First set of leaves were a bit light and what appears as some decent tip burn? Bucket was running hot on week two, but left it alone. She’s happy now that she’s starting to get the munchies. Most of the growth is looking decent. I’m going to top above the fourth node, and take the lower branches leaving 6 main branches to train. She’s topped but it looks like I will end up with 8 branches to play with. I may remove the bottom two?

Early week 6 update (i'll add more pictures and comments as needed): Unfortunately I hit some challenges! Light got way too close and stunted growth for a day. I noticed it on tips closest to the light only. Raised lamp to 22 inches. Indica bagseed (plant in the center front) got too stacked: stuff like leaves on top of each other with lots of moisture, no light/airflow penetration, etc. I did some basic LST, leaf tucking, net tucking, to open her up and go sideways more a bit at first. It helped a bit. Unfortunately aug 27, had to get more aggressive on this beast and remove 3 shade leaves on the right side. not happy about defoliating, but had to do it. Will see how she takes it and then look at left side on a later day. Growing the first time is educational and actually therapeutic in today's world for me. I've already learned so many lessons for the net time: don't need such a yuge pot, lamp brightness/distance, air circulation!!! Thank you to everyone that responds with positive encouragement/messaging, it really helps. Adding two more fans to help air circulation aug 28. hopefully it reduces the need to desecrate the plants! Meanwhile the plants in back (purple canyon) want to stretch their faces off, esp. the one in back left, so it is a balance. I only have so much vertical height :) aug 29, flipped to 12/12. plants are happy and i want to control the space for first grow. let's see how it goes. updated the humidity for the week to ~ 60. Ida etc has made it miserable, it should get better soon.

Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place, serious things can begin ! I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on hos they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. D-26 : Topping the girls. Hope everything is going to ok... Also feeding the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 25cm to 12cm.

Ok, so photos are finally in flower, autos will have to do with 12/12 till finish. A batch of 15 more photos is brewing outside the main door, all primo. Plan is to veg em out there for 4 weeks and then in the flower room. Will fill in missing spots with more autos and then a late auto run as batch 2 of photos finishes. Hello all and welcome to the much anticipated beginning of vegetation for these five Epsilon F1 Autos from Royal Queen Seeds. Allow me to introduce Ally, Normani, Lauren, Dinah, and Camila. All five girls have pushed put their 2nd node (3 fingers) and node 3 is on the way out. I expect all five girls to take off from here, and so the next seven days are going to be big. I will start fertigation today. For comparison purposes the Day 1 here means Day 1 of veg. For Ally, Normani, and Lauren this is day 11 since breaking ground, for Dinah day 10, and for Camila it is day 9. For the rest of this grow I will increment days from here but it's really easy to work out days since breaking ground as it is a simple matter of day + 10, 9, or 8 respectively. Day 1: Fertigated 2l. Day 2: Right ok. Can you actually believe this response in 24h? The poor girls were STARVING. Wow look at the change in color! Wow look at the growth!! Ally is most advanced, Camila least. It is fascinating so see them develop! They are growing faster and faster now. So let us talk about the elephant in the room a little bit. Phenotypes. At the moment there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that this crop will be anything other than uniform. Nevertheless there are some clear differences in some of the girls. So let's have a look shall we: Ally (center), Normani (closest to the middle purple basil), and Lauren (opposite side to Normani): These three girls are not quite identical, but it is a pretty challenging game of spot the difference. Dinah: Okay so Dinah is coming in noticeably darker than her sisters, with a little more tendency to claw, and with quite a bit larger and more angular serrations. Her first leaves are also a different shape. Camila: Little Camila had a twin, but I killed her with some overzealous tweezing before I realised what I had. She came in with only one cotyledon, and she came in last. Her first leaves are quite different to the rest of Fifth Harmony. She is also showing slighty more narrow leaves. She is lastly also very slightly more pale than her sisters. Are these phenotype differences? I mean in terms of the environment, feeding, watering, substrate, temperature, light, airflow... well these girls are all in the same pot, so unless I am particularly haphazard in my mixing and fertigation (which I can assure you I am not) I do not think it likely that these ladies have significant enough environmental difference to account for these quite clear visual differences. I am absolutely fascinated to continue to witness this, and it has only now occurred to me what a great privilege it is to be able to grow the world first F1 cannabis hybrids, and what an astounding honor to be one of the very first hobby growers to do so! The fact that RQS made this happen by not only supplying the seeds and other merch and goodies, but also sending expedited international shipping so as to fit within my arbitrary timescales is almost unbelievable. When these guys (on their website) say that it is their belief and mission to forge the path to worldwide legalisation, they are not hollow corporate whispers, it is their core of being. Cannabis everywhere is truly blessed to have such a worthy and proactive ambassador. Bravo RQS! I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 3: Well look at this growth again!! These ladies have responded to feeding really well. Fertigated 3l. Day 4: Growth is accelerating fast, these ladies will be ready for their first training soon. I am starting to formulate an idea what to do. I am thinking of topping Ally and LST on the rest. Day 6: Fertigated 3l. Ladies growing fast now. Will soon be time to start training. However! The secondary nodes are developing strongly. Hmmm Day 7: Fertigated 3l. Defoliated the three fingered leaves from Ally and tucked the five fingered under other plants. End if week summary: Well when they said "hybrid vigour" they were not joking. Look at day 1 and day 7 side by side after approx 6 days into veg growth. Wow.

5/3/2020 this is my first grow. Today I took the seedlings and put them in there pots. Tomorrow ill start the lights. I added... 2 tsp Big Bloom ¼ tsp Holy Mackerel 1 tsp Boomerang 5/4/2020 I just checked on the seedlings. There both already popping there heads out of the ground already. 5/5/2020 Turned the light on for the first time for this grow and for the first real time ever. Added: 1 tsp Kelp I kelp you ¼ tsp Kangaroots ¼ Microbe Brew 5/6/2020 First real leafs sprouted today! 5/7/2020 Nothing to report today. A rest day. I will be just giving the. Plain water for the next couple weeks. 5/8/2020 I gave her a little less than ½ gallon of PH'd water. (Around 6.5PH) I can see the 2nd set of leafs growing. And she's about 1¼" tall. 5/9/2020 She's seems to be coming a little slow. I'm worried I messed something up. Overwaterkng lights to close? Idk. Im more worried about the Zkittlez Auto a little more than this g.g. I'd really hate to see i messed them both up. * also added a vent to the outside for the exaust fan. I think this will help a ton and it seems to be working pretty good. I'm going to be getting a Ac Infinity cloudline t4 fan in pretty soon this will help a ton.

End of week 5 for Purple Lemonade FF. This week was better than the last week. She's bouncing back from her issues.She is still developing and stretching slowly. No signs of pre-bloom yet. I just fed her Goldleaf feterlizer and I did some defoliation to the bad leaves. Hopefully week 6 is better.

From sprout, I've been watering every 3-4 days. Been very consistent with this. Yellow tips been appearing. I think it could be Magnesium or Calcium deficiency. Hit it with some Calmag with iron.
