Now that the plant has started flowering, I defoliated the excess leaf, focusing on apical buds. But unfortunately after defoliation and pressing the lst unfortunately plant b5 breaks the stem in its main apical bud. I was very sad but in life we have to learn from mistakes and stop complaining since the other 4 plants show good growth and vigor we will move on trying to minimize the errors.

Would love to give nute measurements but in my situation, using dry. Here we are, in our forever home in the middle of my city buried deep in plain site. Week 4, May 2 to 8/20**********Days 22 to 28 from germination********* Fighting pH with numbers of 7.1 still coming out after putting in 4.5 for days and never given over 6.1 from the start?? Its time to rule out the damn pots as the issue because there is simply nothing else left......coco with perlite flushed from the start.....feed never over 6.1?????? How is run off staying so high even after several waterings of 4.5pH. They are only three weeks when this issue became apparent. I had cut slits in the bottom of the pots to aid in further drainage???? I transplanted the Fast Buds girls into 3 gal plastic pots. They are fighting the pH issues more than the other girls and will I pick on the weaker ones.......unfortunately its these ones. Plus since GSC is a longer running strain In this grow I figured these girls may have the most time to make up from any shock. GSC went well and she came out of the fabric pot well and into the new one. They were both exactly 10” across so I cut the whole fabric pot in half with razor knife while holding together. First girl fell right down in and went okay!!!! Cool👍👍👍 GSC2 on the other hand had more of an F U attitude about it all😡 Followed the same process but she didn’t’ come right apart nicely like the first one. She fought one side of the pot and in hind sight I should have cut a plus symbol or star pattern in the bottom of the pot rather than just the one slice.......It wouldn’t give right on the bottom of the pot on one side. When it finally did the roots came up from the bottom and she was flipped inside the medium..........basically worst case scenario 🤬🤬🤬 So what can you do.......you show her some extra love❤️ and talk softly to her😚 and promise to make her healthy👊 and strong💪 and never to hurt her agian😍😍🤞 Little more detail......... May 2/20 - Day 22 - 2L feed for each girl with CalMag @ 0.5ml, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 625ppm and 5.0pH - runoff numbers: - GSC 590ppm with 7.3pH - GSC2 580ppm with 7.2pH - why so high damn it?? So I've chosen my final 6! 4 are 7 days old and the other 2 are 6 days old! A little slower in growth for some but I put that down to me having them in coco to start and I'm inexperienced with coco and as soon as I switched them to soil they perked right up so I'll stick to what I know and use soil starter plugs or soil or even root cubes have done me justice in the past, I run my diffuser twice a day to maintain my 60-70% avg RH I started at 25% power on the light at 10" and slowly increasing the power to 50% at 10" above canopy! As I'm using co2 im able to put the light closer and raise the temps! I was using a heat matt but honest opinion I think they're a Hazzard in some way and not necessarily necessary! Just my opinion as I came across problems with the substrate being too dry sometimes! But I will keep them in these pots for about another 3-5 days and then transfer them into a bigger but not final pot for an avg of 2-3 weeks! Can't wait to be at the end of may! Hey Growmies, been on day 29. the Champions line is pure fun to watch. The mendo guava stretched already completely in the last week. Near on the height of the strawberry which is one week older. Did only some Daily leaf tucking. Watered till drain. Very smooth run.

Missed couple weeks of updating. Apologies. K. Had to move the lady back under my homemade lights. The store bought just kept her trying to bunch up. Needed light through, didn't want to defoliate too much and she resisted opening up. She would actually straighten out the wire reaching for the SB. Sooo, I spread my homemade apart more. I put her back under my direct wire, switchable lights, 5 settings from 2700k-5000k, 6 t8 tubes, 1800 lumens each. Gave her a couple days. She opened right up for me. The SB light high intensity, she was bushy, even after opening up, so at week 3, under homemade, she got some defoliation. Learning more about light. I kept a minimal distance from top, center cola, to reduce it's stretch and allowed the trained limbs to catch up to it. Now @12" from center cola, about 16" from rest of plant and light covers the entire plant. Using 1000w for her babies (clones.) They like it. Using soil. And reading more. Prolly didn't need all the nutes I was giving. Doing well on 1nce weekly fish fertilizer and once weekly Gen Hydro Flora Series mixed for flower. The rest is ph'ed water. Ozarka got expensive. Tried GV spring water. Has near 300 ppm, Ozarka <30. GV pH near and sometimes 10+. Ozarka 8.3 max. GV needs more pH down and it will rise again. I pH let set, then pH again. Pretty sure it's mostly calcium, since it's source is heavy with limestone. Calcium also appears to be a buffer. Ozaka's 8.3 mostly from the calcium, but ph's easily and holds well. Mixing = parts can get a ppm of 160 and pH of 8.7-9. then pH down. Saves a little money and some extra calcium. K done for the week. Bye, y'all.
