Another week of waiting!! We have AMBER!! Flower times according to TNSB Purple Kush est. Flower time - 8 weeks Cheese est. Flower time - 8-9 weeks The Purple should be done next week and is only getting water when she is thirsty.... lift the pot technique works great!! Like previous Purple Kush grows I've done she is very popcorn like nugs and might be a little tricky to trim. The Cheese still has a few weeks left. Nice bud structure with the smallest nug being the size of a golf ball.... LOVE IT!! This was the last week for nutrient feeds and was still on a Nute, Water, Water schedule. (950 PPM on nutrient feeds)

I believe my plants are finally getting acclimated to the medium and recovering from transplant shock. New growth is looking much healthier. Just as a preventative measure, I picked up some Botanicare Hydroguard to use in an attempt to supplement the roots and bring the pH of the soil down to where I want it. Personally, the pH remains just a tad too high for my liking this week. I would like it more in the range of 5.7-6.5 but I'll give it a week or so to see the reaction to the Hydroguard. I've continued with more LST on all but the Glookies #2. On this plant I simply did a topping. It was a risk, considering the plants isn't vibrantly healthy, but I need to maintain it's height. I also did a second topping to the American Pie #1. As can be observed from the photos, not all of the plants were shaped the same way. I got creative with the fabric pots and I decided to LST a few plants a little bit differently just to see which technique/style I liked the most. So far, I am digging the way the Jelly Bananen #1/#2 and American Pie #2 are shaping up. They are going to have a beautiful, wide canopy when they head into flower. I'm considering transplanting into 5 gallon fabric pots within the next week or two so I can flip them to flower two weeks later. My intuition is telling me this has been a pretty lengthy vegetative stage, thus far. I'm expecting all of my plants to double in size during the flowering stage, which should be anywhere between 65-70 days long. I made sure to select strains with similar flowering times (60-70 days). All I can say is that this thing is a beast. She likely only has a week or two left so I did one last small top dress with dry amendments as well as some ewc and super soil to top it off. Cant wait to watch this girl really fatten up. She’s already having trouble holding up the colas. 😎🍿🍻🌱

Water week8.1

Long Veg, day 44 little defoliation

The smell when wet trimming the fans off is of sweet berrys, a little bit citrus and musky dank smell is the only way I can describe it. The drying is coming to an end, at the end of day 13 I broke a bud off that weighed a gram and had a smoke test, the flavours are there and it smooth smoke surprisingly but I think a cure will really bring the terps out.

Plants Flipped to flower on a 12/12 light schedule. EC dropped slightly to try and reduce any major stretch. These plants should have been lollipoped last week before putting them into a scrog but unfortunately I was unable to, so I have to remove the Scrog to make it easy to lollipop and then place them back into a Scrog once lollipoped. When the Scrog was placed back on it was more for support as I'd already built the structure of the plant the prior weeks. Although a few lanky branches did get bended back over. Another Scrog layer will probably added later in flower for further support when buds start forming.

Comeing along. Not shown any signs of over or under fed they have handled the heat not too bad been up to 30c although not for long. Starting to fatten up now also. Smells so nice

HARVEST DAY! 162 days after the sprout, and 117 days after the switch. It makes almost 6 months!! What a never-ending journey! I chopped down the princess and decided to place the colas on the usual hanging net without trimming them directly. I just couldn't. Every cola requires at least 30-40 mins to be trimmed properly. I got something like 50 or 60 colas in total. It's a total pain in the ass believe me!!! There are layers consisting in calyx, leaf, calyx, leaf, and so on. You basically need to work between every couple of small calyxes in order to remove the leaf in the middle, while being very careful to not cut down everything. It's insane!!!!!! So.... just wait a little more for the final harvest and the smoke report. They will come, but definitely not now! In the meantime I uploaded some harvest photos and videos. ;-) See you soon!!!
