Hi all , here we are for another fun run with a some of Fast Buds most delicious looking ladies to harvest. With each strain having it's own amazing appearance and buds , i am hoping to spoil them like a rich kid at the seaside with this new FC3000 provided by the generous sponsors at Mars Hydro. Thanks Susie. It is a 300w draw with a full spectrum of gloriousblumens to develop and create some hard , chunky and downright delectable buds. Easy to set up with a removable driver too. Very handy of the heat builds up and we need to reduce it somehow. There is more than enough extension chord(2m) to re hang the driver out of the growing area. It has a dimmer to allow it to offer seed to harvest capabilities all in one unit. No need for separate lights for each stage of the grow. The unit size is more than big enough to cover the 6 plants and the 100L x2 beds that they are going to be grown in. It is nice and light too so no worries about the hangers being stressed. It came with a hanging kit too so nothing to stop you getting it on out of the box. At 100% it really kicks some light out and has even worried the more than capable sp3000 sat next to it. A beautiful piece of kit that will no doubt be a good as it looks too. Having had a few issues with germination over the summer and totally failing seeds , I went back to plugs. They hold the perfect amount of moisture and dont fall apart when lifted either. Again they proved excellent with 100% success of these genetically brilliant seeds . Seeing them poking their heads up on 2 already only only day 3 was a pleasant surprise as i have had these in waiting a while now. No soaking the seed just straight into the cube from the packet.. Now fully germinated with no helmets for the unwary seedling either. ( can occur using cubes for.me!) We are officially in veg I think!. 7th Oct veg started...... I hope you will join me on this run to see what this light unit can do with 6 genetic wonders and 200L of well composted living soil/coco in newly set up No-till beds. I have been trying to use the living organic soil but find that in mid to late flower , I had to supplement to keep the hungry girls green and mean which i feel was due to only 60L of soil to work in effectively. With 3 plants sharing the 100L i am hoping they communicate via the root system and keep each other happy and healthy. I do intend to add some wrigglers and also some myco and a cover crop too. (Inspired by UKPersonal420 ). The ladies are domed and comfortable ar present and I am hoping to remove the domes in a day or 2 but temps here have dropped a fair bit so I will have to be mindful of the delicate girls getting too cold . Plan is to train them into the light with as many mains as I can manipulate using l.s.t , supercropping , topping or maybe a f.i.m or 2. This week marks the final phase for my Blueberry from Zamnesia a truly beautiful plant that has shown its full potential during the last stretch. After completing the last feeding with Overdrive, I officially began the flush with plain water. The response has been perfect: a natural fade across the canopy, with fan leaves turning yellow and purple while the buds stay vibrant, dense, and sticky. Under the loupe, the trichomes are mostly cloudy with about 15–20% amber, showing that the plant is entering peak maturity. The resin production is absolutely insane the buds are coated in a thick layer of trichomes from top to bottom, giving them that frosted, icy appearance that’s classic for high-quality Blueberry genetics. The calyxes are fully swollen, and the pistils have turned a rich orange-brown, curling inward as the plant finishes ripening. This week, the aroma reached its peak an incredibly sweet and fruity blueberry scent with earthy undertones and a subtle creamy note. Every time I open the tent, the smell fills the entire room. The terpenes are clearly well-developed, and the overall fragrance feels deep, natural, and powerful. Structurally, the plant stayed compact but productive, with thick, stacked colas covered in resin. Even the lower buds are tight and solid no airy popcorns, just consistent, frosty flowers. The upper colas are especially impressive, with a perfect balance of purple tones, orange pistils, and silver trichome coverage that makes them look almost unreal under light. The fade has been very smooth thanks to a well-timed flush. The leaves are now fading evenly without any harsh burns, which should ensure a clean, smooth smoke after drying and curing. SO, the girls were doing so well into their second week I decided to do the unthinkable... I topped autos! 😳😳🤯🤯 I figured they were doing so well and hadn't entered flower yet; let's do our best to keep them small and get multiple good buds instead of just one. This will also give me the best opportunity to lst them down using ties. Stayed tuned for that! This girl is doing okay, looking scraggly compared to the rest. I'm hoping she'll spread out once trained. Week 3 of flower stinking dank!😂 Some heavy heavy defoliation slight lollipoping to increase that light power hoping for just nice bud development but we will see! Thanks guys!

This was a good week, just starting to see bud sites pop up and now flower has officially begun. I noticed that the Primal Punch still looked a tad under fed so I blasted everyone with 1 scoop of Grow and 2 scoops of bloom (age old nutrients) I never used dry nutes before so here's hoping that I can stay on top of this grow and produce some sweet buds! Depending on when I harvest there may be another 9-12 weeks of flower. I'll pop in some more details after I get some shut eye, much love, Meus <3

End of week 3 Flower. She is spectacular!!! Buds are starting to ripen and the sweet grape aroma is heavenly. Added a few pictures. The ones under the lights weren’t doing her justice.

Learned my old ph meter was bad, got a new one and found the runoff ph at 7.6! Even with my tea at a ph of 5.4. No wonder she looks deficient in a few things. Going to add a topdress of DTE soil acidifier with a little extra sulfer added in next watering to see if I can't get her into a better range. Let's see what happens!

**I think I may have some hermaphrodites/seeds (maybe just false seed pods I hope??)... oh no! Thoughts?? (See pics) [also I think I may have found a male part with pollen!- see pic... Defoliated and fully leaf stripped. I am going all out to see what happens. Wedding gelato is a fairly tall plant for my tent and future grows will have to be properly trained and tied down. Live and learn. So far happy with the results from hydro grow. Roots have worked their way into the res so I have added an air bubbler to the submerged roots.

Super strong strain, large yields and production without much investment or maintenance, really happy with her, she turned out to develop 15% thc, having low consumption lights im more than satisfied

This LAB serum can also be used to create fermented plant or fruit juices (FPJ/FFJ). --- Anyways, --- First need to make the rice wash solution! --- Filled a mini wide-mouth mason jar with 1 cup of White Rice. ------ Added 1 cup of RO Water --- Mixed the rice and water for a bit. --- Covered the jar with a paper towel and rubber-band. ------ [ ~10 MINUTES LATER ] - [14:38]: Great! --- Mixed the rice and water again before pouring a little over 1/4 cup into a mini wide-mouth mason jar. --- Covered the jar with a paper towel and rubber-band. --- The current room temps are around 80°F --- To start the microbial activation, going to let this rice water solution sit for a few days. - [14:45]: Smelled the solution through the paper towel. --- The solution smells like flour. Nothing foul. --- From what I understand the process is pretty simple: ------ Create the rice wash solution and let it sit for a few days to activate (white or brown rice). ------ Mix 1 part activated rice wash solution to 10 parts whole or raw milk. Then let it sit for a few more days for the lacto cultures to proliferate. ------ Once the milk separates into essentially curds and whey, strain out the curds and the extracted whey is the finished Lacto Serum. ------ This serum should remain shelf stable in the fridge for several months. ------ Alternatively, black strap unsulfured molasses can be added to the serum at 1 part molasses to 4 parts serum. This will make the product stable enough for non-refrigerated storage (lasts several months). ------ As for application, the serum can be used as a soil drench or foliar feed at 4mL (~1tsp) per gallon of water. --- Anyways, --- Will check on this in a day or so and am waiting until the solution turns from a flour odor to more of a sweet aroma. - [19:35]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Ca-Caw!! The yellowing of the lower growth along with the healthy and perky top growth means there’s successful rooting and the clone is translocating nutrients to produce root growth. One clone at a time, --- Placed each clone into solo cups (also removed the clone tag). --- Made sure each solo cup had enough room for more soil. - [09:32]: Inoculated each Coco Coin with Great White mycorrhizae. ------ Sprinkled about an 1/16tsp of Great White onto each Coco Coin. --- Made sure to get the top and sides evenly. - [09:35]: Gently filled each solo cup with more soil. --- Completely covered the top of each Coco Coin and made sure to tuck the sides fairly snug with soil. --- Evened out the top soil. Each Coco Coin is about 1/4-1/2 inch below the top soil. - [09:44]: Added some BuildASoil Organic Straw Mulch to the top. --- Using the small straw bits at the bottom of the bag is great for solo cups. --- Time to water! - [09:51]: Filled a measuring cup with 2 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Coconut ------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/8tsp of Mycrobe Complete --- Mixed and poured the solution straight into a spray bottle. - [09:54]: Took the dry soil weight of each pheno before watering, ------ Heady OG (BX1) weighed 261.4g ------ TKO weighed 240.9g --- Marked the starting weight on the back of each cup. --- While on a scale, --- Gently misted the straw mulch of each cup. --- Focused on the straw and sprayed as evenly as possible. --- Misted 5-10 sprays. Waited a few seconds, then misted again. --- Repeated this process until both cups weighed at least 300g --- There was no runoff. --- Oops! --- Had to slightly extend the day period (Lights usually turn off at 10:00). - [10:04]: Took the weight of both phenos after watering, ------ Heady OG (BX1) weighed 301.2g ------ TKO weighed 301.4g --- Marked the saturated wet weight on each cup. - [10:12]: Placed both cups into the propagation dome. --- Removed the side extensions along with the plug tray and have the cups resting in the main drip tray. --- Have the lid and lights suspended above the tray (~00 inches). --- Also increased the propagation dome’s bar lights. ------ Increased the intensity from 1 to 5 - [10:13]: Took general PPFD readings. ------ Clones were around 109 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 7.06 mol/m²/d under an 18/6 light cycle. --- Turned the lights off and made sure that both were back to an 18/6 cycle (on from 16:00 to 10:00). --- Ca-Caw!! Done! --- Not worried about TKO, but getting concerned about Heady OG. Not sure if she is going to make it. - [14:23]: Checked on the Lacto Serum. --- The solution has been resting for 2 days. --- Smelled the rice wash solution through the paper towel. --- The odor has changed from the original flour odor but has not become sweet.
