Last week it was time to harvest Jack Herer Auto - the number of amber trichomes was getting too high for my taste. Unfortunately my chronic illness flared up massively, making it very difficult to get the harvest done in time. After everything was done and the last bud chopped down, I switched off the camera that I quickly threw on the tripod to film the defoliation and harvest, I realized, I have completely forgotten to take any before photos. So, there aren't any. All you get is 2 videos and two photos post harvest. There might be some additional photos and videos when trimming the buds and some of the grove bags for curing. Other than that, Jack Herer grew tall and beautiful, sativa dominant in structure, with plenty of bud sites, trichomes and terpenes - but the buds ended up being quite airy, larfy. Not sure if that's due to the heat wave and higher temps before that. It's not the end of the world either, the buds are super sticky, they smell absolutely delicious, and I'm sure they'll be very tasty.

Going to post a few grow questions about DLI. I’m confused about calculating with inter canopy lighting. Cultivator series blended. Dropped tasty terps to conserve for flowering.

Day 57, 05.06.2024 - Starting the next week of flowering which brings me up to 3 weeks until harvest - There will be watering & nutrition today. I expect the plants getting more and more yellow as they approach their lives end Day 58, 06.06.2024 Today I learned: Double-check for open vents of your tent should be mandatory! "Well, isn't that obvious?" you might ask and yes - I guess it is. But not to me :) Background: I was struggling with a) getting the humidity down and b) keeping the smell in. Turned out I forgot to close the vent behind the charcoal filter which lead to venting air from the outside to the inside & of course sucking smelly air out of the tent. However, since this issue was fixed, there is no problem with smell or humidity anymore. Others than this there was no action today. Day 59, 07.06.2024 - removed 2 yellow leafs - Another round of drinks for the girls (600ml with 4/4/4ml) - sit back and relax Day 60, 08.06.2024 No action today, but the BioBizz CalMag arrived. I will give it tomorrow to them. Day 61, 09.06.2024 A round of drinks with nutrition (4/4/4ml Grow, Bloom and TopMax) and also (first time ever) 1,2ml.of CalMag. Leafs showed signs of certain deficiencies so I decided to use it. Let's see how this turns out! Day 62, 10.06.2024 No action today. Day 63, 11.06.2024 Water & Nutrition (4/4/4ml Grow, Bloom and TopMax) for the end of the week. I am looking forward to week number 10 which should be the second to last week of this grow - I am quite excited!

Day 50 last day of the dense nut the pm is at 5.8 and the ppm is at 270 all looking good put a ac in there today will run with light on for next week or so Day 51 first day of flush!!! Ppm at 50 ph at 6.0 I found other top flower with bud rot on the big plant this time humidity is to high in there 60% now don't have a dehumidifier and it's lot of wet days this week any tips to lower it with out one just more air moving? Day 55 I think it is done I'm going to gave it lots of cold from the ac and tern light out Earley tonight and cut tomorrow im thinking 🤔 Note the smell of the small plant in the back is bark purple and smells tropical so good where the other 2 smell like dank skunk and gas ⛽ so strange

Day 42, everything is chuggin along pretty healthy. Definitely some seeds in most of them which bugs me. The whole tent reeks tho which is nice. Some of the citradellics look like they are gettin pretty close so I'll start keeping an eye on them. I had to take the pics again and was strugglin so they arent my best. I have to go thru them still so I got the video up and tmm or as soon as possible I'll get the still shots up✌️ 1 is seeded but healthy, havnt really smelled it but its sticky af. The plant has a beautiful structure but the buds are kinda ugly lookin despite the pink pistils. 2 is tryin to make it's way it's got some hideous lookin leaves but they are kinda cool in person they are the thickest leaves I've ever seen and the stems of the actual leaves are thick and almost perfect rectangles.

I decided it's harvest time for this amazing lady.. Cos she lived on balcony I don't know yet about her ready to use weigh but I gues around 40g dry. Will see in about a week 🙏🌱👀 So I will chop her, and make she ready for drying in RQS hemp dryer. Now I know for a myself that yes u can easily grow half in growbox and flowering outside if needed, 😉 When more ongoing I will update 🙏💚🌱 Happy growing 🙏🌱💚

Let’s start off with they are doing great 🔥 I bought a new light for flower the Mars hydro fc e6500. I also bought a ac infinity cloudline t4 inline fan with a carbon fliter. I transplanted these ladies in a 10 gallon and added Gia green 2-8-4 . Cant wait for the next couple weeks let’s go 🤟🏾

Fractal week 17 7/ 22-28 This week has been rainy so the outside girls only got watered and fed once. with all the rain we've had, all the girls grew a bit. I top dressed all girls with Bloomin Soil from Elm Dirt. Photo Fractal is now 49 inches and stacking nicely. Happy girl means happy mom.

Starting to follow a feeding chart that I’ve put together myself, but they’re looking great so far it’s working out pretty good. Everything is green, luscious and healthy.

Morning of day 14- tops look dry but it’s just the very surface. They took a little longer than I wanted to dry out. The weather has been cold windy and rainy, not much sun lately, and we are still about a month away from our potential last frost date. Farmer’s Almanac says last frost date is May 30th or something crazy, even though the days are normally rather warm by now. I haven’t fed as of Day 14 because they are not dry enough, there is plenty of amendments in the pot, especially towards the bottom, except I will still spoon feed a little bit. I just rehydrated the tops as they were really dry at least 1-2 inches of the tops were dry, but the bottoms are still plenty wet, so with clean water in a spray bottle, I just lightly rehydrated the top a lil, so I might be feeding tomorrow for day 15, but I don’t know yet. Keeping the tent around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and only about 25-30% RH. This helps me compensate for the lack of heat provided by the LEDs and help the plants adapt to a higher water demand. I haven’t seen the low humidity effect the seedlings, intact all the plants that grow outside in the hot bone dry climate LOVE IT! They were praising all last year. So to help keep me away from damping issues and to better prepare the little ones for the outdoors, I’m trying to match a hot and dry environment in the tent. With VPD levels way up in the red, I have yet to experience a negative impact. I have damped off enough plants in my life, it’s a lot harder for me in 60-70%RH to water the plants and get them to dry out fast enough in the tent with cold LEDs.

🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸– Week 5 – Mother Gorilla (Royal Queen Seeds) Week 5 Summary This week didn’t go as planned. I switched nutrients, and the plant didn’t respond well, possibly due to overfeeding. I probably should have transitioned more gradually to avoid stressing it. Nutrient Issue • Previously used: Formulex • New nutrient: Ionic Hydro Grow • Possible cause: Ionic Hydro Grow has a higher concentration of nutrients than Formulex. The sudden increase may have stressed the plant. • Symptoms: The new leaves are showing signs of damage, which could indicate nutrient burn. Typically, deficiencies affect older leaves first, so it seems more like an excess—but I can’t say for sure. Corrective Actions • Diluted the nutrient solution to lower the EC. • Initial EC: 2.6+ (but my tap water already has a high EC, so the actual nutrient EC is hard to determine). • New EC: Below 2, but again, since my starting EC is high (around 0.8-0.9), it’s difficult to get an exact reading of the nutrient contribution. • pH adjusted to 5.9-6.0. Current Conditions • Light schedule: 18 hours • Humidity: 70% • pH: 5.9-6.0 • EC: Below 2 (but actual nutrient EC remains uncertain). Next Steps • Observe the plant and see if it recovers. • Adjust the next nutrient mix carefully to avoid overfeeding. • Continue light training (LST), but growth has slowed due to stress. Hopefully, the plant will bounce back. Those buds are rock solid and so heavy. I can't belive how frosty they are. It is almost done now. it is a 60-70 day flower and this is 56+ days. I am watching the trichomes and will chop at 25% amber.

Week 12. Starting week 5 with a big smile. Day 80. Become bigger Nd bigger. Smelling like grapes. Start with new booster - bloombastic only 5ml to 10L all the way to the wash. Lets see the results at the end, by comparing it to my last grows. Day 83. Extra calmag.

Another Great Week Down! The ladies are looking great, these Orange Sherbets are a little ahead of the Six Shooters The stretch is REAL. Hahaha Everything going fairly smooth besides not being able to get this pH down a little. I have burned their tips a few time trying to flush with a high ppm low pH solution. Gave both these girls approx 46 hours darkness before the chop but wish I hadn't. All it did was cause all the sugar leaves to dry out and make the trim so much more work haha!

Easy grow and the overall quality is great. I feel like I definitely could yield way more if I did way more training. If included trim and shake, this planted yield 2 ozs which isn’t bad for sharing space with 3 other plants in a 2x2 space. I have a few more seeds of this strain and will be growing them again definitely. I’ll catch yall on the next one ☝️🏾
