Well, this week has been eventful. What started with a fly deciding to lay eggs in my buckets with larvae swimming around and chilling on my roots turned into a bit of a disaster. I used very weak H2O2 (diluted 3% solution). To try and clean infestation, the roots didn’t like it, even though the actual concentration of H2O2 was probs less than 0.25%. Lesson learned 🙃 It has given some of them a touch of root rot (this is an assumption because I can’t figure out what else it could have been). So growth has stunted a lot. Just before the bug problem, I increased EC to 1.1, this was probably another mistake, the smaller girls at the back with a smaller root mass got massive lock out, potassium, mag and calcium by the looks of it, coupled with a few not so well timed PH swings out of the 5.5-6.5 range gave me a lot to combat this week. But, life goes on, they’re still alive (just about)... As this is probably the hardest curve ball I’ve had thrown at me since I started growing canna, I have cut back the EC to 0.56 to allow them to heal. Probably wrongly decided to top them all as they were growing past 7th node, either it’s gonna pay off, or I’ll be posting harvest details of 0g by this time next week 👽 I am on a stay at home holiday from work for the next 3 weeks, so looks like my babies are staying in the ICU and I’ll do my best to bring them back to life 😊

Début de semaine 8 remplies de surprises, la tente de culture qui avait du retard selon moi par rapport à la deuxième tente, a progressé à une vitesse fulgurante, certes les plantes qui composent celle-ci sont plus petites mais la canopée est plus uniforme et il est à présent difficile de différencier dans ce que l’on voit de qui appartiens à qui tellement chaque plante à des ramifications remplies de bourgeons, un vrai régal pour les yeux et le nez. Elles font rêvées, ces jolies demoiselles... Ma deuxième tente que je pensais nickel si ce n'est que je n'ai pas su contrôler leurs hauteurs et que je me suis retrouvé avec les pointes qui touchaient la lampe, enfin après avoir tricoté un peu et diriger les branches en les attachants des fois avec de la laine, j'ai pu reprendre un peu le contrôle et m assurer que la lumière transite bien dans toute l'espace de culture devenu une vraie forêt. Et la surprise à 2 semaine de la fin, alors que je comptais commencer mon rinçage, je me suis aperçu que certaines de mes feuilles de la partie basse, comportaient des taches suspectes, après investigations et recherche sur internet, j'avais des thrips ! Etant en phase de floraison très avancés, mes moyens de traitements contre ces nuisibles sont donc presque nul, traitement chimique interdit, me reste donc comme solution le protoxyde d’hydrogène mais très discutés sur la toile ou les avis divergent beaucoup... le savon noir, dont beaucoup de sites présentes des recettes qui peuvent nous être très utiles , les bandes adhésives bleu prévus pour les thrips, et la dernière solution éliminé manuellement a la main... Après avoir lu et fouiller le net, je me suis tourné vers growdiaries et je me suis rendu sur le chat du site ou j'ai fait la connaissance de chouettes personnes qui me sont venus en aide et je les remercie encore grandement. Pour ma pars face à ce nuisible, j'ai suivi leurs conseils : savon noir plus éliminé à la main et contrôle minution chaque jour. Si je peux les nommes, merci à laBOSSANOVA, bird_of_prey et weedawan pour leurs conseils et leurs sympathies, première demande d’entraide réalisé à merveille. Ce site est juste top.

6th week of veg. Is finally in the books and all systems are go for the flower show. As they’re revegged clones, their branching structure is just ridiculous. Sucker branches everywhere pulling nutrient flow away from the winners. Right before we flipped and as per videos - we gutted every single plant and crushed it down to no more than about 7 tops max per plant. The whole goal is only to flower select, top shelf bud with every opportunity (and space) to grow to its fullest potential. So far, Druid nutrients has fit the bill for every one of em and they’re all extremely happy on this system👍. We also couldn’t resist and snipped another run of clones off each one but the Skywalker. Not sure if the boogie nights or blueberrys will make it but u never really know do you🤷. That said, the diy aerocloner has been a beast for us and minus an aphid issue last round - she puts out a 100% success rate😉. We’ll use the best of these as complimentary to reg. Run of some spicy bitch we’ve got coming up. Even if the pollen chuck is a failure - we won’t be losing any of the elite white widow or blueberry genetics🤞🤞🤞🤞. Other than that - it’s all wait’n on the buds now👍👌👍. Until next week. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. So, guys.. This is her first month blooming. 4 complete weeks has passed. Here we are for 2 more. Gave Her a super powerful egg shell fert (all powdered - Phosforium Whelthy.) 07/10/20 - We are in the middle of week 5. Thats the way they look like. For me a good number of buds and they are as dense as I thought they would be by this time. I think everything is under control despite some foxtails cuz the heat. Loving the experience.

03/20/2022 Biscotti Skunk looking lovely first four pictures.next up is lemon OG,followed by the three Grape Skunk girls middle one is my favorite so far (Middle in height) I did a light feeding of fish and seaweed, a little extra something just incase they get hungry in final weeks.
