July 6: peak growing season now and I expect she’ll be growing about an inch per day here for the next couple of weeks. Weather should be perfect and just have to dodge the thunderstorms. Started another lazy compost tea. Cheers to all growers. 👍 July 7: mild defoliation done over this last week to let light in to the growth tips. Water only as a light flush. July 8: definitely fast growth and looking very dark green but hopefully not too much N. Watered in evening with lazy compost tea. This lazy compost tea is just a 5 gallon (20 L pail) with couple handfuls of mature compost, some molasses, some humic acids and kelp, Dr Bronners peppermint soap as a surfactant (or wetting agent) and vinegar to get pH near 7. Then it’s all left in the shade for about 24-48 hours with the occasional stir. Alternately you could just use Recharge which is made from bacteria, molasses and humic acids. Super easy either way. July 10: added a couple handfuls of malted barley as a top dressing. This is a top organic growing tip from Clackamas Coot. Just get some from a local brew shop which should have a variety of malted grains. Cheap stuff is fine. I’ll add some Power Bloom next week but I figured the barley is good enough for now. Now 25 inches so she grew 6 inches in 4 days. Good times. Good times.

This week I did a final bit of defoliation just to channel the energy to the buds. I upped the EC to 2.1. I got a well priced pkm boost powder from my local hydro shop, wich I added to get the EC levels a bit higher. I will start flushing at the end of this week with a flushing solution. I have also been making use of a dehumidifier to reach optimal RH.

This little lady is doing ok so far. taking to her training ok and starting to add some girth. She is a little untidy at the moment but as I get to stretch her out a little , she should tidy up too. She is still behind the others burnt her height will soon catch them. I will flip them in the ext week I hope it she would definitely benefit from a longer veg time as the others had. She is a work in progress at present and the guide for the other seeds I have of this X.

Ola 🙂... the two sisters grow up very well ... first time I try them.. the seeds were given to me by the boy from the grow shop, after buy some Barney's seeds .. With them, under the 205 BD LED light, there is also the sister, who can actually find in the diary SUPER SOIL LED (if you want to see the differences) 😉... 5th week started by giving him a nice lunch based on banana macerate (10 days to macerate), about 0.5 in 1.5l h2o .. pH I never check it when I am using a ready-made soil .. the water I use is quite good and does not contain chlorine (fundamental in organic) .. it has a pH always around 6.5 / 7.5 and is ok ... afterwards I only gave h2o to drink for once, again without letting it come out of the bottom of the vase .. two days after treacle-based sweet like the past week .. this time I gave 1 teaspoon apiece (they will be about 5ml, I think, but that's okay) in 1.5l h2o ... time after still water .. and today, Friday 27th, I finely chopped a bit of barley malt and I made a top dressing, wetting with water in mix with 3ml topmax for 3l h2o, to increase the malt action .. I see just one or two thrips every now and then, but I'm under control .. I have not used anything to drive them out .. only the fan always on and the humidity left slightly higher ... They start to smell good and very sticky too .. I don't know how to describe the aroma at the moment .. sweet .. but complex .. we'll see .. hi, thanks for the time 🙏 and tell me if you like it ... The Future #1 strain took to germination right away, was very flexible, and worked very good for SCROG. It produced heavy buds that are beautiful. Teh strain started very strong and grew excellent. The flowers was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. I had some pH issues with my water supply which impacted the grow and this strain seemed to be more light sensitive compared to another Anesia strain right next to it. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of this plant were HUGE!!!! Wet weight - 58.8 oz prior to trim; 14 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Amber - 30% After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. Dry weights into jars: Future #1: 9.06oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked (+70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In: 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

She's done!!!!!! Plenty of amber trichomes!!! She will be harvested within 24h.

This week started out with some yellowing on the GMO, which had grown incredibly quickly and was much taller than the other 2. Acapulco Gold was the shortest of the 3, but had grown with very short internodial spacing. I wanted to move the Sour Strawberry over as soon as possible, but it grew a bit slowly, maybe I overwatered it a bit. In an attempt to counteract the yellowing on the GMO, I decided to try out the AutoPots. Was that a good idea at this point? I don't know, but I had to try them out eventually. After turning it on, the plants started degrading quickly. I don't know what exactly caused the issue, my best guess is it's a pH issue. But this is where it started going downhill for me, especially since I was still trying to get the 4th one going in the first place. I quickly turned off the AutoPots again and went back to hand watering, also while trying to find the issue, I left out much of the things I had added to the AutoPot tank.

The flowering now really has kicked in and the first trichomes are appearing all around the flower crowns. The plants start to exude an intoxicating sweet smell...I LOVE IT! All plants grow VERY HEALTHY thanks to the BIO-TABs nutrients. They love the intensity and spectrum of the SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lamps, which is specifically designed for cannabis plants. They are the BEST LED GROW-LIGHTS I have EVER USED!
