All went well this week, apart from my phmeter breaking... I guess more two weeks of waiting. The colas are well developed, but the lower flowers ain't. But both are full of tricomes.

Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. it's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what mine gets.

All round great strain to grow , responds well to lolly popping technique , produced around 8/9 good main colas ,, covered in resinous terps with a strong earthy smell … I cannot wait to try this one she’s a beautifull looking plant DRSHOTZUK🍀🍀💚💚

Growing well, starting to see some trichomes development. This girl really stretched out, loving her size. Lots of bud sites, I think this PT will be my biggest producer out of the three I’ve grown. Smells very flowery and fruity, loving how vigorous this plant is growing.

Her stem is almost firm. I gave her 100ml of phd water before I repotted her and she looks like she is taking to the natural sunlight where she will remain for the meantime. For now I will wait until the pot is almost completely dry before I feed her!

Auch Sie wurden von 0,5l in 8l Grownest Stofftöpfe umgepflanz . Der PH Wert wurde angepasst auf 6.2 . Die Ladys sehen gut aus aber brauchen halt ein bisschen . Dazu bekommen Sie jetzt bei jeden 2 gießen die hälfe der angegebenen Dosis von Hesi Bio Grow mit halber Dosis Hesi Wurzelkomplex und natürlich auch Hesi Super Vit . Gießmenge gebe ich nicht an da Sie durch die außen Temperaturen gerne unterschiedlich trocknet . Need to keep the noise to an absolute minimum. So I'm trying a 6/2 light schedule in a hybrid closed system and only running extractor 15 mins 3 times a day( once per mid light on) hopefully this will keep temps fairly stable(seems to hold around 26⁰c) around week 2 I will add CO² bags....I assume I will need a dehumidifier in a few weeks.

Ogni varietà autofiorente della dutchfemseeds è una vera soddisfazione, continuano a riempirsi tutte di infiorescenze appiccicose e profumate e alcune colorate. Continuano a produrre resina e le infiorescenze si stanno gonfiando e indurendo molto. Alcune superano il metro e cinquanta centimetri di altezza, la maggioranza sono più di un metro e molto diramate e piene di infiorescenze. Se continuano così tra un paio di settimane iniziamo a raccogliere le più mature! Resistono molto agli afidi infatti sono meno presenti visto che la resina appiccicosa inizia a dare fastidio a tutti i parassiti quindi è un bene! Un abbraccio a tutti forza Dutchfem
