Hi Growmies, we reached week 9 of blooming and the HighCloudz is almost ready for harvest ✌️I plan to let her bloom for another 7 days at least, and after this I let the trichromes tell me if it's harvest time. My microscope is broken and I'm waiting for a new one to arrive. So hopefully I have the chance to do a closer inspection in a few days. Apart from my mistake in nutrition in week 6 and 7 I'm very happy with this round. The buds look delicious and covered with resin. Can't wait to get a taste 😍 🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update Allright! I received my new microscope in the mail and checked out the trichromes. Turns out a lot of them are still transparant. Just goes to show that it's dangerous to rely on the brown pistils to determine if the plant is ready for harvest. And the funny thing is that she's forming new calyxes again. We will have to see if she's ready for harvest by the end of this week. And if not I just give her another week to reach her full potency 👊

Buds get denser everyday, love em. From next watering (W13 D3) I will start providing blackstrap molasses in every feed.

The 2 GSC extreme and one of the GG4 got harvested this morning Dec 20th. The rest are a week or two behind.

Adding SLF 100 and Calmag to feeding. Although everything seems good, I'm going from tap to RO to have maximum control over my PPMs or TDS. Buds are really developing nice and she is still stretching. I appreciate any suggestions. ( Running CalMag, Photosynthesis Plus, and SLF 100)

WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. This week is packing on some nodes insane! Starting to get a little resin production going going to look like some fat nugs off this plant! Just been doing straight water with molases 2 tablespoons a gallon amping those sugars threw the roof for those oils in the plant! Burned it a lil bit pushing it to the max but seems to be fine packing it on. Has a crazy smell to it idk where to put it yet. Stay tuned stuff is gana get fat and frosty!!!

2019.01.05 - ShishkaBerry Clones Day 97 / Flowering Day 45. Looks like about 2-3 weeks to to go AND THEY SMELL AMAZING! I had a brush with nutrient burn a few days ago but they're recovering nicely. These are very hardy plants, very strong and healthy. Most of the colas are about 15 inches (38 cm) tall, but #5 is 23 inches (58 cm) and it's on the verge of falling over due to the weight (YAY!!) Some of the pistils are starting to brown & I've given them their final haircut. As this is my first "real" grow, I'm not sure how to estimate what the final yield may be but I'm hoping for 50 grams per plant per the clone producer. 2019.01.09 - ShishkaBerry Clones Day 101 / Flowering Day 49 (video) - two of them are top heavy to the point I've rigged a little cord around the stalks and Velcro-anchored them to the wall. I find that the trichomes of this strain are much smaller than the unknown bagseed I last grew. Do they naturally vary by strains or have I done something wrong?
