This week's weather has been hot & humid with a few cold rainy days. These plants were given a top dress feed of Dr. Earth Vegetable & Flower Girl mix along with mushroom compost. Also added a molasses watering and BT foliar spray Nose: MP #4 - sweet cream MP #2 - coffee/chocolate, like bitter mocha GZ - sweet, rotting strawberries WC - sweet funk MP#1 & 3 - nothing noticable yet

I flushed the pots once this week. And use once with enhancer and a very small dose of shrot flowering fertilizer. And I tried very hard to lower the humidity and make the daytime temperature not more than 25 degrees 💐🛸👽💥1

Our Calmag arrived on day 28. All the ladies were immediately cast. On day 30, the plants looked better, but were still lacking. We therefore applied a foliar fertilizer which hopefully helped as an immediate solution.

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.

It will soon reach its full potential and bloom as if there were no tomorrow. Last night I personalized the conditions a little more precisely and adapted them to the respective growth. Since Lady Jealousy is still withering a bit, I keep the humidity just about at the reasonable limit of tolerability for both fully flowering Sweet Seeds ladies. I think temperature and humidity is a good but necessary compromise here. Different strains require different conditions. Especially when growth is so different. I also find the tribes of the three protagonists interesting... In my opinion, it tells us a lot about the selection of phenotypes in breeding. So my dears, the day takes its toll. Time to sleep. Tomorrow my Sweed Seeds Jealousy package will be delivered from Spain. Despite the circumstances there with so much suffering due to storm disasters, super punctual. We cause ourselves the most stress, because we have a completely distorted conception of freedom. Freedom does not mean being able to do everything you feel like doing. The assumption of having to do something all the time, is the main reason for stress. Only, when we have internalized, that we don't have to do, what we don't want to do: Only then, we are free.

Growth is super, despite having splitting and getting a break where I topped due to something falling on the plant. I quickly patched her up with some electrical tape and a cable tie and she recovered within a day! Super resilient plant. She's starting to smell and putting out a few pistils already at the end of week 1 flower!

Planted de seed, usually I'll do a hard germanation, but I want this plant to just be natural. When de sun set, pot & seed goes inside, dey come out for sunshine when it' is warm & bright enough.

The pics and videos are from day 37 of flower. All 3 of these are starting to beef up a little bit, they have perfect bud structures. I'm picking up a creamy kinda vanilla smell on them each having slight variations but what do I know? I really want to grow all 3 phenos again sincenmy clone runs always seem to be just a little bit better. I said this on my last post but for anyone droppin questions in my DMs just comment on a journal I dont go thru the dms its alot of the same questions over and over. That way anyone can see the questions and responses and I'll try to do a better job at responding to comments as well. I always have so many diaries going at once I rarely stop and read them all until the very end when things slow down. Hope everyone had a happy halloween3👊

The #2 pheno now has a pungent earthy fuel profile which has made her a keeper! The #1 pheno is more on the purple sweeter terp profile side, which is not really enough to be a keeper, but the smoke is definitely smoother and terpier than before. --- Still searching for more keepers, but now have a potential mother to breed with. Getting hyped! --- Wow curing really does make a huge difference! --- As for the Gorilla Goat phenos, they have been curing for about 3 months (since 04/08/25) and taste okay but nothing special. The #1 pheno still has a pretty loud lemon cleaner nose, but nothing to special on the smoke. Yet. I think. --- Also, for this cycle, plan to probably reduce the 18/6 harvest flip from 7 days down to 4 days. Time to start scrogging and training out the canopy. Let’s go! --- Temporarily took the PVC scrog frame out of the tent. - [16:35]: Okay time to re-string the frame! --- Like always, used mason string for the netting and double-looped each screw. Strung the vertical lines before weaving the horizontal lines over and under the vertical lines. --- Also covered the top of each corner with foil and masking tape. - [17:14]: Done! Scrog frame is re-strung and looking great! --- Set the frame aside for a bit. - [17:15]: Going to give Vivosun’s High CFM (cubic feet per minute) Support Kit a try. --- Once the scrog frame is installed, the back area is difficult to access. So need to install the kit before placing the frame back in. --- The kit came with 4 identical support bars which snap snugly onto the vertical tent bars. --- Assembly was pretty straight forward and the bars snapped and screwed together with ease. --- To make the process a lot easier, I installed all the corners first. The bars easily snapped into the corner pieces and once fully secured, the whole tent feels a lot more stable. The kit also widens the tent to keep the fans from hitting the sides. --- Left the front bar off for now (only have the front corners installed). --- To ensure that the support bars are level, decided to place the bottom (back and front) bars just above where the tent bars snap together (about 41 inches from the floor).
