WEEK 16 - (06/13/2021 - 06/19/2021) Week 8, Day 50 - FLOWER: 06/13/2021 After inspecting the trichome development for the last 7-10 days or so, I’ve decided that today would be the ideal time to begin flushing. The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too. Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉ + pH Up: 7ml Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 895/800, 6.1 pH AP#1 - 529/434, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 365/270, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 624/529, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021 Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there. I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. Wizard Fuel - Wizard Trees Day 48 - Watered with 2L of RO tap water with nutrients mixed individually and in order, then finally pH'd to 6.3, watered over three phases to allow the water to penetrate the soil slowly. She is still in her stretching phase, so I haven't done anything with her just yet. The topping I performed on her a week or so before I put her into flower, has allowed her to grow a nice even canopy with six distinct stems. When she finishes her stretch, I will lollipop her and defoliate to improve both light penetration and airflow 👍🏻

11/1: I started a pair of each of the Wicked Stix beans, but had a couple of failures and ended up planting a Berry Bomb and a GG4 as replacements. Sucrose Overdose (aka "Sugah") seeds are derived from a legendary InHouse Sugar Cane plant. They are F2's, selfed from possibly the frostiest cannabis plant on earth..so I'm pretty anxious to see how they, and her hybrids, do in my garden. Muscadine Wine seeds are derived from a strategic cross between a delicious InHouse Black Cherry Punch and the aforementioned, legendary Sugar Cane plant. Platonium seeds are derived from a strategic cross between a really gnarly InHouse Platinum Jelly and the aforementioned, legendary Sugar Cane plant. Sucrose Breath / aka "Sugah Bref" seeds are derived from a strategic cross between a spectacular InHouse Velvet Breath and the aforementioned, legendary Sugar Cane plant. Fed them for the first time and started foliar feeding with Microlife Super seaweed.

Gu Guys, she is continuing to develop as she should, however doesn't seem to be stretching all to much even with lower light intensities. I have therefore decided to push the ppfd to roughly 600 and let her finish her pre flower, no matter if she will fill the entire scrog or not. the roots are bit stained, however, this seems to be nutrient related, no slime or smelly roots thus far and it seems like she is constantly shooting out new ones from the net pot. She is going to be a nice little bonsai bush :)

THURSDAY 7/18: She really perked up in the sunshine with the boom boom spray and kelp dosing, so I put her outdoors again at first light today. I also re-planted her in the same cup, but I put about 2 centimeters of coarse perlite in the bottom along with another handful of soil. Her tiny lower branches are finally getting some light! I'll start training her a bit now, and I should be able to FIM her tomorrow or the next day. She's in direct scorching sunlight for 8 hours a day and about 8 inches below a 40w Sansi 4000k LED and a 75w LED panel (6500k/460nm 1:1 ratio) for 16 hours a day, I'll dial it back to 22-hour days at the first sign of flowering and swap out the blue/white panel for an all 660nm red panel(or two), and continue to gradually decrease her nighttime until harvest I've also got a little 20w spotlight with a Cree chip that's tuned to 3000k that I'll probably hammer her "massive" cola with as she starts to ripen up.😎 SUNDAY: She was looking a little bit haggard after yesterday...I think the sun is beating her up too badly. With such a tiny amount of soil, I think the roots are getting way too hot, even being in a cup within a cup wrapped with duct tape. Today, I'm leaving her indoors under the LEDs, but considering putting her cup inside another solo cup without any drainage holes, and setting that cup into pot of water with a fresh "blue ice" pack so as to keep the root temperature down...and replacing the blue ice pack every couple of hours while she's outdoors...or maybe I'll just take a pot and fill it with some of the orange-red clay that I find when I dig down a couple of feet..create a solo cup sized hole in it so that she has a surrounding layer of clay to keep her cooler during the day...not sure.. I foliar fed her and mixed about 4 grams of Bactrex into a jug with 3/4 gallon of bottled water and douched all my plants with about 2 pints each, except her...she got about 6 oz. of solution. That should really get the beneficial bacteria and fungus kicked into overdrive. I started brewing a 4 gallon batch of compost tea today. Since I don't have any Orgatrex, I am using a little Big Bloom, Kelp Me Kelp You, and Grow Big in the tea in addition to the PK Compost Booster tea from Bio Tabs. I'll add Mycotrex to it about 2 hours before it finishes and thoroughly dowse them all tomorrow morning. MONDAY: Today, after I FIM'd her, I decided to move her outdoors into a semi-shaded spot, with the rest of the girls during the day. To deal with the heat on her roots, I decided to just bury the larger solo cup (no drainage holes or soil in it) up to the rim in a 3 gallon pot full of soil. This will allow me to easily bring her indoors every (or every other) night to soak up more light in my cabinet. The plant's roots will never have any access to the other soil, but I'm hoping that if I keep that outer soil wet it will hold the root temperatures down in the soil inside the cup. If it turns out that her roots are so strong that they "break through" the plastic to get to the outer soil, I'll either remove the plastic and drop out of the contest, or just bring her indoors permanently.😁 She got some freshly brewed compost tea this morning along with a foliar feeding...a major pain in the ass to lug a 5-gallon pail down to the site...maybe I'll invest in a small solar panel and 12 volt battery and inverter so I can do the brewing on site...

04/09/2023 Still no fertilizer, I'm just removing the yellow leaves that are falling off almost on their own. I should probably harvest them at different times based on their trichomes, but I'll have to dry them in my growbox, so I'll harvest them all at once, probably next week. I'm checking the trichomes every day, and the trichomes on the sugar leaves on plant number 1 are already starting to turn brown since 02/09

Can't complain with another good week! More pistils are starting to turn orange and buds are looking good and healthy, I've got no burnt tips and so im guessing the nutrient mix is balance nicely after removing the silica after it kept reacting with the mix. Done another defoliation to get that light where it's needed, im very happy with these two plants as they are only my 2nd and 3rd plants I've ever grown. Thanks for stopping by✌️

La humedad anda entre 55% la temperatura está entre 22/23 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . AgroBeta: 0,8 ml x L Growth black line , vía radicular. 0,2 ml x L Tucán , vía radicular. 0,15 ml x L Flash Root , vía radicular. 0,05 ml x L Gold Joker, vía radicular. . Chopped on day 73. The last plant in this diary still growing is Mix pack #1.

Both the girls are doing very well and are continuing to stretch. No problems at all from either one of the plants. They deff started sprouting there pistols and where Alaskan purple fell behind in veg, she is now ahead in the flowering stage. The bottom leaves shrivelled which I am aware this will happen during this stage so I cut them off and there is a little nutes burm on Alaskan purple so the next two feedings will be with distilled water with pH of 6.5.

Ph controlado, intentaremos aguantar esa planta alguna semana más, las otra por lo menos aún le quedan un par de semanas. Ph controlado bajamos humedad a 35% y la temperatura la mantenemos por debajo de 27. Estas flores están cogiendo unas tonalidades increíbles, y empieza a desprender unos aromas brutales como a ácido.
