Trichomes are almost cloudy. The smell is pungent as she ripens. Bulked up this week and the hairs are darkening brown. I don't see any fade but as soon as those trichomes hit 10-20% amber, that's a wrap for this lady. Overall a nice strain to grow from Original Sensible Seeds. Genetics are strong with vigorous growth and she took very well to topping. The only real problem that I faced was that I ran out of the ph down that I use so I picked up some Root Farm ph down which I don't recommend using because the ppm was 980 with just water. I calibrated my meter and the reading was 978 ppm. I'm not sure if this is straight acid or piss in a bottle but wtf? Well a grower pointed out nute burn so I then checked the ppm and wowsers it was over 3000 ppm. Quickly rectified with a flush and back in business with Root Farm no more lol yeah I got complacent down the stretch not checking the runoff but lesson learned. Huge week in the tent. Lollipopping. Defoliation. Redid the LST ties. Added height to the plants to level the canopy. Added the blumats self watering setup. The tent got a total makeover. They look healthy otherwise.

Very Nice looking and good Smelling Plant. Buds after Trim are medium dense but very tasty. Flavourwise it goes into ripe Berrys with a hint of Citrus and Soapyness in the background. The Plant looks exactly like on the pictures High-Giraffe-Seeds shows on their website. All in all definetly a recommendable Plant to grow.

Reaching for the sky. This is the strain I created & this is my first time growing it. It's a regular photoperiod strain I hope it's a girl so I can hopefully taste what my hard work created!

Day 22: Started on LST today. For the first time ever I removed 1or 2 of the big fan leaves before bending the plant over. These leaves would have become trapped under the plant so i would be removing them later anyway so I thought it would be easier to do so beforehand. I also removed the first pair of nodes after the cotyledon. To reduce the risk slowing down or stunting growth I done this bit of defoliation under a very dim light, half way through the 6 hour lights out night schedule when all the plants hormones would have been returned to the roots.. Day23: Continued with more LST pinning down branches. Day 24: Small bit more LST toady and also moved plant from the veg space with CFL’s to the main grow space in under the LED lights. There’s a good few pistils starting to show. Day 25: Watered with light dose of nutrients (1m G). Took around 3 litres. Day 27: Removed the biggest low down fan leaf. Day 28: Removed one more big fan leaf but in the process accidentally removed a branch also. Mr.Nelson was pretty pissed. But you know what they say “What doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger”. Han suggested I don’t use that phrase with Mr.Nelson.

This week they hung out of the tent to catch some natural sunlight ☀️ Fast and steady growth keeps increasing, with Bruce being the clear standout. Extra bushy and huge, huge leaves! Very impressed by her structure at such a young age. Curious to see her evolution. Sherbet is also on a very good track, can barely tell she had an issue to begin with. Biscotti also going strong. Guava Runtz – Week 7 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) The weather has been excellent. Guava Runtz continues to enjoy lots of sun and consistent nutrients. She has reached around 37 cm and is growing visibly bushier. You can clearly see her entering the flowering stage now. She has a nice sturdy structure and healthy green color. Really happy with how she is developing.

Day 60 of 12/12 HARVEST TIME They are soooo fine I barely have words. Weak-neck gland trait is a fact. I was collecting FRESH, "WET" (non-dried) flowers for Fresh Frozen - the amount of trichome heads just breaking off during that process was astounding. Air was full of trichome heads every time I touched a branch or a bud. I repeat - it was non-dried flowers, straight from a branch, from alive, watered plant - and I collected a few grams of loose heads in my TrimBin. Crazy stuff. I also pressed it and I got top-shelf rosin - without dryiyng and sieving or bubble ice wash. Mind blown 🤯 8 plants 60 days (8.5 weeks) of flowering under 12/12 4x4 ft tent 466W Mars Hydro light = 2166g of Whole Plant Fresh Frozen material (just trimmed buds + some trichome-covered leaves) Now floweres are in deep freeze -36°C waiting to be washed for bubble hash and pressed into live rosin in the near future.

Well that was a special day, it always make me sad in a way, but this time, I enjoyed the moment a lot. As I wrote in a reply to a comment, things can always be better, and they are with good decisions at the right time. This is the middle plant, not planned for this cycle but one of the 3 Tropicana didn't germinate so I took the Gorrilla Girl I had left from the last cycle, and I'm quite thankful for that! It's so nice to have these geneti contrasts, colors, aromas, shapes. Many thanks for all the help you gave, precious. 19/04/2024 lower popcorn buds seems dried already! But still branches don't crack on bends. Will check again on Monday.

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.
