July 13: perfect cannabis weather after last week’s heat wave. Another heat wave next week, but for now it’s perfect. Added a third scrog layer and tied it off to some water bottles. This type of scrogging works, is easy, cheap, and it’s easy to still move the plant around the yard as needed. July 14: re-did the scrog net using a larger piece with more squares. Supercropped some ends to keep the growth tips at the same elevation. We’ll see how many colas I can make of this. July 16: looks happy enough but I need to up the water volume in this heat. July 18: really hot the last few days (33 C) so lots of watering and misting to keep them a bit cooler. Look really green and robust. 👍👍 Also wetting outside of grow bags to get some evaporative cooling for the soil. Added malted barley and Power Bloom to some soil and added it as a soil layer. Added plain soil on the top to deter birds from stealing the barley kernels. A bit less than 1 tbsp of Power Bloom per 1 gallon of soil with a bit more than 1 tbsp of malted barley per gallon of soil. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Despite being absolutely crowded out by the behemoth Pineapple Express next door this earthy pungent beautiful plant isn’t taking any crap. Her colas from top to bottom are rock hard and text book. I can’t wait until we get a chance to actually see what is behind plant number one!

Hello Diary. The third week of flowering is over, what I would comment on first this week is the scent. Fat Banana began to spread a wonderful fruity scent, like some fruity candy. 😋 So far on my small farm no strain has smelled like this at this stage of flowering. The plant is full of flowers and as you can see in the photos, they fill up nicely. 👍 Brownish spots have started to appear on some leaves, I will monitor the development and try to detect what the cause is. 😯 Watering is standard, I water the plants about every three days. Preventively for now I add CalMg and every other time I add BioBizz. I am preparing about 7 lit. water with which I water all three plants evenly. Here’s what he looked like all week. 02/11/2020 - Day 39. Watering. I added BioBizz and preventive CalMg. p.H. I adjusted to 6.5 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26.7 degrees and 42% humidity. 05/11/2020 - Day 42. Photographing and watering. This time I just regulated p.H. at 6.4 and I didn’t add anything else. Fat Banana really looks beautiful so I also took photos on a black background. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.6 degrees and 41% humidity. That’s all for this week, see you soon.

Start of week 3 of flowering. This Blue Dream girl is hungry! She's needing more feeding each week, now up to 6 liters per feeding. Bud sites are developing nicely, added B52 to the feed this week too.

DAY 28 flowering: Hi all Hope we are all fine and dandy in the grow diaries world this week. It has been a steady week this week with the ladies now focusing purely on bud site development . The only lady not really thriving is the smaller Mexican airline #1. It does seem she will be all plant and very little yield at this point but we will see it through. She isn't poor by any means but I do think she will have a inferiority complex within these beauties. Heehee Thankfully the other five ladies are powering on and producing some potential big bud sites. The stars of the grow are the Strawberry pie girls. These plants are huge and very, very productive . The lowers are developing some nice bud sites that in themselves look like beasts developing. They have really dense looking flowers that will no doubt become thick and possibly need some support on the side growth but seeing the stem strengths , they may be ahead of that issue themselves already. A perfect strain for an outside run for sure and with no training beside the tip spreading , they have easily now reached approx 4ft tall. The buds start really low on each limb with some node spacing initially large but the growing tips and main stem have a more stacked up bud appearance forming. I think they could possibly top my personal best for the autos at this rate. Both have about the same structure and bud building so I would hazard the same phenotype too. This is the second time I have grown this strain and the last one was very similar too. Very stable and should give some top notch nugs out. Six Shooter #1 is only slightly smaller than the Strawberry pie and has just as many productive side branches that want to show off too. Her sibling #2 was grown a lot flatter after the tip spreading and seems lost down low in the canopy now. She has a lot of buds tucked away but could easily be overgrown by the mexican#2 and Strawberry Pie #2 , if I am not pro active with her progress. As mentioned earlier, the Mexican airlines are both healthy and happy but the #2 is far more productive than the #1 . I do expect that the #1 will harvest a little after the others and that she may come through in the end. Overall these strains are genetic perfection this run . They have done their own thing with only the tip spreading being my intervention initially , and they have produced 6 perfect looking plants that are clearly different strains . From past experiences with these 3 strains , "The best is yet to come " with the development of their unique looking buds. Here comes some down and dirty bud porn only viewable to the faithful.!!! In the penultimate week, the buds are dense and hard, with a very pleasant sweet citrus scent. In these 15 days before harvest, I start watering only with RO water and a pH of 6.0 - 6.4. At the beginning of the last week, and around 3 days before harvest, I flush with RO + Cleanse 10mL.

This is the week right before the 24 hour dark period and switch to 12-12 looking very healthy

So this week I saw some decent bud development! There are a couple of colas with tips a little too close to the light, but they aren't getting super high PAR measurements so I think they're good. I added PK 13/14 this week, so I wanted to see some interesting changes. Not as much as I thought, but some flowers are noticeably much fatter than a few days ago. Had an issue with the top layer of my coco getting dry which I realised to be from the 15L dehumidifier I had in there, right next to my pot 😳 So that's now on full power in the room outside of the tent. The heat can be a bit of an issue, reaching 27-28c briefly some days. There's been a couple of fluctuations in the humidity, from 55% RH to 70%, so I've straightened the ducting and tried to perfect my ventilation and environment as much as possible. I'm debating buying a co2 bag to help my plant deal with the heat and intense light. The trichomes are really starting to show, with the 60x magnifier I can see so many cool heads. It just seems that my buds aren't really filling out beneath the pistils, causing me to worry. This week there were so many photos that even after picking out my favourites I ended up with 111 of them! Also, it's worth noting that the nutrient amounts I have listed are in *ml/1.5l.
