Well this is it, the last week for this little mighty Kushberry. The buds came a long way this week, really darkening in colour and becoming hard as rocks and sticky AF. Oh and the smell?? Absolutely mouth watering purple berries. Trichomes are 100% cloudy and just starting to see reds so she's coming down this afternoon. Nothing really done throughout the week, just tracking the trichomes every few days to try and nail my version of the perfect harvest window.

A couple of weeks to finish line. Lovely trichomes all around the buds. The smell reminds me this strain's parent, Super Lemon Haze. It's awesome! Really happy with this grow 😊

9/2 allowin showing colors finally, getting purple I some fanleaves, she's smelling super sweet like berries 9/4 she's getting so so frosty. Shes growing/budding like a typical sativa. Super Long slender nugs with ridiculous amounts of frost/crystals covering all surrounding sugar leaf. Yet still small and slender actual bud formation. I am very impressed by the resin production so far though. (Sativas always look Impressive(crystals) but lack actual bud structure) Watered and introduced beastie bloomz to the mix instead of open sesame. Hoping to pack on extra weight. On a side note: the clone from this plant is flowering as well. I have limited the addition of most nutrients besides what was already in the soil. Its cool to note that the clone that hasnt been fed flowering nutes like the mother plant has, is lacking in smell, color and resin production, in comparison between feeding with open sesame vs not feeding besides water as needed. Its not surprising but i love seeing the proof

hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

Had to remove one plant because not enough space

8/5-After letting the bottom branches grow for another 4 days they were showing plenty of amber and had firmed up enough to harvest. Did a rough trim and hung the branches in Cannatrol Cool Cure to dry. 8/11-Overall the buds were a lot smaller than previous Mephisto grows. I'm going to let them cure for 2-3 weeks and then do a real taste test.

Day 53 in the morning and day 55 in the evening at sunset. The temperatures started to rise in the back half of the week. I also noticed that 2 leaves have a growth shooting out of the center vein of the leaf. I took a picture of it front and back. 😍

Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. All good here 👌🏻 Stretching nicely now. Still has short internodes too she should pack out lovely. Don't think I'll have any issues with any bananas anymore she's is all clear. No smell as of yet. Just that regular weedy hint. Used the sumo boost as a foliar spray aswell as root fed this week.

Growth is going great again The previous problem has been resolved. The yellowing of the leaves has not spread upwards I did a final defoliation this week. I didn't want to do an aggressive defoliation, I just removed the damaged leaves and those that were directly on the buds. This week it looks healthy, the buds are slowly thickening, I will slightly increase the dose of flowering fertilizer at the end of the week. It already absorbs three liters of water quite quickly and there is no water coming out of the pot, so I will increase it to four liters.
