February 28, 2019 Update: Getting close to the end here. Cream & Cheese should only be a week or two away from flush. Feeding only MegaCrop & Cal+Mag Pro until the flush. This week I took pictures with the lights off and my camera flash on, I think these pics look better than last weeks. Bonus pic at the end of the view from my bedroom window. I'd love to see my buds get that frosty! 👍

Final stage of vegetation. Few more weeks left before flowering starts. Cant wait to have that Hazelicous smell around. Anyone ever had dream machine?its one of her parents and I have never smoked it and im very curious about the taste especially!

Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 11 Flower 7 Blue Cheese 1 is in her last week; March 17 Blue Cheese 1 that was planted in coco had her wet trim and was put in the dark for 2 days before getting the chop on March 20. Blue Cheese 1 shows fade and nutrient usage in the upper leaves. I also see pinks and purples in the buds and leaves. They look pretty with lime greens, pinky purples in the bud formation. The buds are stacking fatter and packing on more resin on the buds which are sticky and hard. The trichomes look mostly milky with some amber as well. The stems are strong and support the heavy buds. Blue Cheese 2 in soil will remain with her tent mates Pink Rozay & Love Potion. After flushing excess nutrients out of the soil and plant, Blue Cheese 1 in coco is matured faster than Blue Cheese 2 in soil. Blue Cheese 2 shows trichome formation starting to milk up compared to BC1. Her leaves are still green with no fading. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down for both girls. She still needs a few more weeks before I’ll start flushing. Blue Cheese 2 was fed on March 17 & 19. Pics were taken on the 17th. Day 22 - No keeping this beast down! Any kind of LST thrown at her has nothing but amazing results! Time to start leaf tucking! Day 23 - Doing what I can to get those lowers as much light as they can! I saw a pistol or two. Can't wait to see her ignite into flower! Day 24 - She's filling out and that cover crop is just insane!! I have not been able to get any of my water soluble nutrients in because of the run off. Tomorrow will be the day as its been a few days since I've needed the shop vac. Day 25 - Early morning feeding. I take my pictures consistently in the evening around 8-10pm. Insane 24 hour difference! Hard to keep the leaves under control. Day 26 - Installed a trellis net for a few reasons. I like to have a baseline for later lollipopping, it'll help support later buds, and its opening lower sites up for light, giving them their final chance to not get the later cut. Day 27 - Final tuck with some pulley assistance in areas before I head out of town for a day in the morning. Moving the cover crop to not allow shadow casting. I could always chop it and give it to the soil, but im enjoying the sight. Day 28 - Had to go out of town for the night, so no picture for today. I'm sure shes happy and raging.

So in the last couple of weeks I tried to make the night time temperature go down enough for them to turn color and they did - the sugar leaves turned a deep bluish green, really nice coloring! I harvested over a 2-day period. Day 1 I hand-plucked the sugar leaves off plants # 1, 2, & 3. Day 2 I hand-plucked plants 4 & 5, trimmed all of them and cut them down whole. I hung them to dry in my closet/former grow room with a boot tray of water with a towel for evaporation. My last grow was a disappointment in the end due to me not realizing how dry it is in the house (here in the living room it's 19% RH due to it being January in Canada and the hot water heating radiators are going full time). When they were dry enough, I did the final trimming, removing all the waste and dividing the buds into 2 classes: Top tier which are the nice tops of the big colas, and 2nd tier, which are the rest. I think I'll learn to make hash with the 223 grams of wet sugar leaves. I'll be adding more to this final entry in the coming days - this has been really tiring! Final numbers for 5 ShishkaBerry plants: Top tier buds (dried not cured) 372g 2nd tier buds (dried not cured) 150g Hand plucked sugar leaves (wet) 223g Waste (Sticks, stems, burnt leaf tips) 128g I'm basing my comments on the taste by the glove-hash I smoked - wow it's really good! I'm looking forward to next month when these buds will be ready to enjoy 😁 I'd like to thank all my new friends here and the other growers that have helped me along the way 😚 Finally, I left you with an outtake video from one of the defoliation sessions 😺 Stay tuned for updates... UPDATE 1: Today I might have made some tincture or something, not sure. I slow-roasted the dried but not cured previously hand plucked sugar leaves and crumbled them up and put them in a mason jar (51 grams 100% dry weight) and added a little bottle of Absolut Vodka (375 ml). I shook the mixture vigorously for a couple of minutes then placed it in a cool area of the house to sit for a few weeks before a first test - not totally sure what I'm doing here). UPDATE 2: Possibly made Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) out of the Alsolut vodka - ShishkaBerry mixture: I strained it so that there was no plant material, reduced it in a double boiler style, not sure what to do with the gooey stuff that's left as a result.

Meanwhile, our flowering cycle continues. In just one week, the plants have changed noticeably and are developing exactly as expected.
