The Blumats are pretty much dialed in after a few days. I used 5ml of flying skull Z7 enzyme in my 5 gal reservoir to keep the reservoir clean. I also have been ph correcting the reservoir every morning to 5.8-6.0. The first day of week 4 I hand watered in Nutrients mix until runoff(about half gal). I removed the large fan leaves on all three plants, then I tied Down all my Mains to keep them horizontal. I applied another half gal of Nutrients mix on the 4th day of week 4. On the 6th day of week 4 I experienced a runaway with my Blumats because I changed the settings too much at once and flooded my grow box. I used a shop vac to suck up all the runoff. I refilled my reservoir, added enzymes and lowered the ph to 6.0. I then dialed in the blumats based on Blumats instructions and will only adjust in micro adjustments this time to avoid another runaway 😬 Luckily running in Coco Coir having the girls over saturated wasn't the worst thing and the roots are sucking up a lot of the extra moisture in the medium happily 😀

Day 16: These ladies are now nearly.at the end of their stretch I think. They are all forming decent looking flowers now and have sent a few mains skyward to mark their territory Wedding cake is an impressive girl . She is full of mains to develop and also has a lot of secondaries below decks on each of her main 4-way branches. She has trained out fairly well and is holding her shape well. Flowers are looking as they should and plentiful too. Her stems are nice and strong for the upcoming beast she will become. Ghost O.g is still an odd looking girl but is fighting for some good mains to be in the running now. she hasnt stretched too much in general but her lowers have certainly entered the race. She is a very chunky classy too. GG#4 has begun to get over my drowning of her roots with too high water levels in the tank. She hasnt held back too much really as she is the tallest of her group. In typical Gorilla strain style she still has skinny limbs but a few good heads forming flowers too now. Overall , things are doing ok and my error has given them a hurdle to overcome . Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Ganja Farmer seeds Ak 2.0 XL auto Day 32 from sprout ViparSpectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Watering every other day to every 2 days LST has worked well thus far with this strain. I am happy with how she is filling out and cant wait to see how much larger she gets. I am posting photos and the timeline from earlier this week. some apicals of Strawberry Lemonade became albinos maybe for too much light, they're however covered wit trichomes. I think thr Tropicana banana is a little bit late with the flowering compared to strawberry, I think about 2 weeks. Let's keep pushing!!👽

Been a rough week and you can see she’s struggling with the heat! It’s been over 95 degrees for a few days now and I’ve been watering the daylights out of her. Kinda stunted from the heat.

I have been checking them every other day now and this is the week they'll be 'going dark' before I chop and hang them to dry. 12/5- I'm continuing to flush all three with 2g of straight well water with NPK Yucca Extract added, which I then ph to 6.5 @ 68℉, twice daily for a total of 4g each day. The two purple pheno's are just breathtaking in looks and their aroma's! The #2 plant is a beautiful cultivar as well, just not purple, with several huge cola's having formed due to her being topped! 12/7- Today at 'lights out' I placed all three Tropicana Cookies in the dark for 72hrs. I moved them to a dedicated room that is totally dark and which I can keep control of the temperature, humidity and air circulation (same room I use for drying). For the 72hr dark period I keep the temp's between 60-65℉ at a RH of 40-45% with decent air circulation. 12/11- Today, all three of the FastBuds Tropicana Cookies were released from 'Dark Jail'. I actually let them go an additional day, for a total of 96hrs in the dark, and from the looks of them it didn't hurt them one bit! All three look absolutely fantastic and the aroma coming off of them is just incredible! 🤪🔥 Every plant is heavily frosted up and all have tightly stacked, dense flowers. After chopping, I'm going to hang each of them whole to try to extend their drying time as much as possible. My dedicated 'Drying Room' has no outside light and is maintained at 58-60℉ with a RH of 50-60%. I use a de-humidifier, humidifier and two fans in the room. One fan is for air circulation, the other brings in cold outside air and the humidifier/de-humidifier handle the RH. I'm shooting for a 10-12 day dry, but that can always change because we all know 'shit happens'! 😁 My next diary entry will be after these fine ladies are done drying, get trimmed up, weighed and jarred.
