Flowering process. Good weather

This past week was lovely with her growth...I decided to set her in flower mode from today i.e no more extra hours of solar light from this week. Looking for her to flower from next week with all the darkness.

This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth.

Harvested on Day67, this was a small and fast lady! Her stems were skinnier than most plants Ive grown, although her buds were massive. For how quick and small she is, I was surprised to get 75g dry. I would recommend this strain to anyone. The phenos are a bit random, as well as the size of the plant, but the yields are great and honestly all the phenos are fire.

One more week here we go, and this girls are ready to Flower, I’ve defoliate them a bit, gave them some foliar feeding and provably tomorrow or so i will put them to sleep for 24 h and wake them up at 12/12. Color on the leafs is back were i like and there for the time is now, the only reason I didn’t do it yet is because i want to take some clones from them just in case something outstanding comes out of this run, better safe than sorry and this way i can save the pheno with i like the most 😇💚 As for the LED department, i believe this VIPRARSPECTRA P2000 is just perfect for this 3x3 closet, PPFD numbers are on point and my girls are loving the spectrum coming out of it. Germination took 5 days until the plants popped

Our L.A. Kush Cake #3 started slowly, then vegetated very well, and now we're embarking on the flowering adventure in excellent shape. We're in an 11-liter Zamnesia fabric airpot. Hey guys :) The girls got topped once now, they still recovering from the light burn i did, Trying to ‚LST‘ 😄 Started giving nutes in a Half dosage at week 3 !

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

New flowering continues to develop on this lady, she seems to be swelling up day by day. Yellowing of the fan leaves has started which usually means it's time to flush, I need to check the trichomes to see how amber they appear before I do just in case the flavour or yield could be effected.

Had to put another layer of netting for support.

Week 15 days 99-105 . I'm am flushing all plants with 1 gallon of filtered water each. I've reduced the light cycle from 18 to 14 hours to reduce heat stress. It may reduce yield as well based on comments I've read in other growers diaries. An oz per plant would be nice. Of course more would be better but an oz makes a pound of cannabutter. Reducing the light hours is reducing the purpleness in the stems of og kush and gorilla glue but Purple chill still has purple stems The Natrona sisters spend their nights in the garage where the temps are 10-15 degrees cooler than in the day temps in the tent. Night temps ranged this week between 63-66 with rh 51-76%. The high rhythm comes after a rain. During the day, I'm keeping the tent open while circulating 2 fans. Day Temps can reach 80 so it gets hot in there. flooded each plant with 1 gal of water. From here forward I will be flushing all plants with filtered water at 1 gal for each plant every other day. Monday, flushed with 1 gal of water. Starting this flush, I added ice to the top of the soil before watering. See photo. This is a stress technique used to force plant phenotype colors. I don't think it will work for mine as I over fed. While I have 3 different strains, they look the same with blue green dominance. Thursday, flushed with 1 gal of water. See photo Sunday photos I'm not seeing any change in leaf or bud colorations from flushing out the fertilizers nor from the ice treatment. General comments" After putting the plants in the garage during the night, morning soil temperatures are within a degree of the night air temperature. This has been about 15 degrees cooler (50s) than the tent temperatures (75+). This week our weather has been unseasonably warm so the night temperatures have been 63-71 with Rh 51-70% Tent temps in the day 75-80 and RH 47-59%. Veg day 36.- Happy girls seeing the sun for the first time. Additional soil mix is same as before. BX promix and perlite 2:1. Additional volcanic ash and worm castings. First watering was generic AB 1/4 strength, Rhizotomic and Mammoth P microbes. PH adjusted to 6.3 300ppm. Veg day 42 - after a week of wind and weather for the first time both seem to be acclimatizing well enough. A squirrel seems to like digging. Any suggestions for critter deterent?

Cherry Cola diesel smell ⛽️

This will be the ladies last week of Veg, they will be flipped to flower at the end of the week. I have been increasing the nutrients steadily, and rotating between heavy, light and low nutrient mixes. They have been steadily getting taller and bushier. Temps have remained steady in the high 70’s and low 80’s while RH has come down a bit to between 55 and 60%. I won’t be doing much training for these girls, and I won’t be running a SCROG this time around. I’ll need to make another custome size for my tent now that I have a much larger setup.
