🇺🇸 Grow Journal – Week 12 | Pineapple Upside Down (Veg) Week 12 of veg — the Pineapple Upside Down is cruising steady and looking stronger than ever. I’ve been letting her just do her thing, focusing on recovery and structure before deciding if I’ll top her later. At this stage, it’s all about patience and letting her build up natural vigor. Nutrient-wise, still running the Athena Blended line, holding the mix at EC 1.4. I’ve been experimenting with Athena Balance, and I have to say — it’s impressive. My base water pH usually fluctuates between 6.3 and 6.8, depending on the day. I add 1 ml of Balance, which actually brings it up close to pH 9.3. Once the nutrients are mixed in, the solution drops back down to around pH 7–7.2, and from there I fine-tune it with a touch of pH Down to land right around 6.0–6.1. I allow a gentle drift down to 5.8, but whenever it hits that mark, I bump it back up slightly to keep things steady around 6.1–6.2. Honestly, Athena keeps the reservoir incredibly clean — crystal clear every time. It’s one of those small details that really makes a difference when you’re running hydro long-term. Temperatures are holding around 22–23°C, with humidity between 70 and 75%, which keeps the environment perfect for steady vegetative growth. She’s lush, healthy, and just waiting for her turn in the flower tent — if I had more space, she’d probably be flipping already. That’s about it for this week — nothing flashy, just solid progress and patience. Can’t wait to see how she performs once she hits flower. Been soo busy, these girls are just doing their thing. Some are a lil pissed from the fans but they need the airflow. Better than mold. 10 are thirsty AF, 2 are not. I have gone through 48 gallons of water since last friday! Crazy!

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

First week of 12/12

Been keeping a close eye of everything this past week. I was fighting a little with humidity levels as they were staying around 70%. Picked up the Spider Farms Dehumidifier and been running for about 24 hours and got things staying at 60%. Still a little worried for later in flowering as I know Target is 40% so I’ll just continue to work on adjusting levels as needed. I trimmed up the plants a little to increase airflow and also pull out the light controller and ran it outside the tent. The 1st couple days of flowering I ran into an issue as my temperature probe went out and caused my AI controller to not be operable so had to do things manually for the first few days. Ended up splicing some wiring and got things working (ghetto but worked lol) until my new cord arrived. Switched over to Advanced Nutrients and picked up their Starter Box, excited to see how things go as I’ve heard nothing but great things. Started with a lower dosage to get things going. Hoping to see some real growth this coming week! I also started germinating some seeds for my next grow so should be starting a new dairy when those sprout.

Most definitely a great strain to have in your garden if you want some color. Yield isn’t much but the flowers make up for that. I wish this strain had some more funk to it. MXOP is doing fantastic she is reaching for the stars! Her twisted sister is just as healthy now and flourishing. They are ready to go into flower but I want to fill out the tent/scrog first They are giving off a nice aroma already! Week 8, Things smell heavy🤤 Watered NL's 2L with 0.5ml/L Bloom and 3ml/L Topmax. Sb1 got 2L with 0.5ml/L AlgAMix, 0.5ml/L Bloom and 0.3ml/L Grow. Sb2 got 1.5L same Bloom and AlgAMix. (Day 50) Checked NL 1, give her about 6 days to harvest. Ph was to low on her, did too much Training and bad Environment. Learnd very much, thank you little buddy Waterd NL's 1.5L Water (PH 6.5) Sb got also 1.5L but with 0.5ml/L alg and topmax ( Day 52) very worried about SB 2 Flushed her today, should do this earlyer runoff ph was about 5 Sticky Beast back on track lets call her 👌‍♂️ NL'S trichomes getting more milky, not so far from yielding✂️ (Day 56) gave both Northern lights 1500ml and Sticky beast#1 1000ml Water. Ready for week 9? (Day 57)

Day 87. Thought will be trim jail with her, but nugs formmed very nice, think she was most mature from this run. All trim for bubble hash, rest hanging, two rows of colours and sparks ! ;) Day 97. 98 g. went for curing Happy Growing !
