Well, this week has been eventful. What started with a fly deciding to lay eggs in my buckets with larvae swimming around and chilling on my roots turned into a bit of a disaster. I used very weak H2O2 (diluted 3% solution). To try and clean infestation, the roots didn’t like it, even though the actual concentration of H2O2 was probs less than 0.25%. Lesson learned 🙃 It has given some of them a touch of root rot (this is an assumption because I can’t figure out what else it could have been). So growth has stunted a lot. Just before the bug problem, I increased EC to 1.1, this was probably another mistake, the smaller girls at the back with a smaller root mass got massive lock out, potassium, mag and calcium by the looks of it, coupled with a few not so well timed PH swings out of the 5.5-6.5 range gave me a lot to combat this week. But, life goes on, they’re still alive (just about)... As this is probably the hardest curve ball I’ve had thrown at me since I started growing canna, I have cut back the EC to 0.56 to allow them to heal. Probably wrongly decided to top them all as they were growing past 7th node, either it’s gonna pay off, or I’ll be posting harvest details of 0g by this time next week 👽 I am on a stay at home holiday from work for the next 3 weeks, so looks like my babies are staying in the ICU and I’ll do my best to bring them back to life 😊

04/01/2023 - 56 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed Third week of bloom for my Banana 🍌🍌🍌 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - the girl responded well to the change in nutrients, so I continue to feed the same as last week when I adjusted the nutrients for flowering Jungle Environ X - bud stimulators 🌼 Bud Candy - bud stimulators 🌼 Atami - ATA Calmag - it is recommended to use Calmag when growing under LED lights I stopped the Hesi Root Complex - no longer recommended this week Training: LST: just a slight LST, I attached some small twigs with string to let more light shine on them 💡💡 Defoliation: I did more defoliation so that the leaves did not overshadow the already forming buds and the plant could breathe freely - Banana was not so leafy, but it still needed a good cut 🍃🍃 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000, the girls are doing amazing under this great light, I can see a big difference compared to my past results 💡💡💓 In general: The girl is very strong, she has a strong stem - trunk, that is the basis for a proper plant 🌴. It is a sativa, which is why it has the highest photoperiod in the tent. Buds are already forming at the ends of the twigs 🌸 and there are many branches 🌾. It resembles a small dense bush. TRICHOME CHECK was successfull.. Har har ok mostly milky. A lot of trychomes not ready.. Buds re not rock hard. Like you touch a dog. Not the fat ones i mean. And they grow up. Everyday. The buds. I mean theyre not the biggest. But i saw gelato buds spend in dispenserys (www). Who re smaller than mine. They grow up in height, tall and weight. Trichomes re the same as always... 😛 Har har.. GANJA THERE EVERYWHERE. STEAM. SOME LEAVES(heavy you can see there where she eats aphids. NO JOKE.(@sugarleaves) First trichomes surrounded it. Than one day later you see them stuck in some trichoms. Day 64: from seed. I am waiting for a few more squares to fill up before flipping to Flower. It won't be long now! I'm thinking I'll end up cutting this week short and flipping to Flower on Sunday. Plants are super healthy and are amazing bushes. I can't wait to see and smell their flowers! Day 65: URB foliar in the morning and Cal-Mag foliar in the evening. A little more tucking, but not too much. Feeding the heaviest dose yet tomorrow, but really not that much. I'm pretty sure they can handle it just fine and probably are looking forward to the added boost. Day 66: Fed feed week 7 nutes today and checked pH and ppm of runoff. pH was 6.4 and ppm was around 450. I think I'm pretty good on those readings. Today was a heavier feeding, so I'll check the runoff after next urb/cal-mag feed on Saturday. Did a bunch of tucking and sprayed URB after feeding and then cal-mag this evening. I have to say, I think foliar feeding is the way to go in addition to everything else. Day 67: Urb foliar in the morning and cal-mag foliar in the evening. I tucked a bit more and lowered the light to about 20" or so. I'll lower it to 18" over the next couple of days preparing for the flip.

The roots are well established in the 1L bags, and new growth is looking lush and vibrant. Started light LST to encourage lateral branching and even canopy development. They're drinking more now, so I’m adjusting watering frequency accordingly and alternating between fish tank water + Biodyne and a mild EHG Grow mix. Sprayed Neudosan as a preventative measure against spider mites picked up on Blue Cheese. No signs of pests or stress so far on the Supercheese clones. CalMag pellets are helping maintain strong leaf development and overall vigor. Planning to up-pot soon if growth continues at this rate. Another week in the books and significant growth as I increase dosage of nutrients, closer to 100% full dosage. I have read mixed messages about feeding every watering, to every other, to once a week...full strength, 1/2 strength, etc etc. I decided to ease into the nutes and work my way up, and feed only weekly. Less is more! Wait for her to get a little bigger and more mature and will feel better feeding at 100% full dosage. Did some more LST, pulling down higher stems and continue to build the table. Day 37: more growth; did some light defoliation to open up center; raised light to 18" (was at 15" in some spots) as it continues to grow. Day 41: more growth; transplanted into 5 gal fabric pot; installed ScROG and will continue veg stage until rest of the plant catches up to at least a few inches above the screen

This is the last week for our Tangerine Dream. The same like with my first two plants: bud rot because of very wet conditions. So here I already had experience to spot it early and I lost approximately some grams of the wet top flower. The week was simple. No water, three days no light at all. Life ends in our basement.
