The Sour Stomper from Mephisto Genetics on day 69, and I must say it has quickly become one of my favorite strains to grow. 🌱💚 It's not only super fast ⚡ in its growth, but also incredibly easy 🙌 to cultivate. What makes this strain truly exceptional are the unique phenotypes it produces in terms of colors and aromas. 🎨👃 One of them emits a strong scent reminiscent of fresh meat 🍖👃, while another phenotype displays a captivating orange color 🧡 with an indescribable aroma. 🍊👃 I apologize for not being able to share any photos this time. Harvesting all 20 plants took me the entire day, and by the time I finished, I was completely exhausted. 😅 It was quite a task trimming them all, but I managed to get it done. Afterward, I collapsed into bed and peacefully rested. 💤💤 Overall, I would rate this strain a solid 9.5 out of 10. 🌟 I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing the final harvest weight. 🌾🤞 Exciting times ahead! 🌿✨

Start of week 4 and the plants have stopped stretching so rapidly, expecting them to stop within this next week. Flowering week 3 defoliation last week, removing most of the fan leaves to allow better light and airflow to the bud sites and to concentrate growth. Many trichomes forming, even up onto the fan leaves.

I bring down the ph of the rockwool cubes by soaking them for a few hours in 3,5 and then flush them with ph 5,8 water with nutrients in and then let the cubes sit in ph corrected nutrients solution. I let them drain for 10 minutes After a 3,5 hours.

Started with some light feeding at the beginning of week 3. A third of the normal dose.

Plants are looking really healthy. Defoliated again to get more light for bud sites. Lowered humidity a bit.

Wow another one that's jumped 3" inches. This is the first grow of the very first strain I've ever created. I'm excited to say the least. Hopefully it's a female and we'll see how the flower turns out. If it's a male I'll have extra pollen for future seeds & breeding.

Came in on Monday this week after first round of feeding the Friday before and the plants had all gone into full flower mode. They seem to be doing pretty good! It's been pretty hot this week but I feed just water every other day or when the soil is dry and feed them fertilizer every other watering with 1/4-1/2 strength

Grow was strong. Had some concerns regarding the autos and thier timing as far as switching into flower and not being 100% in sync with one another. It's just the nature of the genetics sometimes. Week 11, As you can see with the pictures, she has some nutrient burn :( I unfortunately gave her too much nutrients. I knew this strain was sensitive to nutrients because of the 2Fast4buds strain video but I did not know what was too much or not. If I was to grow this strain again ,I would probably switch up nutrients every other watering and not every watering as I did. As a result of the burn, I used some ClearEx in hopes that the leaves will turn back to green. The plant seems to be responding well to the treatment being on 2/17 and all. My plan is to water the plant on 2/19 with only water to flush the plant some more. Hopefully by 2/22 I can give the plant some finishing bud density nutrients for a week or two and then flush time. I am nowhere near a master grower and every mistake is a learning experience :) Let me know if you have any questions/ comments/ concerns. Good luck with everybody grow! 🌸 BlueBerry – Week 6 Flower Report Grower’s Journal | Zamnesia BlueBerry ⸻ 🌱 The Girls This Week Both BlueBerry ladies are now true queens, stretching big, stacking huge colas, and getting so heavy that yo-yos are holding them up. Without support, branches would fall under their own weight, which is a good sign of strong flower density but also a reminder of the importance of plant training. The frost continues to thicken, and the trichomes look spectacular up close, sparkling in photos and videos like tiny glass forests. ⸻ ⚠️ Trouble in Paradise – Bud Rot But with big flowers also come risks. This week, Bud Rot (Botrytis cinerea) showed up on BlueBerry #2. • Conditions: High humidity (65%+, sometimes higher) combined with dense flowers created the perfect environment for rot. • Detection: Early spotting saved the plant. We caught it in time before it spread too far, but it still left its mark. • Action Taken: • Carefully removed every infected area. • Isolated affected material to prevent spores spreading. • Improved airflow around the canopy by moving plants and adjusting fans. 👉 For anyone learning, here’s a great educational read by Zamnesia: Bud Rot Grower’s Guide. https://www.zamnesia.com/grow-weed/563-bud-rot-cannabis-grower-guide ⸻ 🌿 Bud Rot – What It Is & How to Prevent It Bud Rot is caused by the fungus Botrytis cinerea. It thrives in humid, poorly ventilated conditions, especially inside large dense colas where moisture can hide. How to prevent: • Keep humidity lower during flower (ideally 40–50%). • Maintain constant airflow across and through the canopy. • Defoliate strategically to open airflow inside dense plants. • Avoid watering late in the cycle to reduce night-time moisture. What to do if it appears: • Act quickly. Remove all affected buds immediately. • Sterilize scissors/tools between cuts to avoid spreading spores. • Keep monitoring daily — once it appears, it can spread fast. Bud Rot is every grower’s nightmare, but also one of the most important lessons in environmental balance. ⸻ 💡 Lessons Learned (and Moving Forward) This 8x8 setup is teaching us a lot. For the next run, I’ll be redesigning the airflow system entirely to prevent these issues. For now, the plants are still thriving, and catching the rot early means we can continue with this grow. Big flowers are a blessing, but they require serious air control. We’re already working on solutions, including an AC and new placement strategies, which I’ll cover in more detail on YouTube. ⸻ 📸 The Beauty Side Even with this challenge, the girls are stunning: • Massive colas held up by yo-yos. • Sparkling trichome close-ups showing the magic of Week 6. • Heavy branches bending under the weight of their own production.
