Day 35: Well switched over this week to my bloom nutes. My previous watering I had mentioned I used SledgeHammer just to wash out the residues from my grow nutes. She actually seemed to take that well and watered her today to kick off week 5. Really starting to have her own smell and its already smelling awesome. Can't wait to see this lady start to pick up some weight. 🙌 Day 38: This lady is just stacking up man and the most beautiful colors are shining thru def gonna be a low yield but for me the quality is always better than quantity 👌 ✨

10 weeks from seed to harvest. The nutrient line I was using didn’t give me optimal growth, for this strain and my level of experience. Had some great growth and veg time, about 4 weeks, but when flower kicked in they got beastly. I would say I had two different phenos of this strain, and the one pheno that is unique, had slightly looser buds than the other two. This could be because of the LST/super cropping of the main cola. The other two had nice rock hard frosty buds and have similar smells and profile. The other one has more citrus, and was a bit lanky, more sativa in looks. Overall, easy enough to grow, no major surprises, and decent enough yield for 10 weeks. This is a strain that could have been better had I not had some issues with either lockout/deficiencies.

UPDATE: 1-29-18 The GSC are definitely AUTOS. Just added a new fan. Bought a Spectrum King 140W and just moved it in as it's going to be my main FLOWER light.

02/03/2022 Bottom deposit has dropped 3 to 4 liters, again. pH was up to 6.2 and EC has dropped to 1.5 (I guess they consume well the nutrients, if it was only evaporation EC should rise). I decide to wait tomorrow to refill and adjust, pH will rise probably to 6.4. I have now some doubts on the remaining space to rise up the light and defoliation of the bottom of the plant. 28/02/2022 Back from WE, everything fine, good smell already. Bottom deposit dropped 4L, pH up to 6.3 Ec dropped to 1.35. I just lowered the pH to 5.8 and tomorrow I fill again the bottom tank and adjust nutrients to 1.7 again. 26/02/22 Tank filled. Adapt nutrients solution to 1.7 EC then wait 24h, bottom solution dropped to 1.5 EC, set pH to 5.8. Will leave for 2 days and not attended... so that would be surprise to see Monday night how pH and EC have evolved!

Man, it's been a crazy week. These past few days have been brutal – seriously cold with this crazy humidity. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the chills and the way my skin feels all sticky. It's been a struggle, but I'm finally getting on top of things. I think I've figured out a good routine to dry things out around here, so hopefully, I'll be feeling a lot more comfortable soon. My three Bubble OG plants are looking awesome. Two of them are super tall, and it's gonna be crazy when they're done. I can already tell they're going to have huge buds. The little one might be short, but it's so dense, it looks like it's just stacked with buds all the way down.

Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. This time we are faced with an absolute novelty from Zamnesia, a plant from the latest generation of an immense series that Zamnesia is bringing out, ready to try them all. Here we have excellent parents, the primette result is great, let's also try the Karen Kush. I was amazed by the perfect branding for this strain and so let it be Karen. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. N deficiency but it’s ok

Roughly at about 4.5 week I have turned the lights to 12/12 most of the flowers have shown sex with roughly about 60% being females, not a bad % of females, could have been a lot worse. The ICC’s are a bit stretchy & the cookies are quite squat and the bubblegum & black nitro’s are average size for the age.

Day 46 - Lollipopped all three pearls, I will now wait a week and then send them into flower. Everything is going pretty well with these Ladies.

I have topped one of the 5 phenos because this plants looks like they had a few more days of growth before flowering and wanted to get more colas, they are developing awesome one pheno ended up too small but it will definitely give something, let's see how this beautiful ladies keep developing

I really like all three pheno..I was have some problem because I was use a new led light for the first time.. But in the end of the day I'm very Happy, really happy for the result.. For the bloom I setting the timer at 12/12 light cycle.. Not 18 or 20.. And in the end they gives me some nice looking flowers.. Very stycky too.. The plants was easy to grow..i cut only the first two branches in close to the end of week four.. Anyway.. I have described exactly what happened every week if you want to learn more .. But nothing to special growing cycle.. Nice smell nice taste and nice effects, all bilancaded for me.. Sweet, candies, earthy and somntingh else.. I try it with two vaporizers and I like it(use mighty /ghost mv1) I do not talk a lot about the effect because it is subjective, and in any case I think is a quiet cannabis that can be used all day.. Even with regard to the flavor, it is always difficult to grasp the characteristic features, apart from some super obvious ones .. I speak for me of course.. Trichomes are slowly coming

Once again, this week starts where the former one ended. With the exception of all the cables you can see in the first picture. I dared to install a minimalized version of the Raspi control only controlling the self-built humidifier and one blower/fan combination. I was very pleased to see how easily the simple diffusor can hold optimum VPD as long as temperatures are high and humidity tends to fall below optimum VPD. A single 10 seconds evaporation can hold the level for about 2–3 minutes. I am not pleased to see the Monsanto blowers rather underperform. It’s impossible to reduce humidity or temperature with both running on full speed, while a lifting of the tent door will bring immediate changes. With the Raspi/Arduino success so far*, I am thinking about using old Power Mac fans which are WCM controllable and use 12 V. At least one to increase air intake, and maybe even the blowers. * It wasn’t any problem at all to have the Arduino collect CO2 and soil moisture data, so after some more cable manufacturing (aka helpless soldering), I could extend the Raspi control. I’m still uncertain about the camera module (@trelorny impressed me with his time lapse videos). I don’t want to put the hardware into the tent with its not so electronics friendly climate, already risking some rare outages of the temp/hum sensor. But the camera module cannot be placed far away. So maybe I’ll use the 3A model I own as a spare part as a camera driver. Any maybe, if it works, invest in a better camera module. Mine is generation 1. Oh, and the ladies! Gave them slightly fertilised water yesterday, and even it or the better VPD yesterday or a combination of both make me believe bud growth is a bit more visible today. The smell in the morning when I open the tent to release accumulated humidity is outstanding. They were already thirsty on day 57 again, so pure RO + a bit of tap water until it spilled out of their pot’s bottoms. Many fan leaves turning autumnally now, and the smallest Sherbet suffered a bit from over-fertilisation as I wrote. But it this stage I don’t go for leaf beauty anymore. Just another learning: Don’t use differently sized pots anymore. Hard to feed them individually this way. VPD was mostly in best range yesterday, and I have the feeling it really supports their bud growth. I added an "Evening time" option to my Raspi control that allows the humidity to sink a selected time before lights shut down. That made it possible to have humidity in best range for most of the night time too. They were even dry again on day 58 morning. Another time just water. The blowers cannot cope with the flowers’ smell anymore, and so sometimes my flat cannot hide who shares it with me. Day 60 presents me with a problem: I’ll leave on Friday for a few days. Considering the microscope pictures are not from the tops buds: Would you say it’s safe to give them another week? Problem solved on day 61. Only clean water from now on, and next week will be their last. You won’t see any new pictures for some days now. Me too … Something I wanted to share with you before I leave: I just finished to update my grow box control with a new PWM fan hat that keeps the Raspi cool, while at the same an infrared sensor can now measure real leaf and additional ambient temperature. Setup is much cleaner and more robust now, but I wish my flux would not make the solder stick to the tip of the machine instead of making it flow and stick at the tiny tiny spots I have to hit …

They've grown leaves and i started using nutes today. Day 15 from seed to now. They are both wilting for some reason. I watered less frequently because of the Fongus gnats. and now i watered 500ml to each pot11L. I dont have a run off but i don't know if its necessary. I also added cinnamon at the top soil cause i read it helps with eliminating gnats.
