Week Five and Flowering has begun Will fold in Bio-Bloom and replace Fix Mix with Bio-grow , may add some Phos via top dressing as well. Yellowing continues to recede just not fast enough for my comfort. Brandy has obviously stunted considerably and Maggie at least somewhat. Could not expect differently Moving to Flowering tent soon as its clear, couple of days at most 10/28 UPDATE Going to play on a couple of hunches at next watering. Need to get a TDS meter soon, got a feeling it would help. Ever since we went to BioBizz we have experienced a variety of oddness in the vein of this grow. Now long term since we are switching to coco and Flora nuet line that is solved but short term I am switching to Dr. Earth Flower Girl for remainder of grow. Every feeding/watering will be @6.5 PH to 20% run off and checking PH on that. Of course this will be modified based on results. Schedule is a single top dressing at 4 tbs (roughly 2 tsp per gal of soil) covering with 1/2 inch min of coco and 50% perlite as a mulch. Layla must go on her own feeding schedule as she is just so much bigger and drinking well. Will do the feed when moving to Flowering tent in a day or so as that will be about time to water. She looks good if a little darker green than I like. Were it only Layla I might not suspect anything... meh Here is where Grow Diaries saved the day , by going back and looking at past grows we came to suspect the nuet change although initially results were great problems always seemed to follow. In my reaction to that, not knowing, I may have made other mistakes, likely in fact. Its a solid organic and may head off some issues. Simplify As for Bandy and Maggie, still have that bottle of H2O2 on the shelf, need to see some serious improvement real soon. Getting to be now or never Later: Talked to the owner of a hydroponics store who is also a long time grower that knows these nuet lines cold. His take is that it is absolutely the Bio-Bizz nuets, seems they are hard to run alone as they have holes in their make up which will cause mystery deficiencies in some plants and soil mixes. That really pisses me off LoL , my fault though just glad I have partial explanation. Good thing is he was able to show me the CocoTek Grow and Bloom lines and that is going to be the choice, two part feed without complications. Simplify heheh 10/29 Confirmed the dye reading of pot PH on all three by another method. Took a handful sized soil sample from as deep as I could of each pot and placed into a cup, soaked with 7.0 water let stand 15 minutes to stabilize, tested pour off, all at 6.7 so that is NOT the problem. Damn it This is the reasoning: Water goes into the pot at 6.4-6.5 takes the entire system to that level temporarily, it then begins bringing it up to 6.7-6.8ish and that friends covers the entire range of nuet take-up in soil. Going to cheat a bit high and make it 6.5 solid as its good on acid content. Least thats how I see it, back to basics so may as well. Top dressing Layla today with Flower Girl, others follow when pots dry out a bit more. Moved to Flowering Tent , something came up and they still have not been feed will try and do it this afternoon. 10/30 Fed Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 4 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) 11/1 Defoliated Layla (about 3%) so the center of the plant gets good light, did a little training on Brandy to keep things dry, Maggie... man just letting it grow I am just flabbergasted at this yellow leaf thing Pics at watering tomorrow 11/2 No water today, they dont need it.

So far so good !! Started feeding some ocean magic and rezin ! I’m going to do some light defoliation and keep some clones ! Light and easy on the feed just hanging out letting them do there thing ! 👍🤠 Most of the time I’m feeding /water / feeding !

All done all done there we go bam First ever successful grow I’m psyched, can’t wait to do four more of this strain under a way better light and see how dense I can get those nugs Recommend any new grower looking to try out some auto flowers.

Day 19-26 (May 10th - May 17th) (Day 21) Stretch is almost over and the plants still look like they’re in veg. I’m seeing almost zero trichomes and when compared to my other room it’s laughable. At least the sites are starting to fill in a little. One plant is super leggy and stretchy. I’m guessing it’s Jack Herer but won’t know until late flower or harvest. The plant in the far left corner has great structure and thick pistil clumps. I’m guessing it’s either blueberry or the white og. Blueberry has a pretty distinct smell so differentiating all the strains won’t be that hard actually. (Day 24) I’ve been rearranging the plants once in a while just to get all sides exposed to some decent light. I never realized how much I value my LED until this run. The only way I would ever use another hps for flower is if it was one of those 1000w DE lights that all the commercial grows use. Sites are starting to fill in quite a bit now. Trichomes are still non existent though. Even on the archive genetics which is really surprising. (Day 25) Pots somewhat dried out finally. Tomorrow I’m going to leach everything with another 2 liters each and top dress with 15ml of nature’s pride bloom, 10ml of Destiny launch and 5ml of kelp meal. I’m starting to see minor N tox on some of the plants so I will probably give them a full gallon. This tent is largely experimental so I’m going to fuck with these plants pretty heavy to iron out some theories and try some new techniques. (Day 26) When I was watering today I noticed that slurricane, Puro loco and guava cake all hermed. The archives just got too stressed out in early veg I think. When I dug up both plants they were still being choked out by the sponge aerogarden plugs. Puro Loco was leading by far in the trichome department too. The guava cake was from a hermed bagseed so it’s not surprising at all but that kind of pisses me off about the “elite” Archive genetics, especially if you paid 200$ for a 10 pack. Then again, it was still my error and not their genetics. Luckily I didn’t pay a dime for them. Running those was a complete waste of time and space. With proper environment and no seedling stress I’m sure I could have grown some amazing looking stuff. All the European and Canadian genes look fine though. I’m sure they would have filled out a lot more if they weren’t being choked out by hermies. No signs of bananas anywhere else. Hopefully the 4 slurricanes I have outdoor this year will pull through without herming.

I turned on the second light and added the scrog net this week to begin doing LST. Pinched all the new tops that were starting to come up so I get more of those precious main colas. She's loving the extra 150w of light, growth has really started to explode. Now I'm working on evening out the canopy height so that everything is even when I flip to flower. The fun has begun.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Day 44. Some girls have a bit too much N, leaves show very light curl and some girls are still in veg/preflower mode, so for two waterings it will be phed water with light CalMag added. But anyway, all took that heavy training easy and are blooming. Now i understand in what an absurd grow i created myself, but ... a journey is a journey and i like it ! ;))) Day 45. All good in the Neibourhood ;))) Day 47. Girls got a winner pedestal ;))) had to lift some, had to leave some on the ground, had to supercrop one skyscraper , she was going to the sealings ;)) Still light N overdose curl, but only on one most running to sun strain, so it will be a challenge to feed those 5 pots with other 10 girls in them ... Oh well, hope SOMEBODY will learn ;))

After consulting with a few others working with this strain I have seen that they can have quite a stretch and given the time frame with my other project the time is here to switch to flower. So this is day one and when these photos were taken they had just woken up.

Pablo Escobar is coming to a end. She has some nice frosty colas on her. She has a fruity smell with a pine undertone. Her feed was pretty strong and it probably effected my final yield. She will still provide several ounces once she is processed. I have not has a good sativa in some time. She smells very good. Off and running with some flowers starting to show up and swell. Had some nutrient deficiencies I had to address but looks like all is dialed in now. Started using Fish Shit and some Grow Big to help with deficiencies and this seems to have helped, but I will continue to monitor and update. 🌱🤙

Auf 100x100cm, in einem gedämmten Growroom, baue ich 2x Sensi Skunk an und versuche den Raum mit diversen Techniken so weit es geht auszufüllen. In dieser Woche habe ich aber erst mal das selbst gebaute DWC System einsatzfertig gemacht und den Sämling eingesetzt. 2021-11-07 Yesterday, I transplanted the "Puddin" into 30 L Growingpot, and took her into the urban Chili She had grown out her prevouis airpot well, and showed lots of wonderful Roots I used a Peatfree, organic Growingsoil, I hope it works well But the description sounded well Good Ph, prefertilised ( EC 1,6) with coco , perlite and woodrasps, for drainage andadded mycelium I gave some " living Organics" into the Planthole, and added Living Organics into the water. so all the medium gets enough microbacterias So far so good, in last case i topped her multiple to spread the canopy for later training _stay courious_ 2021-11-10 After the trining plant remains droopy, idk?... whats going on maybe i watered to much we will see I trained her with LST Supercropping and Topping Topping goes on ontil I have at least 16 Colas to make a nice ring xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Big Shout- Out to @urban_chili For sending this wonderful complete Growbox named „urban Chili 3.0“ for our CHARITY GROWOFF @Silky_smooth and me, are using the same Equipment for this entire Grow. Week 4 of veg was the most problem free so far. Lots of growth and things really starting to take shape. Started some lite LST on Gorilla Cookie and a few ties on the other strains. Removed some of the lower leaves that were lagging and damaged from the earlier pests invasion. By the end of the week all strains were pre-flowering with Purple Punch leading the way (all bud and few leaves) and Gorilla Glue in last place. Not surprisingly these two strains were the least and most effected by the pests. Purple Lemonade is a shorty but looking good I think, maybe stunted growth due to the pest/heat issues in the first couple of weeks? Gorilla Cookie is nice and bushy with plenty of bud sites. Although for the time being I'm pest free I'm keeping the Ladybugs in the tent. As there is hopefully no food for them on the plants so I keep them happy with a few raisins soaked in water with a couple of drops of raw honey mixed in. This seems to keep them happy and they stay mostly in the semi open tent. I let the pots dry out for 2 days for the first time since I started the grow. They were thirsty when they woke up on the last day of this week and this is when they received their first dose of flowering nutes. Again 50% of the recommended dose consisting of 50/50 veg/flowering nutes. So pretty much up to date with the diaries now. This is my first grow so I would really appreciate any advice, tips and pointers from the experts here :)
