Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one

I had yellow tips starting beginning week 6, I reduced my feeding to 3/2/0 (Grow/Bloom/TopMax) for one watering, then went 4/3/1 as written on the report.

Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! Day 22-28 / Week 4 This week I had to give them more space and topped them to make use of the space. The I had to reduce the dry intervals and increase the spraying time to match their needs. Captain slow got his problems with the feeding schedule, but I’m not going to let the others suffer for him. Hope he managed to catch up over the next 2-3 weeks, to move them to the flowering space and flip them all at once. Maybe he gets another week, if I need the time to fill up the scrog. Overall nothing special. Just the 2 week maintenance with filter cleaning and some of the nozzles got cleaned aswell, because they clog up from time to time. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Starting week 11 the heat wave is gone and the conditions lately have been perfect! The bud are forming nicely and the smel is strong but my diy carbon filter does a great job! Sticking with the same nutes and ph around 5.8. One of the two is slower than the other but comming along just fine

She’s been worked hard with the feedigs recently so got a plain ph’d rinse today to wash out any lingering mineral buildup. No big deal, no issues, just preventative. This grow is going to be nute sched. heavy and will hopefully test the limits of my smaller grow space (2sq/ft). 🦆**Grow Report by Zuppler - Week 6 Flowering Phase**🏆🏻 Ayo, what’s poppin’, fam? Zuppler back with that Week 6 flowering update, straight from the heat. We hittin’ the late stages of flower, and the girls are still stackin’ up them buds, but I had to make a few adjustments this week. Caught a little leaf burn – nothin’ major, just a sign the nutes were hittin’ too hard. So I dialed it back a bit, gave ‘em a lighter mix to keep things in check. I also switched things up with the feed – swapped out Big Bud for Overdrive. Figured it’s time to really push these girls through the finish line, and Overdrive’s gonna help bring out that extra weight and resin in these last weeks. So far, they’re takin' it well, no stress. The buds are still thickening up nice, and trichs are gettin’ cloudier by the day. The whole grow room’s smellin' loud now, like someone cracked open a stash. Temps and humidity still locked in, keepin' everything balanced while they finish out strong. We’re cruisin’ towards the end, just lettin’ these ladies do their thing. With the nutes adjusted, I’m expecting them to bounce back from that slight burn and finish up real clean. A few more weeks, and we’re lookin’ at a solid harvest. Zuppler out. Leaves started to grow bigger so definitely the 10€ light bulb is working, nevertheless I'm expecting to be much slower than what it should take to an autoflower to grow.
