Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually. Please let me know in the comments if you think I should just push it to the max right away. I would like to thank HESI nutrients team for sending me a great Starter Pack! It became clear to me when I opened the tent two days ago. There they were, sticking out one of the main cola’s, it was almost impossible to miss them: 2 bright lime green banana’s. It was like the little dicks were smiling to me. I immediately removed them and search all the plants thoroughly multiple times for more, but didn’t found one. So, I guess I’m now a member of the ‘hermies club’. As for the cause: I suspect light stress. The light was close on the canopy, a little closer than (for example) dr. Cocoforcannabis recommends for this light. I found the two banana’s on Jannine and the bud that had them, is the one that’s almost in the middle of the tent, where the light is the brightest. The plant on the left, Kim, was also showing some foxtailing on her highest buds. Hence, I raised the lights 6-7 centimeters. Hopefully, I took away the cause of the hermies; off course, I’m keeping a sharp eye on the buds, but I haven’t found any more than those two. Also, EC of the drain tends to go up, hence every few days, I now just give them plain pH’ed water, to prevent high EC spikes. The trichomes are developing nicely. I bought a jeweler's loupe to study them, because with my USB microscope it’s almost impossible to get a clear picture (I don’t have a steady hand). The girls are 7 weeks into flower: there are no amber trichomes, but most trichomes are partly cloudy (30~50%) and a minority is still fully clear. I guess two more weeks before harvest, maybe 1,5 week. I switch to GHE Ripen later this week. I didn’t use such a product during my first grow, so I’m curious to see if it does something good. Besides the two (hopefully sterile) banana’s, the plants look and smell great. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe & keep growing!

She grew about 3 inches this week maybe more but I’ve pinned her limbs out as much as possible. At the beginning of the week, she was 11 inches tall, 2/13 she is14 inches tall. I’ve moved the pins out to the edge of the pot. For future training, I must add some wires through the pot holes to keep the branches lower. I’ve spread the top out and a few limbs are taller than the others. I reduced nutrients to half strength in the feed solution and will continue the same formula thru til flush. I added Green Sensation this week then read the instructions said add in 4th week flower. Love Potion Auto is an auto to be an 11 week flower from seed to harvest. If I wait till the 4th week, it will only be used for 2 maybe 3 weeks. Would that benefit the plant? So I think I will add some each time but a 25% strength. Calls for 4ml/g I will use 1ml. They are autos and I should be lowering the nutes anyway. Pinned more branches and lightly defoliatied. I didn’t want to take too many leaves off this time. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back. Day 65 Day 30 Flower Seeing nice stretching and spacing on nodes are still kept tight, strong but small structure. Nice hues coming through on the tops fans. Minor lollipopping and defoliating done today. Not much else to say, Stay high my growmie ✌️🚀💚 Day 68 Day 33 F - Final lollipopping and defoliating today. She really is starting to develope. Node spacing is nice, bud sites forming, nice hues and glistening. Applied feed today. Small compact looking plant, but hoping to see them top shelf grade dense nuggets with this technique and strain 😍- we can hope

They are healthy but i see some calcium deficiency on the leaves, I will supplement the plant despite my water contain a good amount of calcium. I don't think it's a mag exces. Overall they grow very well and produce good size buds for the

Today first day of 3rd week i tryed second FIM on this plant after the early one. I am only trying to learn so not sure for now that i am doing good but hope for better.
