She had 2 be topped in her second week of rooting do 2 the top frying from to much light in young clone stage. Since the topping this lady has come 2 life!! She has been defoliated 4 times! Most recent defoliation 3/24! She spent her first month feeding just off nutrients in fox farm soil. On 3/2/22 I gave her her first Gaia Green trio feeding!! She has exploded with growth since!! She was defoliated on 3/27 again. She was given her second feeding of @gaiagreenorganics on 4/02. This lady was defoliated on 4/10 and 4/19 and 5/1. She received a all purpose/bloom feed of Gaia green on 5/2. She was also flipped to 12/12 light cycle on 5/2. She received a heavy defoliation on 5/29. 5/30 gave the girl a 15 tablespoon dose of Gaia green worm castings. Installed the new Marshydro Fc-4800 in the tent on 5/31!! The Jack Herer is dense and frosty colas, covered in trichomes with a nice mix of cloudy heads. Compared to the Northern Lights, it clearly had more weight and resin, making the harvest very satisfying. For the last days, I only gave CalMag and plain water adjusted to pH 6.3

I tried wettrim and drytrim to understand what i prefer. The wettrim dried inside dryferm bags inside a drybox with ventilation that i build myself. The drytrim dried inside the tent and got a trim after 9 days. Havent tried the buds yet since they have to cure first but they smell very lemony so far. Curing happens in grovebags. Half of the bags also got a boveda to see the difference if its worth it for the future or not.

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 10; Friday 23rd October: Nutes in with some LST and defoliation again. Diatomaceous Earth going onto the soil tops today to beat this thrips problem.. Sticky traps to catch the live ones. Glad I caught them fairly early as the girls still look ok. Raised my LED slightly today to give the girls a bit more room to grow and tonight I’m making my dehumidifier in a cardboard box solution to get the dehumidifier out of the tent to bring down the temps to a sensible level to deal with these thrips. I had no probs with thrips until the dehumidifier went in and raised the temps too much. So hopefully these small tweaks with get me back on track. Update same day: dehumidifier in a box method built, my handy work is in the pics, will update again tomz with humidity and temps checked to see if this shit worked! 🤞🏼🙏🏼 UPDATE: Day 4 of week 10; Sunday 25th October- Dehumidifier in a box idea was total shit lol but... I found that just rigging up the ducting to the dry air outlet and leaving the rest of dehumidifier in the open rather than in a box and then pumping that into the tent works much better than having the dehumidifier inside the tent. The plants have soooo much more room, fresh air and temps although slightly higher are not as crazy.. After careful inspection, I couldn’t see one thrip today and my sticky traps have lots of little bugs stuck on them 💪🏼🙏🏼... I’m pretty sure I’m not out of the woods yet, so to not disturb the Diatomaceous Earth in the soil bed I’m going to water them via the bottoms of the fabric pots for a few waterings to really ensure I cut those bad boy thrips to shreds 🤞🏼😎 Nutes will be going in too late tonight when I water them via the bottoms for the first time.. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 10 - Tuesday 27th Oct Girls looking good and the watering via the bottoms went better than expected.. So the Diatomaceous Earth can still do it’s job. Can’t see any thrips but I know they’re still there but no way near as many as before. Buds are still really small and in some areas look like they are beginning to turn orange already, I hope my LED is not burning them. I don’t think it’s that as some of the lower buds under foliage seem to have the same. Will keep an eye! Happy days 💚🍃🌱🙏🏼

Week 2 flower strain stretched about 5ft from flip to flower.

She is very close to harvest so fresh water flushing has started. If I had to describe her buds I would say they are very COARSE. The ovules are very large in diameter compared to any other strain I've grown. I left the tape measure visible in the video for scale. Good? Helpful?

Defoliation, lolypoping, rest stayed the same, feeding 1.9EC,raised up light to 500PPFD, looks fine but I am still nervous about lighter green color on some plants, thinking about lockout or CalMag def hope someone will guide me

Day 92.. Removed some more yellow leaves.. Just the ones that pretty much just fell off with slight tug.. I figure if it comes off that easily its probably not doing much else good and is gonna fall off soon anyway.. But still left some yellows that were still on pretty tight. The pics of the trichomes don't do much justice in my opinion. Its a 60x and I zoom all the way in with my phone camera.. I can spot a couple amber.. Not many but a couple.. I'm thinking another 2 weeks and there should be AT LEAST 5% amber.. If a little more than 5%,that's fine with me also.. The older calyxes are beginning to purple.. From the tips growing towards the base of each calyx.. The couple of amber trichomes I can find are in the purple parts of the calyxes. It seems almost like the calyxes that have white pistils are foxtails.. I could be wrong.. Its not alot but they are newer calyxes it seems.. I try not to check those trichomes cuz they arent even cloudy yet.. Anybody got their 2 cents on that??.... Day 93.. Happy 4/20/2020 you guys! I should have started this from the beginning.. But I'm going to start flushing with distilled water pH'ed to 6.1 - 6.3.. I already have some declorinizated (lol jk) (declorinated) tap water waiting to be pH'ed and used.. Not that disposing it wouldn't be losing out on much of anything. So, probably about the middle of this week, I should start using the distilled water.. Trying to get the runoff TDS as low as possible.. For AT LEAST a good 7 days.. The fan leaves are pretty much all sucked dry of their nutrients as far as I can tell.. The warmth has been causing the dying leaves to curl upward.. As they die.. Which I'm not too worried about.. The terpenes are still there.. Such a fun experience.. I'm thinking of using a few 32 OZ cups are start 2 Fast Buds Blackberry Autos and 2 Fast Buds Purple Lemonade Autos.. Make sure I get some purple buds this next time.. Like a little SOG 32 OZ cup thing goin on.. Just a thought.. Haven't got it all figured out yet.. Ive got 100's of seeds being safely stored in my refrigerator and ready to blossom into gorgeous lovely ladies! **just a stoned post today.. Lol... Happy 420!*** Day 94.. Just another flush day.. Gonna just use some tap water 6.2 pH and the TDS already reads 230-240 PPM.. But in another 2 days I should have started on the distilled water (0-10 PPM) also pH'd between 6.1 and 6.3 pH. 95 % of the stems, including the main stalk, are red.. It's pretty cool looking. The pics barely do any justice. The smells are intensifying, as well.. One gorgeous plant... Day 95.. Just such a GLORIOUS girl is all I can say.. The fan leaves have faded into red.. The stems turned red as fuck.. The calyxes are beginning to turn purple. I've got like 7 or 8 more of these seeds.. I can't wait to see the other phenotypes!!! Day 96!!! Damn this is taking for-fucking-ever.. Wtf.. Well I have noticed a few more amber trichomes! Finally!!! I can only spot some amber at the very top of each main cola. The bottom of each cola is still showing some clear/cloudy.. Lower branches still look a little clear/cloudy.. Hopefully, my timing is just right! So, so freaking gorgeous!!!.. She smells a bit musty.. Not like a bad rotten smell or anything.. But like a certain type of skunkish smell lol.. Not sure how else to try and explain it lol. I'm sure it will change during and after drying and curing.. Of course. But as of right now.. The smell is a little off to me.. Strong.. But not your typical cannabis sativa indica type smells. Still so in LoVe with this lady! Day 98.. Damn almost 100 days from seed.. Trichomes are gettin there.. There are alot of cloudy.. For sure some more amber since last week.. I think 1 more week would be perfect. Got colas floppin over lol.. I love that issue tho.. Still smells wretched lol.. But dank.. I stopped pH'ing the water because I am just using distilled water now. When I add 1 drop of pH down it takes it down to 5.2 or some super acidic number.. That's crazy.. I think it has something to do with distilled water not containing any ions in the water.. Some shit I read on the manual I that came with my Apera pH meter.. So I might use tap water that was ran thru a Britta Water filter next time.It brings my tap water from 230-240 PPM down to 160 PPM when ran thru this filter.. Plus my bottles are left with bubbles like tap water normally will leave.. And the filter brings the tap water down from like 7.7pH down to about 6.5 - 6.7 pH.. These little filters are kinda cool.. Now just hoping that they last.. I wish I had an RO filter but I dont and its almost impossible for me to get and use one here.. But this works fine for me. One thing I noticed tho.. Our city does NOT use chlorine... And they dont tell us what they use.. But it says on our yearly water testing records that they use a "non-chlorine sanitizer" whatever the fuck that is.. Shape Day … take many Leafs off Think 2 Weekend maybe I made a big mistake with her Her neighbour plant is 30cm bigger and Gas Late veggie period. I give the bigger plant water on the leafs and it fall ob the Main Cola of the smaller plant. Budrod. I Must cut 1 Cola off

Harvested a week early because of bud rot caused by calcium deficiency. I did a triple wash with hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and plain water to rinse. Note for future Coco needs a lot of calcium and magnesium. With constant drip system you need way less nutrients in solution. Check PH if you use calcium sulfate or silica!!! Once cured the weed has a good nutty smell with a little berry. It’s not very resinous, it has a good mind numbing effect but doesn’t lost more than one hour for 3/4 puffs, this is because of early harvest for sure because my previous crop was lot more potent.

What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides.
