Hello Diary. The first week of vegetation is over. The plants thrive nicely, look healthy and satisfied. 😀 Purple Punch # 1 grew 11 cm in the first week of vegetation while Purple Punch # 2 reached 7 cm. I remind you that I had to repeat the germination of another Purple Punch, so it’s lower. In addition to the nutrients that I mixed into the soil at planting, I started adding BioBizz’s Root-Juice. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, so the humidity varies between 50% and 60%. With Purple Punch on the “Farm” there is also one Watermelon Auto that keeps them company. Let’s see what the first week looked like. 27/01/2021 - Day 1. Official first day of vegetation. 29/01/2021 - Day 3. Watering. I prepared 4 liters of water but each plant got about 1 liter. p.H. I regulated with Plagron’s Lemon Kick at 6.1 and added 4ml / lit Root-Juice from BioBizz. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 22.9 degrees and 50% humidity. 02/02/2021 - Day 7. Photographing and watering. After the photo shoot, I watered the plants, each getting about 1.5 lit. This time I didn't add any extras I just adjusted the p.H to 6.3. and the water temperature was 20.2 degrees. So, first of all, I want to say that I´ll be doing the diaries in a weekly updates way, instead of day by day, not only because it is less heavy on me, but I think it´s a better and more attractive reading. So, tell me if you prefer day by day or weekly updates please! Thanks! So, this week was pretty good, thricomes are looking pretty close to harvest. About 90% cloudy, with a little amber and clear. Watered with regular water and didn´t feed her. Flushed it with regular water on day 74, looked like it had still lots of nutes/salts buildup. And about flushing: I saw a really good study (I can link if it´s of interest for someone) showing that flushing isn´t really required, specially if you´re doing organic grows. It was really well explained and had solid arguments and comparisons, even tho, I flushed her in order to see if it really makes a difference. On day 76 when i first opened the tent in the day, she was all the way to the floor, almost hitting 2 tiny girls on the tent. Since she doesn´t had any strenght to support herself, I used some ropes to mantain her up. In resume: The week´s been really nice, she´s beautiful as hell with some purples and I´ve learnt some really good stuff as well.

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. Safe to say we're heading into flower. I'm pretty close to full strength on the nutrients at this point. Still defoliating and filling in the screen. Plant on the right is slightly behind as far as kicking into flower. Some yellowing browning just starting a tips. I'll change out the water tomorrow (on day 49). Averaging water changes every 12 days. Day 49: Did not change water today, will on day 52 or 53 instead. Decided it could just be the light being too close. Moved it up and did a little lst above the screen. All done removing branches and leaves. Great end to the first week of flower.

7/3 fed her some slf-100 and some recharge. She seems happy and super developed for how young she is. Not necessarily very tall but shes got a lot of nodes and seems far into her life for only just starting week 2 7/5 growing just fine. I attempted some LST that failed. Shes too short and stocky

Green House feeded one is simply the happiest lady in the tent, growing big frosty buds. Advanced Nutrients one is recovering and growing colorful buds. Both phenos smell like grapes just like described in the name…

Tag 82: Ach ich hab mich doch mal entschlossen mit 1.5 Liter Flaschenwasser + CalMag ein paar Spülungstage zu machen . Dieses im Vegetativen Zelt mit der 100W von Spiderfarmer auf extrem niveau (25cm Abstand) . DAs ballert nochmal schön auf die Trichome .

An important event marked this week: plants were indeed heavily defoliated. This was possible also due to their strong (and positive) reaction to the tea (Organic Compost Tea by Soil With Attitude) received last week. All plants are literally exploding with life. 💪
