Week 8 | Godfather OG She's in flower. At 100cm and counting, the structure built over the past weeks is now paying off — bud sites have appeared at every node along the main stem and all lateral branches simultaneously, which is exactly what you want from an auto that's had enough time in veg to build a proper frame first. The main cola is already taking shape and the lower branches are following suit. The flip to flowering meant a full nutrient switch this week. CANNA Aqua Vega is out, replaced by CANNA Aqua Flores A+B at 3ml/l each. Plagron Green Sensation came in at 0.5ml/l — covering the PK demand, micronutrients, and biostimulant side of flowering in one product. CalMag Agent holding at 0.9ml/l, Aptus Regulator at 0.1ml/l. pH 6.2, EC 1.2 mS/cm. Watering doubled to 2L per plant per 24h as flower demand starts climbing. Conditions have settled into something close to ideal — 25°C day, 18°C night, 60% humidity. Light naturally dropping to 16h as the season progresses, which is pushing the trigger along nicely. What a week, So I did a run off test end of last week and they was really high, but I would like to address the DNA Mills cork as I am using this in just one pot (A) to try it out I used 3/4 (B) to my normal coco in another pot 50:50 (C) in another at a 1/4 (D) then when just my normal coco mix ( E) and I havent seen much difference other then the retention of water... UNTILL NOW. So evaluating all my reading I have from run off this is how it WAS sitting running water with an EC 0.7 Ms/cm A - 2.4 Ms/cm B - 2.3 Ms/cm C - 2.0 Ms/cm D - 1.9 Ms/cm E - 1.5 Ms/cm So my conclusion is that I dont like the cork maybe I'm using it wrong somehow I dont know but in my experience, it seems to be grabbing hold of all the salts and not letting go, so this week I ran litres and litres of water through them to bring them down I can only get A down to 1.4 Ms/cm and am struggling to get it any further down does anyone have any suggestions. As for the deficiency I was supposed to I produce the PK booster beginning of this week and couldn't with the run off being so high, well that's what I'm hoping anyways 😂. Plant A doesn't seem to be swelling like the rest (front left in pictures) I'm hoping this is down to genetics if anyone else has any thought I'd love to hear them. GMO (Garlic mushroom onion) was slow to flower but came on strong weeks 8 and 9 to produce some dense heavy sticky buds. The dry weight of the plant material is unsure, but I’ll report the weight of various bubble microns when dry. Pictures of the dry bubble and maybe a melt shot impending! To dry, I decided to microplane into pizza boxes lined with parchment. It’s been fun growing along with everyone on grow diaries. Awesome

Growth of 'only' 11cm this week 😅 Just over 8" Still she is growing very nice.

This week I noticed that there have been no new pollen balls to pluck. All the new growth/pre-flowers on the herms continue to look 100% female. I am hoping my experiment worked and they have been saved, but we'll see. They will stay secluded to be on the safe side. I transplanted everything into 5 Gallon buckets. I also purchased a new grow kit. It came with a 4(w)*8(L)*6(h) tent, intake fan/exhaust fan/ducting, and 3 LED lights. Two are 2000W and one is 1200W. Hope the babies like their new home! Any thoughts or suggestions for improvement please drop them in the comments!

Week 2 – Stretching the Limits The stretch hit much harder than expected this week. Because the canopy was already getting dangerously close to the light, a few of the tallest branches had to be supercropped. Some of the highest headbuds were also removed to prevent them from growing directly into the LEDs and bleaching later on. Hopefully, the vertical stretch will slow down soon and the plant will start focusing more of its energy on flower development. Apart from the height issue, everything is looking good. The upper canopy remains very green and healthy, and by the end of flowering week two, Crimson Clay is already showing some very promising early flower formation. Now the goal is to keep the canopy under control and let the remaining tops develop properly without further major intervention. Woche 2 – Der Stretch drückt Der Stretch fiel diese Woche deutlich stärker aus als erwartet. Da das Blätterdach bereits gefährlich nah an die Lampe kam, mussten einige der höchsten Triebe vorsichtig gesupercroppt werden. Zusätzlich wurden ein paar der höchsten Headbuds entfernt, damit sie später nicht direkt in die LEDs wachsen und ausbleichen. Hoffentlich lässt das weitere Höhenwachstum nun langsam nach und die Pflanze konzentriert ihre Energie zunehmend auf die Blütenentwicklung. Abgesehen vom Platzproblem sieht der Rest sehr gut aus. Das obere Blätterdach ist weiterhin kräftig grün und gesund, und bereits zum Ende der zweiten Blütewoche zeigt Crimson Clay wieder sehr schöne erste Blütenansätze. Jetzt geht es vor allem darum, die Höhe unter Kontrolle zu halten und die verbleibenden Tops ohne weitere größere Eingriffe sauber entwickeln zu lassen.

Super happy with everything so far, plants are growing fast and everything is going smoothly. I have all propped up a couple inches for better light penetration. Gonna need to take the humidifier out here soon so I can maximize all of the space for the plants. Haven't done any cutting, just some LST.

Week has had ups and downs🙃 Plants seem to be growing fine 🙂 But there is yellowing and spotting still that I cannot resolve.🙄 Day 22- Still having some kind of deficiency/issue. They are growing well, don't really seem to be stunted. I think I may have burnt them with nutes.🤧 Flushing may help. 🤷‍♂️😅 Run-off pH is at 6.08, PPM 266 I have flushed them, lowered feeding... I'm driving myself crazy. Hahaha Update 119 Day 23- Things are looking better. Low branches grow nicely after cut the apex and a little defoliation

We have some fasciation going on. Anyone ever experienced this before?

Beginning of week.. I went ahead and bumped the TDS to 1000 PPM this week. I don't think I'm going to go much higher than that. Usually don't have to.. Hopefully that's not too much.. I also started adding a bloom booster from Advanced Nutrients called Kushie Kush.. It works great for all strains tho lol. So the runoff is still acting up.. But it is getting better... Slowly. I emailed General Hydroponics on the issue a few days ago and they have not gotten back to me yet... Ugh. But going in: 1000 PPM.. Runoff: 700 PPM.. That was this morning.. Still have not given her plain water yet.. Just been feeding every watering.. Not really any signs of issues right now. A couple leaves are a little yellow (literally 2).. Another couple have some spots (maybe 4 or 5 leaves).. But other than that she is happy, healthy and smelling like a fucking champion! Seriously fucking delicious.. And to think the smell is supposed to warn off predators.. Hah! Good luck with that!!! Barely 8 days of flowering and she is already stacking so fucking nicely! I can't wait to see what kinda magic this gal is gonna do! So happy and excited!!! The light sits about 18 inches from the canopy right now at 100% power. She is still stretching a little but seems like she may be done with that pretty soon.. Maybe even before this week is over. Clones didn't make it.. I think it was too cold. They all sprouted roots but just stopped and they all yellowed out like a mf'r.. Looked like shit so I took them out back Ol' Yeller style and put them out of their misery 😭.. But it's ok.. The mama needs all the focus on her right now! Lol.. Oh yeah.. I went ahead and pulled a couple of the tallest branches down.. Just a tad.. Brought the ties up a node or so on each and pulled it tight.. Spread her out a little but I was nervous of snapping one off so I didnt try to push it too much.. These branches are tough af! Later that day.. General Hydroponics finally got back to me.. They said that I'm an idiot for using FloraKleen during transition like that.. Lol jk.. They did say that I should have NOT done that.. And that my runoff should ALWAYS be lower than it is going in due to the ppant taking up the nutrients.. But that just doesn't seem right to me.. Ive ALWAYS had my runoff higher.. Literally ALWAYS.. but without issues. They said that if the runoff PPM is higher, then there's a problem.. Maybe if I was doing frequent fertigation.. But I'm not.. And never will because that just sounds like a waste of nutrients.. But whatever.. Today I learned that FloraKleen is ONLY for pre-harveat flushing.. Or hydroponic reservoir cleaning in between nutrient changes.. But definately not the way I used it lol.. Thankfully she is still doing good 👍... Buuuut whoops lol Mid week.. Still doing magical things! Lol.. I didn't think she was gonna fill out this tent so nicely! Trichomes are forming nicely.. The purpling is looking amazing also! Some spots on SOME leaves.. But not alot.. Not sure what that is about.. No pests.. No deficiencies as far as I can tell.. Maybe just a mutation? Nothing to worry about tho.. This girl is so fucking gorgeous! I love it!.. Back to feed, water, feed, water, etc. schedule now.. I'm hoping that 1000 PPM isnt going to be too high for her.. But if it is, I will adjust accordingly. End of week.. Seems to me like the stretching has stopped.. So I'm going to cut out the FloraGro.. Double up on the FloraBloom and later into flower I will bump up the Kushie Kush Bloom Booster. She's doing great! Smells fucking amazing! I thought my ETHOS Early Lemon Berry R1 was gonna be the best strain ever.. Then I grew this girlie! Not just a lemony scent.. But like a very sweetened lemonade.. Incredible! Trichomes are EVERYWHERE! Such an awesome, beautiful strain! Good job FastBuds.. Can't wait to try more of your strains! Too bad you wont even acknowledge my grow journal like you do everyone elses..
