In my experience, this technique helps the plants transition more smoothly and accelerates their hormonal shift into flowering. It’s a method that has consistently worked well for me, and I encourage growers to explore different approaches to find what best suits their setup. The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. Current Environmental & Nutrient Data Water pH: 6.0 Water EC: 1.36 Water Temperature: 16°C (a bit low, will be adjusting soon) Soil EC: 1.44 Soil Temperature: 20°C (decent but could be slightly higher) Maintaining the right balance of temperature, pH, and EC is essential for a successful flowering phase, so I’ll be keeping a close eye on these numbers and making any necessary adjustments as we progress. Stopped the organics as this could be causing the leaf claw. Won't defoliate for the foreseeable future as i think this is enough. Feed is 2.15k ppm. Had to use TaNLiN as had a fungus gnat problem. One drop into the water and a stir done the job after about a week or 2. Seem to be watering this every day. Always empty the runoff after 20 mins of watering. 18-24 hours later the soil will be practically dry.

Hello!, Day 60 Flower I just done the my first harvest ever. Gelat og has cool looking buds, After seen the BUD ROT on one single bud in day 59 yesterday , Today in Day 60 i just cut the plant down for Dry. Going to WASH the buds with H202 (half of them) and going to dry for 10-14 Days and in to Jars for another 14-21 Days as I learned from fellow growmies. Very happy with this girl here. She is stretching at good pace and putting pre-flower all over. I can't wait for this one to be ready.

we entered flowering that's so beautiful purple color everywhere but she just started so let's watch her full out . still on bat poo diet

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

super!!! girl, mature :) I didn't increase the light intensity this week :) it's 32° in the suitcase during the day, which is a lot, but she's coping well with it, this week I'll move the suitcase to a cooler room and hope to lower the temperature to at least 30° :) good luck to everyone.

But it's outdoor rules. But the ladies are doing good : -SSW#3 were topped + suppercroped thanks to Tazard & Lumberjack advices I think she's doing right ( many thanks guys 😍). She's 20 cm tall now -SSW#1 Will not be topped , I'm just doing a light LST on her by bending each secondary stems with my fingers everyday and you can see a "good" result on the pictures. She's 34 cm tall -SSW#2 is late on the secondary stems but tall , I still don't know if I'm gonna train her. She's the tallest with 39cm
