Comenzamos la 6ta semana, con LST realizado y cada vez más dobladas para ir mostrando todos sus brotes. Se realizó una defoliación a las hojas más grandes para que los brotes pudieran tener luz directa. Respondieron bien al LST que se le fue haciendo (apretando cada vez más los hilos) y a la defoliación. Se aplicó diatomeas al sustrato para evitar posibles plagas. Terminando la 6ta semana se cambia el fotoperiodo a 12/12 para pasarlas a floración

MY WEED SMELLS LIKE WEED. Filling the room, creeping through the apt, what a glorious time. No major smell worries where I am so I'm just enjoying the atmosphere. 😍 On to Backbuilding/Bud Tipping. (Shoot me any advice on this down below!) I experimented back mid-week with 3 tipped buds that had similar control buds side-by-side. After 4 days there is a noticeable difference in density and bud structure in the 3 tipped buds compared to the very fluffy and softer buds next to them. No overall size difference but the tipped buds are rock hard and filling in gaps down the cola compared to the untipped buds. A light squeeze on both a tipped bud and untipped will tell you the difference right there. Happy with the results after seeing them for myself and lucky enough to find this technique at the end of week 4, I tipped majority of the main colas on Danny and some larger buds on Arnold today. Which means I also get what OG growers call a "First Taste" once my tips dry out and cure for a few days. 😛 Other than tipping, I've just had to keep up with Arnold's feedings since lower leaves are still fading if I skip mineral nute feedings. Looks like they will be getting only PH Perfect and/or Molasses feedings until the final flush since they can't get enough food in the ProMix medium. I've still had constant defoliation during to avoid leaf overlap and light blockage. Since I'm now entering week 5 of flower I'll have to get it where I want in the next couple days and go hands off for the last month or so. Thanks for checking out my grow! Follow along as we're getting to the good part and I'll update again this week once the tipping sets in 💪 MID-WEEK UPDATE: Random Heat/Humidity wave in Southern Ontario so I'm keeping a close eye on the buds after dark periods. Keeping air moving well so far so hopefully I can avoid mold/mildew in last few weeks. Twins are looking good. Arnold still super hungry so I've upped the nutes a tad and skipped plain water feeding until the flush. Just fed them PH Perfect/Molasses cocktail. Big Arnold on the right is definitely rootbound by how the water is draining so I'm looking at a lower yield from the right plant. I get run off from small Danny during a regular feed but takes a lot more to get any from Arnold and I don't want to overwater in this random heat/humidity wave. The Backbuilding/BudTipping is working like a charm. The tipped buds are filling down and way more dense than the untipped. Popped the SoundLink in the tent today to give the twins some music while I go about my business. Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good. You have already received the first watering with Grow Liquid and the next in a mix with Bloom Liquid 😀👍. Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked. What a week it was, experimented with my 2 AK47 hermie seeds and the happiness seeing a jungle in my 2x4 tent. They overtook the lights and pistils are coming out however no pistils are forming and the nice looking hairy structure was not visible instead the plant overstretched. I was informed to flip them lights in which i may attempt once harvested all of my 3 autoflowers. It is no doubt that this hermie can produce great flowers once i flip the switch, i have completely defo the plant to reveg it once Purple Punch, Outlaw Amnesia and strawberry cough is chop-chop. Other 3 autoflowers are looking great.

D01 - 25/09 -> New Home for my fellows clones coming from one of biggest plant I ever saw: a Royal Queen Seeds Skunk XL D02 - 26/09 -> I think she has a little zinc deficency, so i dropped down to ph to 5.5 D03 - 27/09 -> Topped one girl to see what happens. If everything goes well, I'm going to topping all of them. Increased EC until 1.3 D04 - 28/09 -> Topping of other buds D05 - 29/09 -> Rest for the girls. Increased EC until 1.5 D06 - 30/09 -> SCROG Net Setup and a little of defolation. Tomorrow I'm going to cut all the branches below the red line (see picture). I want to make a main lining alongside the SCROG Net with 2-3 branches and cut off all the branches below except for the girl on the left that is too short yet. D07 - 01/10 -> I Cut off the branches of only one girl, waiting to see her reaction to the stress before to do the same to other girls. Increased EC until 1.8.

Very variable weather, summer is at the end, temperature drops quickly, even 60 °F. I was out for 3 days, on my return I found the three girls who were starting to wither but they were promptly watered. No damage to report. The yellowing of the lower canopy has started. Acceptable weather forecast until 10 September. I bought 5 transparent PCV tarps to protect them extemporaneously from the rain. My beloved Gorilla rocks! Buds are forming and filling very well, super sticky and frosty. Strong citron/bubblegum scent. This sativa-like pheno is funtastic, she is not very leafy, leaves are narrow so the sun penetrate very well through the whole plant. It remains to be seen how the buds will fill up and if my girl can disprove the reputation for "quality buds but low yields" . Let's see. Expected harvest September 3rd week.

Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. Did another defoliating this week as well as lollipopped them up another node. I feel it helps mature the lower flower sites and allows plenty of airflow though the leafs. I introduced bloom nutes as well as P&K. All in all Happy Growing

Now in Week 3 the plants got topped and LST. From now on the plants will be fertilized with bio bizz grow 2ml/L and bio Heaven 2ml/L.

Week went well with my ladies. The Colorado Cookies are very stinky of skunk and earthy aroma. Loaded with trichromes and crystals covering from head to toe. I put 1 banana blaze outside to finish her cycle. 🌿💚💨🍪

Growing well, so far. The added silica shows its effect - the stem is absolutely massive and solid, don't think LST is an option. I want to do either Topping or FIMing, but am not sure yet, which one. The decision will be shown in the pictures that I'll add, once the procedure is done. UPDATE: I decided to top Banana Kush Auto, as seen in the added photos and video.
