The Case of the Overdosing Indica: Act II - Week 8, The Heat is On (and the Flowers Are MIA) Brandenburg's sunshine streak is back, relentless as a crooked cop on the make. Auto Overdose, bless her green heart, seems to be taking it all in stride. Though the growth's slowed to a crawl – just a measly 4cm this week. Not exactly setting any world records. And here's the kicker, folks. Still no sign of those flowers we were promised. Starting to think this "auto" label is about as reliable as a dame with a gambling habit. Maybe this dame's playing a long game, one that don't involve the fireworks I was promised. Had to give her a little tough love this week. Took out some of the deadwood – leaves yellowing at the edges, smaller branches reaching for sunshine they ain't gonna get. Gotta focus on the main event, right? This dame's starting to sweat under the pressure, and so am I. Stay tuned, folks, the plot's getting thicker than a bowl of undercooked porridge in a cheap diner.

day 1 - shes getting her sugar on the leafs now clearly and you can start to really notice her smell after just a few minutes of the tent being open. not too strong of a smell yet but there is still much time to improve, really happy with the bud developement so far!!! day 4 - trichome producktion is just kickin off since 1-2 days, love to smell her sweetness. stretch has come to a stop a few days also. day 6 - when i opened the tent today she was showing me her flowers big. there was a big diffrence visible for my eye from last open yesterday to today and i like it! the pistils on the main bud start to get orange color and the others also seem to get a few pistols with color totay!

She's continuing on her mission of stacking her flowers, which are developing beautifully and have a delicious sweet fruity aroma to them right now. I did not water yesterday, so today I watered with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and rotated her pot... Damn she is looking great! 🤩💖 9/17- Yesterday I top dressed her with 1/4 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish then watered it in with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉. Her flowering is continuing beautifully and she's smelling stronger every day it seems! I'm staying on top of tucking leaves blocking light and turning her pot daily as well. 9/19- Four weeks of flower on the books! We're almost halfway there now, she's stacking her flowers tightly going into Week Five and she's looking phenomenal! 🤩 When I watered her today I added 1 tbsp/g each of Kelp Extract and Fish Emulsion (both liquid) to the 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water she received, which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 74℉. ~Thanks for stopping in! [ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.

31.05 yesterday was the end of the fifth week for the plants, some were transplanted yesterday, some today, and some not yet, but most of them were transplanted and topped for the first time... I was late with the topping because I didn't want to top before transplanting.. I topped most of the plants between the sixth and seventh nodes instead of between the fifth and sixth, some I even topped between the seventh and the eighth, but what's up... the weather normalized for a day and immediately started with severe heat... in the sun now it will be 40+ degrees C, until the other day it was 15, this is definitely not normal...the pictures and video are from yesterday, in the next update I will post pictures from the site Stay high ‘n’ keep growing!!!

Getrocknet : 99g mit Popkorn Buds aber weitgehenst von Stängeln befreit bzw jede knospe einzelnt abgeschnitten, ausser bei den TopBuds .

Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Grapefruit is developing a lot of new internode fan leaves, but she's too late into bloom now to defoliate etc. and don't want to stress the GG XL either. Latest GG XL photos are in Week 5. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.
