AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.

Rolling into Week 5! We had a bit of a weather shift this week—the sun was mostly hiding, we dealt with some rainy days, and the nighttime temperatures dropped down to a chilly 10°C. But no need to worry, she handled the colder nights like a champ and kept right on progressing. I’m continuing to work her with some LST, making sure to keep all the growing tips at the exact same level to encourage an even, flat canopy. For hydration, I'm still keeping it simple and watering about twice a week. Appearance & Flowering: She has definitely widened out this week! While she’s spreading her wings, she isn’t quite as densely bushy as the Black Orchid, which is actually going to be perfect for airflow and light penetration. Just like with the videos, I don’t shoot randomly and decide later. I record what matters, and what I record, I use. It keeps me focused, organized, and deeply connected to the process — and I believe it helps me tell the story more clearly, whether through stills or moving pictures. Each one expressing unique traits, but all carrying the same stunning quality — dense, clean, colorful, resin-rich flowers that fill the room with pride. But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. This week has been amazing full of growth

Day 50 - Starting week 8 and looks like her stretching has just about stopped and hopefully now she’ll really start packing on the flowers. She’s getting fairly dry already so she’ll get another round of plain water tomorrow then the feeding after that, she’ll get some nutes. She’s got a couple of burnt tips from the nutes but not many so I’ll continue at the dosage I’m using. Day 52 - Didn’t get the chance to update yesterday but she got two gallons of water and nutes. I’m seeing a few leaves starting to lighten up a bit so thinking she’s gonna need higher doses of nutes so next feeding I’ll up the dosage. Other than that, just trying to keep everything tucked nicely in the tent and the flowers are really starting to stack up nicely. Day 54 - Overall she’s looking good and really starting to pack on the flowers. I am a little worried because she’s got a little yellowing going on with some of the upper to middle leaves but not too bad. Hoping I fixed the issue with a nutrient feeding the other day cause pH and everything are all good, right in mid to upper 6’s. Just gonna keep an eye on her and make sure it doesn’t get worse. As long as she’s packing on flower, she should be ok. Day 55 - All still looking good and not noticing any new leaves yellowing so hoping I caught the deficiency early enough. Other than that, flowers are really filling in nicely. She’s got another day or two before she needs some water.

Let’s Go Day 67 from seed !! So this week went real great! 2 Ogreberrys an Bruce Banner started getting flushed! The rest will follow up and start flush next week ! Today the 3 will continue getting flushed while the 3 others get there dose of nutrients, PHd at 6.5! Let’s grow lil ladies let’s grow!!! Weekly update on these couple. One got the chop for some fresh frozen bubble wash and these two still have another week for the one and only a couple days for the other. They smell like a bakery and are covered in frost. All in in an easy one to grow and produces amazing flowers and yields.
