Week 5 - 2nd feed and also 2nd time they’ve been Boom Boom Sprayed. Looking good and the growth is starting to pick up! 💚

Hello guys, Here I am again to present you a new run, still with the best leds of the market nevertheless as I changed my growing space from 120x120 to 150x150. So I had to update the material inside... I will run with 3 EVO 5-150 lamps of 320W or 960W with Bluetooth dimmers. For the Hydro system, it will be the V-SYSTEM from Alienhydroponics. In fertilizers I am always with Advanced Nutrients. I work with osmosis water. Currently, 4 clones took on 4. Once the roots are ready, I will transfer the cuttings from the propagator to the V-SYSTEM. ------------------------ since the 16/08, when I transplanted the plants in the RDWC system, I noticed some points that I will mention below and correct next time. 1. The cuttings are too small, allow enough time so that I can completely fill my pots with clay balls. 2. Cut out the bottom of the pots from the cuttings. 3. 3/4 of the cuttings are touching the water, so one is late. Next time when transplanting, add more water, up to the basket in order to immerse all the plants and not to create a difference between each one, consequence now I have 3 that are ready to explode and one that will struggle behind, problem corrected today by increasing the volume of water. 4. The b-52 is a real pain in the ass in RDWC, you have to clean the 2 filters almost every day, with this new soup I'm testing without and I think I'll continue like this just with the base sensi grow A and B, as I use Root rot X, I won't use voodoo juice since all the bacteria would be killed. 5. Use of Voodoo Juice is useless if using Root Rot X which will kill the bacteria. I don't know why but when I transplanted in the RDWC, I put my set up in growth mode, except that the plants were not ready for it, moreover, I made a FIM on each. So I lost some days, these last days I went back to a ppdf of 150, now that my roots touch the water, I declare growth 0 on 22/08, I will do between 21 and 28 days of growth. And as my roots are doing well and touching the water I'll go to a PPFD of 300 ++

so excited. They just keep stacking! Smell and stickiness is coming on now. Definitely get the pepper smell people have noted on the power plant. Some pistals going orange but as we're week 5-6 I'm ok with this. Best grow for me yet. Genetics and lights FTW!

These girls got lollipopped and a defoliation this week. I think having some more air flow at the pots level they'll get the dryback I'm shooting for. Now they'll also be able to focus all there energy on the top colas. All in all Happy Growing.

This week has been interesting. As i prommised last week i have upgraded the lights to just about 200w.tue to it being homemade i used what i had, the lights ended up being a colder tone. But more light is better i supose. Towards the end of the week there was a noticeable stretch, so there is finaly signs of flowering starting. Plants are looking really good. Started adding more potasium and phosphorus in preperation, before cuting off the nitrogen towards the end of the stretch. Any feedback is welcome, best way to improve is to learn from mistakes, but i feel like i am mising some of my mistakes.

Commencing Week 7: day 43 on January 12th Today I left the dirty girls (I call them that because they are in soil 😋) out of the tent for their first time in their lives to hang out with some new girlfriends (my photoperiod s). They seem very happy to be hanging out with them 👍👍 The other day I took one of my personal photoperiod Crosses and pollinated one of the bottom flowers of the bloody skunk, hopefully seeds will be coming soon :-) Today I started thinking about how much longer they have left and it seems the bloody skunk is nearing the finish Line already. In the beginning of this diary I wanted to achieve the goal of getting some autoflower seeds by taking one of the syrup strains and cross breeding it but none of my syrups strains made it from seed for some reason. So now I'm thinking about taking the top bud off of bloody skunk in the next week or two and letting the rest of the plant go through rodelization so I may still achieve that goal. We shall see. I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

In this week we want to top dressing with organic fertilizer and take microbe in soil or make compost tea use every 7-10 days and use CO2 at 1,600 ppm and boost PK with single ingredient cut loss about Nitrogen and plan to use protein hydrolysate for soil

Day 83 - end of week 4 flowering and everything thing going good , super easy to grow so far with no problems. They have started giving of a really sweet smell can’t wait to taste 👅

17 sept Maroc was chopped this week. The girl suffered from the endles rain we had last 10 days, enevitably she got mould. Not fully ripe, another week would have been best. Still some nice trichs and i will probably end up making hashish from this one. As do all off the female seed strains this year. The combination of early flower and the september rain this year took its toll. Biggest buds were harvested on wednesday and rest of plant saturday. Drying now in less than ideal conditions. Fingers crossed. Hoping for better weather for the weeks to come. Lemon kush and the others really needs some more sunshine to finish

Had some issues with extreme humidity, but I've managed to bring it all back down now with plenty of dehumidifiers lol. Was at 99% now I'm at around 60%. I removed the netting as I had to take all the plants out the tent, as run off water was collecting at the bottom and contributing to the high humidity. I haven't watered atall this week, as the high humidity has been keeping the soil moist on it own. Once it's dried out a little more I will water again. The plants seem to be handling it fine, I think I caught it early enough. Starting to see pistils forming now.
