The Hobbit Hole – Woche 13 ? BAAAAUM FÄLLT! – Das Ende einer Outdoor-Reise Woche 13 – und heute endet die Reise für die letzten beiden Bewohnerinnen des Hobbit Holes. Die Gelato hat das Hobbit Hole bereits vor knapp zwei Wochen verlassen und hängt seitdem kopfüber im Schuppen. Aufgrund des sehr feuchten Wetters trocknet sie deutlich langsamer als erwartet. Nach inzwischen 12 Tagen ist sie immer noch recht feucht, aber das Wichtigste: bislang keinerlei Anzeichen von Schimmel. Einen ersten kleinen Probebud gab es trotzdem schon. 😅 Und dann gab es noch eine kleine Überraschung: In der Gelato habe ich einen einzelnen Samen gefunden – und gestern auch einen in der Cinderella. Woher die Bestäubung kam, bleibt wohl eines der kleinen Geheimnisse Mittelerdes. 😂 💜 Purple Punch Was soll ich zu ihr noch sagen? Die Purple Punch hat sich in ihren letzten Wochen optisch komplett verwandelt. Aus einer eher unscheinbaren grünen Pflanze wurde zum Ende eine tiefrote bis violette Schönheit. Besonders in der Sonne kommen die Farben zusammen mit der dicken Trichomschicht unglaublich zur Geltung. Sie ist sicherlich nicht die Pflanze mit den größten oder kompaktesten Buds dieses Runs geworden – aber optisch ist sie für mich definitiv eines der Highlights des gesamten Projekts. Und vor allem: Trotz der dauerhaft hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit und des schlechten Wetters sehen die Blüten bis zum Schluss sauber aus. 👠 Cinderella Cindy sieht inzwischen aus, als hätte sie selbst beschlossen, dass es reicht. 😅 Das Laub ist massiv ausgefadet, viele der großen Blätter sind bereits gelb oder komplett abgestorben. Gleichzeitig stehen an den Trieben noch überraschend schöne, stark bereifte Buds. Die Makroaufnahmen zeigen überwiegend milchige Trichome, daneben noch klare und vereinzelt bernsteinfarbene Köpfe. Vielleicht hätte sie unter perfekten Bedingungen noch etwas Zeit bekommen können. Aber perfekte Bedingungen haben wir momentan definitiv nicht. Die letzten Wochen waren kühl und vor allem viel zu feucht. Das zusätzlich gespannte Tarp hat die Pflanzen zwar vor direktem Regen geschützt, aber irgendwann überwiegt das Risiko den möglichen Gewinn durch ein paar weitere Tage Reife. Deshalb fällt heute die Entscheidung: Cinderella und Purple Punch werden geerntet. ? Lieber etwas früher als Budrot Das war wahrscheinlich die wichtigste Lektion dieses Outdoor-Runs. Indoor kann ich Temperatur, Luftfeuchtigkeit, Licht und Bewässerung kontrollieren. Im Hobbit Hole entscheidet dagegen irgendwann Mutter Natur, was gespielt wird. Das Wetter der vergangenen Wochen war alles andere als freundlich. Trotzdem haben die Pflanzen durchgehalten und ich konnte sie dank Regenhaube und später zusätzlichem Tarp weitgehend trocken halten. Jetzt möchte ich mein Glück aber nicht weiter herausfordern. Nach den letzten Fotos, Videos und Makros heißt es deshalb heute: BAAAAUM FÄLLT! 🌳?😂 Damit ist der aktive Grow im Hobbit Hole 2026 beendet. Aber das Diary ist noch lange nicht vorbei. 😏 Als Nächstes folgen die Ernteberichte, die finalen Trockengewichte und natürlich die Rauchberichte der drei Sorten. Die Gelato macht dabei den Anfang. Was als kleines Outdoor-Experiment in einer überwucherten Ecke des Gartens angefangen hat, ist für mich zu einem meiner spaßigsten Projekte dieses Jahres geworden. The Hobbit Hole will return. Und nächstes Jahr darf dort etwas Größeres einziehen.

One pheno smells like straight up slurricane i grew from clones so im sure not a mixed up seed lol One pheno has not much scent and probably leans bubba kush. I have no idea where this sweet candy berry pheno is coming from...probably wedding cake. I hope to get some damn cheese from the 3rd one that i saved but didnt make the flower room cut. Size and trichomes for week 3 is satisfactory given i did a heavy defoliaton at flip, and these are only 10L/3 gallon grow bags sharing a 200w light. Tried to stop stretch with cytokinins and kelp but i may have to raise the lights?

Final week of veg. Seems like a lot went on. As you can see, the canopy is virtual all even. The branches that were tied down 3 weeks ago were allowed to let go and reach for the light. In contrast, the taller and much stronger branches now became tied down. This took some work - these branches are thick and sturdy - pulling on them too much I am afraid will detach them from the trunk. That happened to the Gelato. It took a little bit of repositioning the wire garden ties everyday to achieve this. I'm happy to send them into flower like this. Speaking of Gelato. Her soil has been hot from the beginning. She has shown signs of high nitrogen levels and the run off from the pot is never clear. I purposely held off from feeding her nutrients bc of this, until this week. A day after feeding veg nutrients at 50% strength, there was yellow-browning and burning new growth leaf tips. This occurred for about 24 hrs on a few leaves then did not get worse. Next watering cycle will get only cal mag. Of note, the pH of any liquid going into Gelato has been consistently at 6.5. A few notes about the environmental conditions. According to VPD charts, the temperature / relative humidity ratio has not been ideal for vegetation. What would have improved the environment would have been the addition of a humidifier to reach about 60% RH at temps around 65 degrees F. Now, we are on to flower...

Let’s Go Day 67 from seed !! So this week went real great! 2 Ogreberrys an Bruce Banner started getting flushed! The rest will follow up and start flush next week ! Today the 3 will continue getting flushed while the 3 others get there dose of nutrients, PHd at 6.5! Let’s grow lil ladies let’s grow!!! The final week for the cough. She has had an easy week and will spend her last 7 days on just water and some humic acid/growzyme. I'll go to just water for her last feed which I expect to be on Friday. Her run off is still a 1.4 s she has food in her substrate. Not much more to say. She's fat with probably the most dense top I've grown to date. It's like there are at least 3 layers of flower growth over the buds with a fourth layer coming in, in the form of some foxtails. Can't really explain it but trust me it's dense.. super sweet smell also and very sticky to the touch. She has chewed through most of her fan leaves and I will remove any old ones through the week to aid with the trim/harvest Thanks for passing through. Grow well 👍🏼💚🌿🇬🇧.

Everything going great. Smells like sour candies. Legit can smell the cantaloupe origins and it’s already getting blanketed in trichs. Can’t wait to see these girls get dense in the next few weeks.

Chopped her down day 66. She's hanging rn, will update you guys with the weight soon! Looking forward to trials! She smells nice and lemony and holy shit I got a ball of hash off the scissors. The size of a button but still amazing for such a small plant.

Guys shit happened at the end of week 9, my ph tester went off and i messed up. my leaves looks soft as shit. now i am using the drop ph tester and brought in a decent level the ph, see if things will come back or will have to do something more

Karibbean Mango looked beautiful this last week. She could've used another week I think, but definitely in a harvestable state. Honestly, when getting the seed, I thought it was more of a sativa, so always double check things, but I think I'm gonna like this one a lot regardless. It's got a tropical end of fruity smell for sure. Really dank smell I could tell from even in veg It was gonna be pretty smelly. But then, when I harvest, I got the full sense of what she's going to be like it had a real intense, not exactly burnt rubber, but in that territory, where I just like sits in your nose. That was from mostly touching the stems when you open the flowers up a little bit it's a sweeter floral, tropical fruit and gas. Harvest went really well with the plants. It's always a little nerve-racking going in there wondering if you're gonna run into anything like budrot or pests you didn't see but this round, nothing to speak of. Which most rounds are but I've had a few issues with some bud rot in some big colas before. Everything looked really clean. No signs of bud rot, no pests in or our of the soil. No powdery mildew. The tent really wasn't even that dirty. I had to clean it after I recommended my 65 gallon pots for my next round and was shocked how clean I got it within a day of having those plants in there growing. This week my main focus was trying to get the temps down a little bit and humidity is low as I could. At the beginning of the week I dropped the lights down a full hour, down to 10/14. Also, the last few days before harvest, my temps were getting above 83 towards the end of the night and cut them off even earlier, so there was a few days they got roughly 9 hours of light last few days. I watered twice this week but the last dry back before cutting them my soil moisture's got around 18%, so pretty dry. I would've like to keep them a little wetter but ambient humidity has been very high. The last few days I managed to get into the 78°F 55% humidity range which I was happy with. Harvesting the four plants took from 8 PM to 4 AM after their night cycle by myself. Each plant taking an hour and a half With very tiny breaks in between. I was on the second plant taking a hanger out to my dry area and I hear a loud shuffle in my mind thought it was the cat at first and then I realized that was too big of a sound to be my cat. Then I thought I was getting robbed or something and then I looked up and it was like a three year old buck about 250 pounds big antlers! We both looked at each other and jump scared, and both took off in opposite directions. It was kind of hilarious, but I was a little spooked after that, so I kinda had to set up a light outside so I could see better and the first few trips after that, I may have grabbed a PVC pipe in my off hand like I was in the game Doom or something lol. I wasn't able to fit all the pictures I took from harvesting. I'll have to add them to my next week after they're dry, of all the plants hanging. It seems like I've got my drying area carved out pretty good for the flowers space I have. Does suck having to move my drum set out for two weeks and freezing in my studio though but better than not having a decent drying space that's for sure I had my twine still up from during my auto flowers and utilized a few of those hanging from the ceiling to get a couple extra hangers in.

OMG THE CRYSTALS! Wow first time using any carbohydrates on hydro. I even went with a low dose of 5ml per gal to top it off! The buds grew funky shaped not sure why. But they are really filling in now! And the smell is amazing. Prob 5x stronger then the monther plant that finished flowering in soil not hydro. Hopefully the video uploads in the quality its recorded in, watch the end

Everything is great with these genetics. Great breeder. 100% of 11 seeds have made it to maturity. I have culled 2 males. I have 1 that has insane structure compared to its siblings. The only one with side branching was a male. I haven't culled it yet but I probably should asap
