I changed the reservoir and set the pH to around 5.3 and reduced the nutrients by 5ml/g. I just realized I've been adding far far fewer nutrients than I thought. I've been using 30ml in a 5 gal bucket (probably 4.5g volume) but I should be using 30ml/g so 4x as much. I'm going to leave it for now but I should probably start adding more nutrients. I took the wires I was using for LST off the bucket so it isn't stressed during flower and so it's easier to change the water. I'm taking off fan leaves that are blocking bud sites if I can't tuck them away. It grew a crazy amount today, so many little pistils came out. It's an exciting time. July 10 she thirsty. I added half a gallon of water and a full 30ml of each nutrient. That should bring us close to half the recommended nutes. I'll probably change the full res out and give 3/4 nutes sometime this week and go up to full strength next weekend if everything looks OK. https://www.remonutrients.com/calculator/ I just looked at my chart again and I think I was right the first time. I just added more nutrients for no reason. I added another half gallon of water and checked ppm and pH. Ppm is 1050, pH is 5.8. Gonna keep an eye on it through the day and see what happens. 305pm pH 5.8 ppm 1200 July 11 pH 5.8 ppm 1300. I'll add some plain water after the res goes down a bit more. Looks like the plant isn't using all the available nutes and is probably leaching some. She looks good though. Loads of vertical growth over the past week, now really going hard making bud sites. I'm going to see how this nute situation goes before doing any major defoliation or pruning. Leaf temp was 29 on the central cola so I turned up the fans and raised the light a bit. July 12 ppm down to 1200, pH still 5.8. Looks like it's going to be ok. July 13 ppm 1300 pH 6.2. I dropped an entire oscillating fan on my plant today. I broke 4 stems almost clean off. 3 appear to be surviving through duct tape and wire. The biggest one appears to be a casualty. I'm pissed. But the cabinet is coming together. Once it's perfect this kind of thing won't happen. I salvaged a piece of plywood yesterday and hand sawed the whole thing to fit as a door.

She is just growing, and growing, started to pre flower and already smelling a bit. I will grow it up a few cm, and if i think i can train an even canopy i will start to flower her (: very resistant to heat, it got up to 34 Celsius inside the tent 💀 But training her is REALLY fun and easy to do! Unlucky but Lucky. Auto night queen DNF. After 9 days its time to go on. 1/5 seeds germinate from that package 😀 Luckily I happened to find treasure at Saint Patricks day 🍀 3 blue streak seeds. All germinate in 48h in same place than night queen spend that 9 day. In facts Aprox 10years ago i bought 5 of these seeds. Made f2 from them and when raised there was phenotype that was producing much more branches than others so i made f3 seeds from the bushy f2. Lovely blueberry taste and smell. Not feminised so i go with 3 seeds at beginning. Had once 6/6 Males. these seeds are 7 years old. Planted 20.3.24 Sprouted 26.3.24 Lets see what we got. To be continued...

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Week 4’s in the box and these plants are lightning quick outta veg. We’ve confirmed the presence of at least 3 males and 1 guaranteed female so far. They’ve all started to hit vegetative maturity in full stride so it won’t be long until we look to flip. A couple have been topped once more for the sake of additional colas and if we get lucky, the remaining females may be suitable for a scrog. Either way, can’t be much happier about how well they’re growing at this stage. Here’s hoping it remains so through flower🤞. ***Notes: strongest plant to this week is first confirmed female. Prob a prime candidate for cuts and back pollination with the F1 pollen dump.***

she is slowly getting a complete dark red autumn colouring. it looks really nice. the buds are getting thicker and the smell more intense. but she still has a few weeks to go. luckily no mould or anything like that so far.

So excited, been very busy again so I didn't pull as many leaves as I wanted, still pretty proud though. The smell is very strong, the buds feel rock hard. I'm going to invest in a 2nd dehumidifier before I start another run, 2 of the plants are WAY behind, both of them have been little jerks the whole run, starting from runty ugly seeds and limping the whole way, one is so sparce, the other "runty one, is actually way too compact, I didn't get it open enough early, so it has just been a little mess the whole time, she IS the frostiest, but her buds are tiny tiny, even the tops are tiny, but I will just make dry ice hash with that one and make rosin. I'm super stoke though, I need to clean the room pretty good this next week during my 1st week of flush to get ready for a harvest in 10-14 more days...
