I’ll start by saying I’m NOT using both bud blood and bud ignitor in one solution, I am using bud blood on the rear wedding gelato plant and bud ignitor on the front one to test the outcome of them individually to see the best results! I tied down and defoliated twice in the week and have switched to 12-12 yesterday so they’re transitioning now and should be in bloom by week 7! I made some extract them made some gummies successfully I might add and added the photos in the diary!

The grow began with great anticipation for these two legendary strains: 420FastBuds Blue Dream and 420FastBuds Moby Dick. Both strains demonstrated strong initial vigor, living up to their reputations. After planting, the seeds of both Blue Dream and Moby Dick sprouted quickly, with healthy roots emerging after just 32 hours. This rapid germination was a promising sign of the robust growth potential these strains are known for. At the 44-hour mark, the seedlings were introduced to their first light. Both Blue Dream and Moby Dick responded well, showing strong early development. The stems appeared sturdy, and the initial leaves were vibrant and healthy. With such a solid start, the grow journey for Blue Dream and Moby Dick is off to an excellent beginning. The fast germination and quick adaptation to light suggest these plants are well on their way to becoming the potent, resilient specimens they are famed for.

Zamnesia's Georgia Pie #1 performed that miracle I love so much: a magical foliage at the end pushed the leaves to a very dark purple/black color. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I dare say, cannabis is magical, but this color change process at the end is part of the magic in its own right. The plant, like many American strains, flowers in clusters, which doesn't mean it's any less good. Not seeing the swords is scary, but the Americans, through hybridization, have created magnificent strains with flavors, tastes, and especially resin formation that are rare in European cannabis. The genetics are Gelatti x Kush Mintz, and as I always say, where there's Kush Mintz, there's Magic. Always. The strain is a balanced day/night indica/sativa and has very, very sweet aromas that herald a mind-blowing taste. The trichomes are very beautiful and fantastic in the purple areas. They're around 20% Amber, 50% Cloudy, and 30% Clear. The plant is slightly more Indica, and I don't want to let it ripen too much. That's fine with me. The pistils are very, very mature, around 90%. It's a plant with well-proportioned, medium internodal spacing. This strain is much-loved; there are many good and famous versions, but ours here at Zamnesia is the best of all. We grew it in a classic 6.5-liter square plastic pot and then transplanted it into a 19-liter airpot. The flowers are all excellent quality, and the yield is excellent. I think 50-70 grams, trimmed and pruned, not a normal-sized plant trimmed. This one was processed with 16 toppings. I was wondering why she wasn’t breaking ground. So on 4/20 I started looking into the rapid rooter. She was breech! Stuck sideways in the rooter, turned her head first and she’s going in the right direction now!

Sooooo this has been an amazing and exciting week! Ive been patient with this last plant and really checking the trichomes i inly wanted a few amber caps on the nugs, was looking for milky on this one! Shes smelling amazing and the color change was such a sight to see! She did so well with the nutrients and loved the 2 week flush i did! I cut her down did a wet trim and have em in the drying rack! Im excited to see how she cures and drys ready for the smoke reveal! What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! Hello. This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of flowering. I turned these girls over to flowering 6 days ago. So I'm hoping to harvest about Aug 20th or so The plants are doing good and filled out their space so I can't see the floor through them.... Time to flower... Showed some pics of my Peyote's. Lost 2 this year to the cold, but repotted more young ones to make up for the loss. The paper wasps are the least aggressive of the wasps. I can walk in and out of the greenhouse and they don't bother me They just fly around my head to get out or come in. They are great for the garden. I see them flying in, loaded with caterpillar parts and other insects parts for their young. They circle like bombers climbing higher and higher to their nests which they grab with a front leg and swing in. They make open nests and under the white caps are the young. The only time they get upset is when a Yellow jacket Wasp or Bald Faced Hornet come to get their young. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Ghost Train Haze were the first to open in water and the first to come out of the ground. Really very very fast both, one a little more after about 16 hours was open in water and after about 30 hours in total was out. Spectacle of nature. Some problems on one with attached seed and placenta read below how to solve, it is the miracle of life at birth you have to keep your eyes open. It is a sativa predominance if it does well we will send it to the AWC competition see what happens. WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea remove slowly delicately please. WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots, choose the largest ones possible and not paper/cardboard ones, they are made of peat which is the main component of most of the soils we use. If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to your neighbors, I recommend installing one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations from equipment or of any kind. beginning of week 7 of flower: This week was really tough for this plant. 2 times the power outlet seemed to have some issue. I think it’s a physical hardware issue inside the wall. I’ve ran the extension cord from another location in the room, and haven’t had any issues since. Considering she only got about 5 hours of light in a 48 hour span, I feel she’s looking pretty good. The smell of the plant is really getting strong. When I first open the tent there’s an almost overwhelming citrus smell in the air. I really enjoy it.

Saddest week by far! 😞 Feeling like a bad dad smh should’ve got her a new home sooner than later. Don’t go for the deal in the end all the time, stick with what you know! “This is the lesson I learned this week.” Not many pics this week due to my disappointment in myself. She got way to close to LEDs and in some spots she was touching the diodes. 🤦‍♂️🏿 Burnt spots. Will be giving her a lot of TLC from hear on out. Will she bounce back?!?! 9/10: Bigger tent finally arrived! Tried ordering from Growbuds.com the Spider Farmer Grow Tent 2x4, paid for 2 day shipping. Wasted a week waiting for it before merchant advised the item would not be shipped til September 17th and I would’ve had to wait 4-5 business days for delivery. SMH. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime! Hello. This is the end of week 13 and the beginning of week 14 of veg. Didn't report last week because I was still harvesting the 13 plants of Captain Future. Just put the last plant into the curing bags last night. Each plant is getting 2 gallons of rainwater every 4 days or so. Did some branch topping and light defoliation this week. OK ... Ready for flowering ... Going to turn them over to flowering tonight or tomorrow. Take out the lights and close up the tent at 8 pm. Open it back up at 8 am and repeat. Found a couple of seams that need stitching in a few places to make it totally dark. I'll do that tomorrow. There's a 15 gallon reservoir in the tent too. I'll fill it on Sun with flowering nutrient and if I spray a couple of minutes a day, it lasts a week. Then on the seventh day I clean it up and make more nutrient for the coming week. I'll hand water when the pots seem dry. Works good ... last year I got about 2K from 6 plants ... so ... We'll see how it goes this year. Plant #1 smells wonderful. Soft Lemon with some sweet Papaya in there too, and is sticky when I'm working with it. Nice Plant. OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.
