Had to do a root wash, again, also cut some really bad roots of, also saw lots of new healthy root growths since last week, upping ORP and wash last week seemed to have helped. Overall still very unhappy but that is on me, learned that prepping a plant in DWC and then transplant it to NFT is not a good idea, better do it as usual directly in NFT so that the roots follow the stream better, usually at this time there would be at least 3x the amount of roots. Also switched back to the 10cm diameter tube, will stick with that one from now on, very good experiences in the past and this one does not, maybe RH does not rise enough in a 16cm diameter tube. Also changed the light cycle to 18/6 from 24/0, in the timelapse I see phases where the leafs droop slightly and come back, kind of like the night cycle but less, seems to me like the plant wants to go to "sleep" even tough it was raised in 24/0 and I have good experiences with 18/6. as the second week of June is just on it's end and the weather has had it's ups and downs with a lot of rain and some nice sunny days the plants keep growing day by day. The tallest plant reached a height of 86 centimeters or 33.85 inch so i'm getting close to the 1 meter mark. But hopefully they will grow much bigger as they have plenty of time left. Last year i a grew Blue Dream and a Chocolope in pots which reached a total height of 1,38 meter, which both yielded 30 grams each. What i should mention about the plants from last year is that the seeds weren't bought but came out of a friends weed. So this year it was all out with premium seeds, more knowledge and experience, great soil and hopefully the best weather

for my nutrients I have been giving 3.75 ml per gallon of fox farm grow big and 2.5 ml of fox farm tiger blood I feed them every time they need watering... I have not seen any burnt tips so they must be handling the nutes well. More and more preflowers are coming out. I am just going to say we are starting flowering this week, im guessing she will start flowering for sure by the end of this 5th week.

La planta sigue ramificando e inicia la pre floración, se prepara para dar el último estiron. Mientras tanto yo le cambié el fotoperiodo a 20/4 y le agregué un foco de sodio de 400w a los 200w de cfl que ya tenía en vegetación. Volví a ajustar el lst creo que por última vez antes de dejarlas ser hasta el final. Riego cada 4 días aproximadamente con 2L de agua estacionada con ph entre 6.2 y 6.4. Ayer le tocó agua pura y en cuanto me pida más le daré un poquito de extracto de algas de top crop. Big one y top auto en muy bajas dosis, pues la planta no ha mostrado signos de deficiencia alguna.. Hice un riego foliar con aceite de Neem, extracto de canela y jabón potásico a modo preventivo. Ha respondido bien a la nueva luz, la distancia entre el sodio y la copa es de 60cm, iré acortando más adelante 10cm más si la temperatura me lo permite, La sigo!

Getting closer to being able to sex the plants week 5 or 6 I should have a definite answer on the 3 remaining healthy plants I can start to smell them a little I have a feeling these are gonna be pungent when they start to flower. I think they might be girls but still no preflowers got something that looks like it might be but I don't want to start my seed making process un till I am sure, and "when" I hope to get at least one lady I will clone up to my maximum of 6 plants. the Dry amendments seem to be doing there job do not let the photos fool you they are a healthy mint green. Today was Just the way I like it simple. No pest still lucky me. Noticed lower bud sites are forming today. Today was nute feed I reduced the calmag and the floragro by 4ml/gal and raised the bloom by 4ml/gal. Can’t wait to see what the yield will be.

Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!
