Tis Fruit Tartare has grown on some pretty buds by now and waaaaauw the colour she's got is amazing. The purple has gotten even more darker and intense , she's a real beauty. I'm guessing she has got another two to three weeks to go, so Im hoping for her buds to get a little thicker and denser before she goes.

July 1: tied one down using 12 gauge wire. Soil might be a bit too rich for two of these three plants with the tied down plant being the best so far.

This week unfortunately I accidentally snapped a branch off but other than that mess up she's been having allot of vigorous growth and looks like she's loving her low stress training I'm applying.. looking forward to the flower sites forming and her to fully bloom

Run off:30% Run off ph: 6.1 Run off EC 2.4 I believe the run off ec is so high is because the coco mix I used is pre blended with charge. The reason I think this is today feed was the highest EC I’ve done and that was 1.5 EC. —- Day 9 —- Increased her base nutrients by .5ml/l it added an extra 0.3 ec that yesterday feed, but the sound of the medium Snap crackle and popping it quite relaxing. Is this the zen water at work? Final EC: 1.8 Run Off: 27% Run Off PH: 6.0 Run Off EC: Still way over what it mean to be but it’s going down, I still believe it’s too do with Ecothrive Charge being in the coco already. Apr 17, Day 7 - VPD 1.1 - Turned on flower light on UnitFarm this afternoon and they are happier. - Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting. - Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now. - She is doing well. Second set of leaves out, will be working on third soon. Wide leaves. She is leaning a bit🍺🍷😃👌

Day 28-35 (May 28th - June 4th) (Day 29) My rooted blackberry #3 clone looks like it’s finally starting to reveg. It’s starting to stretch it’s internodes but no new growth yet. Nearly all 9 are pushing roots now. What a waste of time taking clones in flower! Won’t ever do that again. Grapefruit #1 has a twin! I thought it was just an odd formation on the taproot but two seedlings are pushing out. I wonder if it will be genetically identical. It’s definitely slower growing than the other one so who knows. I will try to train them apart when the time comes. (Day 30) I think the EC/PPMs are too high on nearly every plant including my veggies. The promix is actually really hot for a “blank” medium coming in at 1800. Adding compost and amendments to that is probably raising it to 2500+ at least. It should self balance the more I water it but I know for a fact I can get better growth by leaching the soil around each plant. Next time I use promix for anything, I’m going to prewash it like coco coir and add a dash of oyster shell flour for pH and calcium. (Day 32) Purple tuna is now big enough to start lst on now. I’m going to wait a little while for the slurricanes. (Day 33) One of the grapefruits has a twin that actually popped... I’m going to leave it and see how she turns out (Day 35) I’m going to prune off the lower leaves on each plant. I was going to lst Purple tuna but it’s so vigorous I may as well just top/mainline it. Autoflowers are looking established and should be taking off this week. I wonder if this will give them enough time to veg into decent sized plants before they flower. I won’t be topping or even doing lst. My goal is 22 big spear colas from each plant. I’m going to get all my rooted clones into 1.7 gallon pots over the next week or so.

8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. EDIT: WATERED THE TENTH PLANET AND THE LATE SOECIAL KUSH 1 GAL. PLAN ON FEEDING TOMORROW. I DID A SHIT TON OF DEFOLIATION. I DONT SEE ADULT THRIPS BUT I SEE THE EGGS AND SHIT IN THE CREVICE AND SOMETHING IS COMING AND EARING SMALL LOWER FOLIAGE. If I can't beat it I may junk them. I'm planning on treatingvtge plants I didn't yesterday tonight. I may use a different treatment I'm not sure. EDIT: Went back over and took a few pics and a video. I defoliated a SHIT TON of leaves. I can just tell the ones that the thrips have been sucking and laying eggs. It's windy as hell. Plants are going crazy. I'm wondering if the wind will hurt the thrips. Maybe I should've just stood with the wind at my back and throw a buNch of D.E. in the air and have it coat the plants. I'm scared of using d.e. because it absorbs so much water. It's like 80%! The year I had fusarium I put a bunch of d.e. on the soil and it retained water like a mofo. The plants I treated showed no I'll effects. I'm th8nkobg I'm going to remove patient zero and isolate it. And I'm considering using spinosad on the pink kush. What would you do? If you had to use something in the middle of flower or loss your crop which would you choose? I'll probably just use citric acid or the rubbing alcohol. I don't know. I'll keep it updated. Beautiful strain, very very purple intense color, will make content on her by the day, can't really show very well the plants at night but I had to update the diary so, sorry about that. Very citric aroma just like her sisters, wonderful strain to grow and harvest fast. And she makes your garden look more colorful. I love this auto strain guys very recomended.

This is the start of my second grow and also second Northern Light Auto from RQS, the goal is to hit #1 in g/plant for that Strain. I didn't take as many notes as in the last grow but there are timelapses, some photos and metrics from probes. Started with 3 Seeds and then picked the 2 strongest. The System is a NFT System but due to the size of the tube and root growths the solution with submerge the roots ~70% later on. To combat that I use 3 small 1.5w air pumps, these are super silent, if one dies I got 2 more running and to be honest air pumps used in DWC systems are often oversized and rely on Broscience. In my Salad/Herb NFT Systems I don't use any air pumps and the plants are just fine and grow great. This time I added sprinklers to humidify the air inside the tube, slightly moisturize the Rockwool and speed up root growths. Spoiler: Was a great success :) The ratios for the fertilizers are not accurate in the following weeks, I have a 120l Reservoir that is filled 90-110l I top it up once or twice a week to sustain PH and EC, if you want to copy it just go by the EC and use the B (Calcinit) and A (Kristalon Blue/Orange) 50/50. I mix the solution myself with dry salts that I bought in bulk 25kg bags. 4l Water(distilled/RO preferably, tap water is OK) + 1kg salts mixes just fine, keep the solution dark and cool and it will stay stable for months. Dry salts don't expire if kept cool and dry so only mix what you need and keep the rest stored as dry salts. 40ml A + 40ml B is about 2EC and 6PH with my tap water, very similar to Canna, Plagron etc. isn't it? just with the twist that I pay ~20% of the known brands. P2O5, K2O, MgO etc. are always the same as long as they are produced by a good manufacturer, Yara is a world leader in fertilizer production just not to be found in you general hydroponics or hardware store. Any other known manufacturer is fine as well, pick the cheapest. Check Hoocho on Youtube to see a guide on how to mix your own solutions, it ain't that difficult trust me. From week 5 onwards I also use Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) if you want to use this check pool supply stores and buy the cheapest. Keep this one dry, cool and dark. I used a old pill bottle to keep some ready to go because it came in a 1kg container and I only need 2-4g per serving + the bottle has a silica pack in the cap. From week 6 onwards I used Haifa Grow Clean for Details check week 6, I use this one as dry salts and add it directly to the tank, it does not interact in a bad way with the solution. For meassurements I use a generic 8in1 Meter "PH-W218" branded by many companies, as usual, check stores and buy the cheapest. (Check week 1 for an image of it) I got mine from Aliexpress for ~70€ it uses the Tuya app so you can always check your metrics and export them aswell. The PH and EC probe are accurate and are giving me stable results for almost 1 year now, I re calibrate the PH probe once in a while and it is tops 0.15 off after a month, always double check your results with PH drops/paper. Bluelab is... A LOT more expensive for less value. For the timelapses I use 2 Tappo C210 2k Cameras, these have the ability to make the stream available trough RTSP so that you can access it trough a link in a browser and that way I snap a Screenshot with a raspberry pi :) after that I just render it with blender to a timelapse.
