DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet. I topped her this week and she became very bushy within two days. I also changed her into a 10 gallon grow bag and she is loving it! Growing quickly she seems to love all the nutrients she can get !

Plants are finishing up, maybe another week and I can wrap things up. Buds didn’t get as fat as I would have liked but everything looks really nice and frosty. cleaned up all the plants with some defoliation.

First flowers appeared! :) The dehumidifier is still always ON to get +/-50% humidity. Weather is pretty wet outside, it doesn't help. I poor +/- 2l in each pot during each watering (a little bit more for the 26l pots). Second week with 12h of light and the stretch continues! Next week I will do a second big defoliation. Plants heights at the end of the week: Honey Melon Haze : 88cm (+18) O.G. Kush : 60cm (+12) Mandarin Punch #1 : 104cm (+28) Mandarin Punch #2 : 95cm (+24)

01/19/2022 She was a he. And he will be used for some pollination. Not sure what both parents were, but growing nice, stem rubs stinky and definitely has fuzzy Melon smell. Kinda reminds me of Tangie and model glue. Hopefully a good breeder will hit some choice branches on Blue Matter F2 and test the offspring. If interested Fuzzy Mellon is Forbidden Fruit x Watermelon Zkittlez bred by Dying Breed Seeds & 3rd Gen Family. Which is good genetics imo. But the wild card is who is th daddy?... Jerry springer show lol According to leafly both parent are heavily on indica side so his stretch and node length points to a sativa daddy? I never seen an indica with such large internodal spacing. I know males will be stretching out more but still large compared to other males I've grown out. So hope you follow along to see how his offspring will develop, I will pollinate one branch of my favorite Blue Matter F2, and save some pollen for my Biscotti Skunk, Grape Skunk,and lemon og.

Flowering Week 6 – Fading Leaves, Persistent Flies The sixth week of flowering brought a mix of progress and persistent problems. The whitefly issue unfortunately hasn’t gone away. I replaced both yellow sticky traps at the end of the week, and within minutes, two new whiteflies were already spotted on the fresh left trap. The old one had four additional flies on the back. This pest pressure remains a concern, but I’ve decided to hold off on further neem oil sprays for now, given how far along we are in flowering. I’ll keep monitoring closely. Nutrient-wise, I stayed cautious this week due to ongoing signs of overfeeding. Leaf tips are still showing yellowing and some burn, especially on the lower leaves. Many leaves have pronounced yellow spots and curled tips — a clear sign of excess nutrients earlier on. To reduce stress, I watered with plain pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0). Total watering volume was approximately 29 liters This week I also did a second round of lollipopping, focusing on removing all small popcorn buds and lower growth under the net that wouldn’t develop well. Despite the nutrient stress and the ongoing whitefly presence, the plants are still developing well. Buds are getting chunkier, trichome production is visibly increasing, and the overall structure is solid. Still, I’ll be keeping a close eye on both leaf health and pest activity in the coming days. ⸻ TL;DR – Week 6: • New whiteflies still showing up – 7 total seen this week. Both sticky traps replaced. • Additional lollipopping done: removed popcorn buds and shaded growth under SCROG. • Leaf symptoms (tip burn, spotting) persist – watered with plain pH water, once with half HESI dose. • Watered 3x this week: 9.5 L (pH only) • Light stayed at intensity level 7

Earlier watering was fed with nutrients, and my temperature is not low so I should go with minimum to medium quotas with more water avoiding burns, without much runoff mixing with soil compounds and mycorrhizae for better performance I know they need a calcium magnesium for better performance the problem is money I will continue with the use of salt Epson the option I have at the moment, direct sulfur in the soil mix has helped me hear a noticeable change. watering ph 6.2 solution temperature 20 ° - 0.50 g of large white microreceptor 2 days earlier sprayed with ppm-free water via leaves - lights off to serve as a cool-down shower is great for stomata . Simple led panel added as main light source 260watts being divided to 3 plants in the fullspectro tent model, did not get much difference in temperatures compared to HPS, is more the same spectro ratio and UV to reach more directly in the trichomes and terpenes. Moc medium leaves look more like Indica while larger leaves bring one more sativa a set a nice strong sweet smell, I prefer to conclude in the end the true tone I feel, she drinks more water than others the soil is easier to drain So I see in her an ability to take more quotas of nutris, slowly being able to take if necessary always try to avoid burns ...

Still lookin happy, water only around 6.5 ph. I will start some LST next week 👍🏼 I will also give a 1/4 dose of advanced nutrients sensi cal mag next week because that's one issue I've ran into, usually nearing flower and I feel weekly small doses helps negate any issues. LED lights seem to increase the need for cal mag at least in my environment. The auxiliary shoots off the main are interesting! It's definitely going to be more of a bushy structure and fun to LST! ✌️🏼 ♥️

Week ten 64-70 days after germinating

This is the week 2! Well, the plant looks really healthy, and she kept growing up, straight to the light! Good to see that even after the strange beginning, with the stem crooked, she recover her path! This week, I'm also planning to start feeding them with some NPK. Just need to read a little bit more about it and buy nutrients. Probably I'll try Canna stuff. Anyone know if it's good?

She's one of the tallest ones. I love this strain, for me it's a good nighttime - it's especially great at comforting me to sleep if I have a migraine. 😌 Works like a charm every time. I hope this pheno works like the flower I've had.

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Sorry for the delay on the weekly updates, had some things I had to attend but I'm back and at it! 21-day defoliation has come.. These pictures were taken on day 20 of flower. So these ladies can get quite bushy with those big indica fan leaves. So a much need defoliation was done. I'm loving the CC2 structure but not so much CC1 & CC3, training with those two got out of hand, had to make so weird ass bends! Distribution is all off with CC1 & 3.. I'll se what I can do moving the colas around to even out the light penetration. The split on both look pretty dope tho and CC3 has that little half loop. I'm thinking about trying a canna bonsai next spring with an autoflower jus because of that half loop. 😂 That sweet sweet cream caramel aroma is getting more and more noticeable. 😍 😍 Trichomes are coming in nicely as well. Pretty happy with the results as always with this strain. Height is different on all three so 77cm is an estimate between the three.. I'm sure buds with start filling in this week after the defoliation done. Only going to be watering with bloom nutrients for the next two weeks then I'll start adding an organic PK booster to the mix. Have a great day! One love!

I believe to be related to the cooker hood carbon filter I was testing on my pc blower/extractor. Removed it and it has improved pretty fast.
