start progressing a little bit more next week. The leaves are a nice green colour looking very healthy, very pleased. I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 25.9.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 Sea K PH: 6.5 PPM: 565 The fungus gnats have really increased since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. To be honest overall this strain done good so as the others. Reflecting back on how i started with just a tent and light, and slowly buying the fans and filters whiles the plants were growing. But i did want these plants to grow naturally without topping and Low Stress Training. I regret not removing the lower branches becuase i did get alot of small airy buds down there. But it was all trial and error. All i done was remove some fan leaves when good to do so every now and then. Not on a mad level tho, i did have alot of sugar leaves which i will be making some stuff with! At veg the plants had deficiencies due to out of date Biobizz bottles. But that got sorted with the magic of Algimac and Calmag. Overall Next time I will definitely train the plants and maybe top a few. Final Yield: Plant #1 21.88 Grams Plant #2 33.36 Grams Plant #3 56.06 Grams Which yield exactly 110 grams! Ounces come out very fat with these light buds Not bad for the conditions they were brought up in, and with no training! Thanks for everyone who has followed this diary throught out the journey! Week 3 of Flower we focus on Defoilation. This really is going to test the genetics response to extreme stress. Performed a 5 day Schwazze to minimize stress instead of ripping off most leave in one day. Plant seem to have reacted well so far. This technique has really opened the canopy and expose many bud sites. Preparing for a top feed at start of new week.
