I purchased these seeds along with 100+ others (individual seeds, not packs) in late 2006 and early 2007 by sending Western Union money orders to the UK in birthday cards along with my seed order. My only recourse was crossing my fingers and hoping that my seeds would eventually arrive. What I found was that the “Buy it Now” option on Seedbay turned out to be pretty reliable. They used to have a Nirvana 4 pack deal for a very reasonable price ($50, I think). European seed producers at the time were very guarded with the lineage in their crosses, but the common thought was that Nirvana was taking known elite Dutch cultivars of the time and breeding them with a Skunk #1 male and producing ‘knock offs’. AK-48 was AK-47xSk1, Blue Mystic = Blueberry x Sk1, Bubblicious = Bubble GumxSk1, Jock Horror = Jack x Sk1. The point being, there ended up being a lot of variation in packs, but also some keepers were there to be found. I did some growing at that time, but ended up buying a ton of seeds that I never used. As a daily user for almost 30 years now, self sufficiency made/makes a lot of sense. A couple years ago I decided to get back into growing my own herb after being disappointed and underwhelmed with the quality of flower from the dispensaries.

Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!! Update for grow question: @The8thChevron thanks!!! I pulled them and will hope for the best for now. So close to the finish line. If I see more trouble brewing I will pull the plant. Die Woche über hat sich die Pflanze gut entwickelt. Ein paar Triebe und Fächerblätter habe ich herausgeschnitten. Zum Ende der Woche habe ich das Cover Crop abgeschnitten; Kickflip, gemalzte Gerste, das CalMagic Kit und IMO4 eingearbeitet und anschließend wieder das Cover Crop als Mulchschicht aufgelegt. Wenn Ich das Bittersalz eingegossen habe werde ich hier noch Hanfmulch aufbringen.

First plant, 174.2 grams, super excited, not real happy with how buds looked, not sure if gentics weren't the best for this one but has airy buds except for where the tops were. Still smokes good so no real complaints.

The Orange Hill Special is finishing! She has compact and dense buds that have grown in. The waiting is on the amber trichomes now, which I'm giving her time for! There are some more faded leaves and she is clearly rounding it up. The smells in the room (and the house are getting very pungent and were happy we don't have many visitors in the coming days! We are beyond camouflage. She has some more space as I've taken out the Gorrila for darkness. That one was way more done, but this one needs one more week, I gather. Beautiful pheno of Black cherry punch with that purple color, amazing sweet aroma just like her sisters. Fat dense nuggets, can't wait to smoke this super sweet flowers. You guys can't imagine how sweet black cherry punch is, can't believe the 5 phenos have the exact same aroma however only 2 are purple. Day 16. This is the second seed planted, lost the first to stretching (light height, my fear of burning is at fault), almost lost this one too. But now it is strengthening its main stem and growing nodes.

🌿 Schönen Sonntag & einen entspannten 1. Advent aus der richtigen Zeitzone =) 🌱 Wochenupdate Diese Woche wurde echt viel gefummelt 😄 Im Fokus standen Canopy-Aufbau und selektives Entlauben =) Bin da wirklich pingelig und könnte das den ganzen Tag machen… echt schlimm 😅 Was ich jetzt schon sagen kann: Blueberry Cupcake hat mit Abstand den krassesten Stretch hingelegt. Purpz hat ihren Platz auch relativ gefüllt, performt echt gut und ist fast gleichauf mit BBCC. Notorious zieht auch, soll aber wohl etwas später definierter drücken. Mir gefällt ihr Wachstum richtig gut. Guzzlerz macht sich auch echt gut für ihren schlechten Start. Ihre Sides gehen mittlerweile richtig steil. Ein paar mehr Triebe wären nice gewesen, aber da lag sicher auch einiges an mir.. :D Abseits meiner Dummheiten lief alles absolut smooth. Eine tolle Veg und richtig gute Stretch-Phase bis jetzt =D🔥 🌿 Pflanzenstatus & Training Ich halte die Canopy aktuell noch flach – für zwei, drei Tage =) Anschließend steht das Verteilen auf die Meshes an. Danach dürfen sie endlich nach oben =D Die Richtungen sind grob gelegt, erste Ansätze sieht man auch schon =D Ich kann’s echt nicht erwarten… Budporn ist einfach magisch 😄🔥 Über die Tage sind immer wieder größere oder verdrehte Blätter rausgeflogen – hauptsächlich, um Luft und Licht auf möglichst viele Triebe zu bekommen 😊 Man kann wirklich ohne Bedenken ~30 % Biomasse rausnehmen, wenn die Vitalität das zulässt, ohne sichtbaren Stop im Wachstum 🌱 🌬️ Luft & Ventilation Hab jetzt noch zwei Clip-Ventis dazugezogen. Die Angst vor Schimmel kickt langsam wieder =D Es laufen jetzt zwei unter und zwei über der Canopy – jeweils gegenüberliegend und zirkulierend. Ich muss gestehen, dass ich den Boundary-Layer-Disruption-Effekt kenne bzw. davon weiß, und ihn durchaus stimmig finde 😊 Aber bis jetzt war die Angst vor Schimmel in irgendeiner Ecke doch größer 😂 Ich hab nicht den Eindruck, dass es negativ ist, zirkulierende Luft auf die Pflanzen zu richten, solange man nicht voll draufpustet 💨 ⚙️ System Läuft nach wie vor stabil =) Die Top-Ups halten die Nährlösung sauber auf Kurs. Gestern hat sich klar abgezeichnet, dass wir mitten im Stretch-Peak sind 😄 Sie ziehen massiv Kationen und verursachen dadurch einen deutlich messbaren pH-Drop. Das ist für mich das Signal, das Training in den nächsten Tagen zu beenden 🌿😊 800 PPFD 1,0 kPa VPD 700–800 ppm CO₂ im Durchschnitt 💚 Special Mention Der Aufwärtstrend setzt sich fort 😊 Man mag es kaum glauben, aber sie macht sich wirklich gut – sie deckt sogar etwas mehr als die Hälfte ihres Quadranten ab 💚 Bin echt froh, dass sie es geschafft hat und meinen Scheiß noch mitgetragen hat 😂 Danke fürs Lesen echt verrückt, wie viele inzwischen dabei sind – freut mich wirklich mega 😊💛 Eine schöne, entspannte Adventszeit euch allen 🌲😊
