As for the ground - worked for 99%. Water+organic stimulants = great set-up. Saw a bit of an excess of nutrients, I will take that into account next time. 120 grams of flowers not including trimmings, yes, there are some sugar leaves - and I'll keep those :))

Recovered well from the defoliation on day 21 of flower. Pretty much plain sailing from now on as stretch has stopped and only need a few heads and maybe remove the odd leaf.

Beutiful hard diesel, she's growing super fast and looks like she's even happier after the transplant to her definitive 11l pot, let's see how this wonderful lady keeps developing, she's being fed with nothing but water since I grow using Florian's living organics (living soil blend) tomorrow this wonderful lady is gonna be flipped into flower finally. As said this lady has been flipped into flower under the light schedule 12-12 on February 15th so now we're gonna se a beautiful stretch before actual flower starts

What a world of difference a week can make when growing auto-flowers. I did a lot of maintenance on these girls the last couple of days. See pics and videos. Two of the plants have stretched out nicely. The other three are falling behind, but looking very nice. There is a strong citrus smell happening right now. Smells like I have a tent full of fresh lemons. Started using Big Bud and Bud Candy this past week. Tent 2as getting quite crowded, so I also moved the water reservoir on the outside of the tent. It was very hard to cut a lot of those beautiful buds off the plants, but I think it will pay off. I also got the new Vivosun Grow Cams, so far I like them, but I do have some feed back.

Week 6 Summary: First off, Happy New Year! May the new year filled with peace, love, joy and dank buds! 😄😉 Day 36-39: Despite my heavy defoliation they seem to bounce back quite quickly every time, but this is my first grow so I could be completely wrong and slowly murdering my plants... 😅 WC1 starting to frost up, the two double buds are starting to split themselves up while stretching: WIN! WC2 and WC3 really starting to show their size compared to just a week or 2 ago, really spread out now, and starting to stretch. Day 40-42: WC2 and WC3 really stretching now. WC2 almost catching up to WC1's height, and has probably spread out the most out of all plants when you compare it to a few weeks ago. Maybe defoliating is a good thing for Autos after all? I'm stoked about these. Although WC2 and WC3 are a few days behind of frost production it's definately starting to show itself by the end of week 6. Stoked for these!! These are stinking aswell, but for now the 4AM in the tent is sweetening it up! On to week7!!!

Ok guys so she was bushy again and so we did defoliation again. You can see the difference and then after that started flowering even more Plus the fact we are increasing the amount of molasses added to the soil plus the floranova bloom nutes. They are very thirsty girls, taking around 1.5-2lts per 48 hrs So almost like a 1 liter per 24 hrs Very good SoG to make them feel even more comfortable Going to change schedule from 24/0 to 19/5 and see if they evolve! Thinking about adding some humus to the soil as well, other than that they have been under good conditions Temp is steady at day time around 24C top and night time is 18-19C minimum RH around 45-60% Mostly 45% control environment with AC Cant wait to see big colas coming soon! First day under led lights after receiving the fresh cuttings. All of them are healthy but unfortunately is the night temperature at the moment a bit to low. All lights are dimmed; the sunlight leds on the lowest setting and the Cree cobs around 20%. Output watts for all leds is at the moment 280W. PAR readings coming up in the next days 💡 Now the PAR readings: 3x3 measurements at plant tip. Front row to the back. Measurements in mmol/m2s with the quantumsensor from apogee. 400,570,400,550,620,610,410,470,410. Around 500 in average.

⚠️ This is my worst week in growLife ⚠️ we started with harwest, cos i'v found a few days ago, first mites.. Actualy was too late, and only one option what can we do is - harwest. Ať the moment we are few days to go, but IF we gonna wait and grow thoose couple days until they reach 100%, mites gonna be everywhere... OHH YES, TGEY ARE KNOW AS Well, we already threw away 2 plants, cos two of them were totaly full with milion of eggs, everywhere, leafs, buds etc, that way we need to chop all of them a save Max as possible. This "grow school" - lesson, is pretty hard, hurts and of course -€ as well. Plants do need us every Day and, i need to read more again, i have to watchout them múch better. AT the moment we still choping, and yesterday we Just moved all of Tangie's in Tent 2,2mx1,1m, cos they need i think 2 weeks more. We gonna test and watchout strictly this tent... Thoose fuckin mites are everywhere, i found them in small tent as well, where we have automatics... This is really 😬 Guys, i wish You all, that this my own mistake are enough for you to learn from... 🙋‍♂️ Ohh yeah next tíme we gonna vegetative phase 4 weeks, this one was only 2 weeks.. ⚠️

I originally started this diary only for my own reference but I'm so pleased to have learned that others have found it helpful or interesting, for whatever reason. So, without further ado: Jan 19 Day 105 Harvest day! 🎉🎉 Not really knowing how to tackle the situation, I started by cutting all of the fan leaves I was able to reach. Then, I cut each branch working from the perimeter inward - which due to the way she grew, was essentially the same as working from the bottom branches of the meristem to the top. Each branch was cut, cleaned, and handled individually before moving on to the next. Decided to wet-trim most of the branches, leaving 4 fairly untouched (only fan leaves were removed). Will be interested to see the differences, if any. They're all drying/hanging near the grow tent ~45%RH, 72F (22C). It isn't completely dark though, as some light is escaping the tent into the closet where they are hanging. I'm hoping this isn't terrible but I'll be keeping my eye on them. The process took the better part of an evening but I was cautiously learning, taking breaks, and generally being fairly slow. I'm sure I'll be faster and more confident next time. Jan 27 Day 113 Drying is complete, I think. Branches were hung and dried for 8 days in a consistent 68F (20C) 40% RH. They were determined to be dried after hearing a snap when bending (not breaking) large stems and buds felt dry to touch. Sugar leaves bordering on crispy while buds still had some give / fluffiness. The flowers from previously manicured branches were relatively easily plucked. However, the dry trimming process for the unmanicured branches proved to be a bit of a pain. They have been placed in a pyrex container to cure. I'm hoping flavors and aromas that are currently lacking will develop in time. 🤞 --- Stats --- Veg time: ~45 days. Flowering time: ~60 days. Height ~18in., ~46cm. Main Bud Length: ~9in., 23cm. Harvested 16 Hangable branches and a few extra medium/small buds. Bud Wet Weight, with stems: 242g, ~8.5oz. Larf/Popcorn Sugar-leaf Wet Weight (not counted above): 18g, ~0.6oz. Leaf/Waste Wet Weight: 38g, ~1.3oz. Drying time: 8 days. Dried Weight with Stems: 70g, ~2oz. Trimmed and Dried Total Bud Weight: 50g, ~1.75oz. --- Thoughts in hindsight --- Firstly, I can't believe I haven't tried growing sooner. So rewarding in so many ways! My initial hope was to harvest an oz., so I am obviously quite happy we could surpass that mark by a good margin. This is a testament to the plant more than me of course, as I was completely inexperienced and was purposefully as hands-off as I could be comfortable with throughout her growth. I can only imagine things will improve with time. Paper-towel germination seems to be prone to more stress for myself and arguably the seedling as well. Floating in 1% H2O2 solution seems to be ideal for me. I made bad soil choices. This mixture seemed to be too dense, leading to some watering/strangulation issues mid-growth. My 2nd grow consisting of mostly coco coir seems healthier and seems easier to maintain proper hydration. Coco might also be reusable while this soil definitely seems spent now. I didn't respect pH at first and initial testing was eye-opening. That said, after simply testing water and fertilizer readings a few times, I gradually felt more comfortable with guestimating during most feedings, only testing sporadically later in her life cycle. This seemed to be fine and was a bit of a relief after early testing proved tedious every feed. I've been happy with Better-Gro orchid fertilizer. This is of course contrary to most advice, which I admit is probably for good reason. That said though, I didn't notice any major toxicities or deficiencies during her grow. So, these products seem to have worked for me and are so much more affordable than cannabis-specific fertilizers. I was quite weary about not having cal-mag, but this never seemed to be an issue in this particular case. However, I'll be keeping a similar eye on my 2nd grow in coco, which I understand may need it. Training and pruning is important. This plant was quite bushy and wild likely resulting in quite a bit of unnecessary larf/popcorn. Not to mention the additional time needed to trim when harvesting. Also regarding training, pipe cleaners can leave noticeable cuts in the stem they hold. Thickly coated flexible garden wire would likely be ideal. I need to get a loupe or magnifying attachment for the phone. Digital zoom with shaky hands is not great for checking trichomes and my 3x magnifying glass just doesn't cut it. I cannot speak toward potency or yield without more experience, but simply for the sake of a greener hue, I think I could've harvested her a week earlier. Because I left a few branches untended during dry, I was able to experience both the wet and dry trimming processes. Unless keeping leaves for extra humidity during drying, I seem to prefer wet trimming as the still supple leaves were easier to remove with less bud handling. This was my last grow during the winter ever, its too hard for me to keep the room warm, the plants suffered and less yield then my other blue dreams i grew in the past.

D13 - BOOM! The new #1 had made her modest appearance. Only the top of the seed is visible so far, but it's a start. :) #2 is moving along nicely, quietly doing her thing. D14 - #1 is still shy and hasn't fully emerged yet, but she is at least poking up more than yesterday, so there's progress at least. #2 is doing great, and I like her structure. Short and stout with large leaves and very short internodal spacing. She is 7 cm tall but already 11 cm wide. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - No idea what is going on with the first girl, but it sure isn't much. The seed has maybe emerged for another two millimeters from the soil, but that is it. The seed hasn't cracked, and no leaves are visible. Hell, I can hardly see the stem. Yesterday, I gave each girl about one liter of the compost tea that I started a couple of days ago. Let's see if that helps, although, at this point, I kind of doubt it. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. The second girl looks great, though, so that's something at least. D20 - Alright, it is official. The third girl died as well. The seed never cracked, and the stem went limp. I have no idea why this happened, and now I'm out of Colorado Cookies seeds, so that's that. I have already planted another seed to see if the problem persists with another strain. I will make a separate diary for that one, though. On the positive side is that the remaining girl looks strong and healthy. She is now 9 cm tall and 18 cm wide on this last day in week two of veg. Upwards and onwards!

Hi growmies, Been a couple busy weeks with personal stuff and wasn't sure if I was going to be here to carry on my diaries.... however I am back!!!and free to carry on 🤫. As you can see purple lemonade is coming along very nice indeed her aroma is beautiful and her look is outstanding.. Just started to flush her out for next couple weeks and will see from there how we get on. But as my first hydroponics set up I am happy with my current look and speed to process thumbs 👍 👌 😀 up..
