~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2202 girls and they're on a roll! The #1 tester has developed some discoloration on her leaf tips which tells me she's a bit sensitive to my amendment concentrations so remember to go very light on the nutrients when you start out! I'll keep an eye on her but really am not too concerned at this time. When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and I'm thinking over topping them in the next day or so. 12/21- Well, yesterday I went ahead and topped the #2 Tester #2202 taking off the 5th leaf set. Hopefully she won't stress out over this and starts shooting out those secondary branches. I left the #1 alone as she's not quite as vigorous as the #2. I may not top the #1 as a sort of comparison to see how each grows out. Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and they should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! I have seen significant growth this week. Looking good and smelling great!

This first week was setup preparation for grow an finally planting seeds in soil. I have had a lot of success with pre-soaking seeds in 50/50 hydrogen peroxide distilled water for 24 hours. Then planting directly in soil in the size pot they are staying in due to autos not liking transplant. Seeds were soaked for 24 hours and planted 1/4 inch deep in Fox Farms Happy Frog Top dressed with Ocean Forest in 5 gallon Fabric Dirt Pots I left them in the dark for 3 days then turned lights on 18/6 cycle five days later plants are starting to pop up Gorilla glue and Grapefruit are the first to start. Day 6 all seeds but one grapefruit germinated I expect by end of day today or tomorrow it will pop up started spraying seedlings with liquid seaweed diluted in a spray bottle. Trying to get more light having shipping trouble. Last grapefruit finally popped up day 7.

This week are repotted the plants and will move the four in BAC lava soil up to my Dr120 this week. I have just cleaned it and like to leave it empty for a week , move the food source for any bugs. They have just had water this week and are bouncing back from being topped. The two in dwc are staying in this tent.

This means that whatever the temperature is, the air feels like it, not 10-15 degrees hotter. My Purple Hulk Auto is my tallest lady and has good node spacing so there is space for air flow. I removed all the larfy buds on the lower limbs. The developing buds are showing purple. Looking at the bud structure, the leaves are tight throughout. This may be a concern for bud rot if the rain and humidity return. I’ll keep a close watch, but so far, she is easy to grow and resistant to fungus and pests. Week 2 Flower At the beginning of the week they were lollipopped. I left one small branch on a couple of them until their clones had rooted (just incase they failed). As soon as their clones showed roots I cut the emergency clones off the plants. Lollipopping is a great way to slow down their stretch, and is also a great way to bring the humidity down in the tent and get some nice airflow inside and around the plants. If left, they'll grow fluffy pathetic, worthless buds that will only waste energy that would otherwise go into the nice fat top buds and mid canopy buds. The next day pheno's 1, 2 and 3 all showed us their sex, as you can see they are all females! Only a few days later #4 showed us her pistils too! Amazingly we have 4/4 females! It's gonna be a great pheno hunt with all four being left to flower. Remo grow was stopped being fed by the end of the week and silicon was reduced. Remo Bloom and Astro Flower were increased at the end of the week now they're towards the end of their transition. A small amount of nature's candy is being fed for better nutrient uptake, but isn't needed in larger amounts until we see frost, the same goes for molasses. They're all looking very healthy on Remo's Nutrients so far. They were given a leaf strip on Day 13 as they seem to be stretching pretty well and will continue to through week 3. Os dejo las dos recetas que he realizado pero que son mérito de @deFharo Té de Hummus Ingredientes: - 250 g Humus de lombriz - 1 litro de agua (osmosis o grifo reposada) - 2,5 g de hidróxido de potasio Pasos - Mezclar el agua y el humus de lombriz - Disolver el Hidróxido de Potasio en un poco de agua y lo añades al anterior - Revolver o agitar varias veces - Esperar mínimo 24 horas (mejor 3 días) Humato PK (Muy bueno para floración) - 125 gr de leonardita ó 250 g Humus de lombriz (yo he usado Hummus) - 1 litro de agua (osmosis o grifo reposada) - 25 g de hidróxido de potasio - 25 g de harina de huesos o roca fosfórico (yo he usado harina de huesos) Pasos - Disolver el Hidróxido de Potasio en 500 ml de agua - Añadir la leonardita (o hummus) y remover - Añadir harina de huesos o roca fosfórica al anterior - Revolver o agitar varias veces - A las 24 horas añadir el resto del agua (500 ml) a 40 - 50 ºC - Revolver varias veces al día durante al menos 3 días (alargarlo hasta 6-7 días si no hay prisa)

Good week for this lovely lady. Her color has improved immensely and she's almost caught up in size to the Blueberry. Since they're settled in I took away the support hoops and will pack up the row cover. Yet again I think it did a fabulous job reducing stress from transplanting. I also added in some Calendula plants yesterday afternoon as they make good companions. It's gonna be a straight up partay in this garden bed😜 Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutal😵 I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

Day 29, Too many bugs! Mini grasshoppers and one of those leaf tunneling bugs, as well as a respiratory bug within myself! I’ve taken care of the bug inside myself, now time for the Diatomaceous Earth!!!! And to get that bug out of that leaf! Still feeding a little cal mag. I think it’s necessary. Day 31 - Day 1F Going to ramp it up from 1mg to 3mg per Gal of CalMag OAC. I will top dress something special, maybe the mother earth acid mix, or maybe I will do a seabird guano with insect frass and top it off with an Epsom Salt solution feed. I’m trying to practice using less of a branded store-bought approach. But to source everything is so much easier out of a store bought package, so for now, I might just do a small amount of seabird and insect frass, maybe just a super small sprinkle on the soil surface, not in water. Day 5 of flower: and WTF is up with this foul weather. Only 46 degrees Fahrenheit! (7.8 C) Cloudy with 15-20 mph winds. Gonna drop to 29 tonight… this is ridiculous. I don’t have access to the tent at this time, so it’s cold weather today. I could bring her inside where it’s warmer, and there is no light! Or those house lights put out only a few candelas worth, not exactly light for a plant. Do she would just stretch and go hungry inside. I’m leaving her outside. Bringing her in over night obviously! But not much growth is expected. Just gotta roll with the punches. I thought we were flowering this week, but barely small preflower development. So this is switched back to a Veg week.
