After week 16 of this grow my 'Fruity Terps'-plants are ready to harvest. I check the trichome-heads with a handheld-microscope (magnification of 150, available in every growshop) and see that all have turned milky and some start to turn amber already. That means PEAK-THC (=all trichome-heads have turned milky) has been reached inside the trichome and it is time to harvest. If I would let them go longer now and continue to flower them, more of the trichome heads will turn amber as the THC breaks down again to other cannabinoids, and the effect of the cannabis will get more sedative when smoked. For some chronic pain patients this is what they want from their medicine, therefore it is advisable for them to let the weed flower than recommended. The aroma coming out of the tent is STRONG and DELICIOUSLY FRUITY! 😍 The fade from the flush has turned the bigger fan-leaves yellow or purple now, this shows the plant is using her own sugars now and has used up all nutrients saved inside her. That is exactly what I want, since a well flushed plant ensures a clean, smooth smoke when the buds are dried. This is my MEDICINE and I use it against my chranic back-pain from hernia, therefore I have to make sure I can consume my medicine as pure and clean as possible. All my plants have grown big buds, which are glistening with TRICHOMES, the SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs did an OUTSTANDING JOB! My F-MILF (NL untopped) is going to eat my tent She is not soaking 5 l (nutrified)per day...she drinks it with open mouth. Not a single drop drain Getting this: Aptus Topbooster 4 drops/l Aptus P-boost 10 drops/l Aptus regulator 3 drops/l Aptus All in one 0.6 ml/l Aptus CaMg 0.6 ml/l Trying to keep ph not lower than 6.4... Harvested at F49. I like this strain but i will not grow it again. For me, it was a hype strain.

OMG when you touch her she REALLY smells of grapefruit!! Sour citrus! Amazing! I'm probably secretly most excited for her harvest. She grew 11 cm too! I've not done a thing to her apart from feed/water and turn her pot 180 degrees through the week.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

I over water this past week but got back on track ,it took about 2 day for her to come back around,, but a great week

Growth is exploding, nodes are coming in hot! .happy with the progress so far. These girls will fill out nicely .

Grow is coming along well, though the Black Devil is still lagging behind IMO. I think the strain maybe isn't too impressed with being Main-Lined? Either way she's hungry so I gave her some bokashi, clover leaf trim and worm castings. Next week is main dry amendment feeding so the girls will get everything they need. Couple more weeks and the Northern light should make it's way around the entire pot, then if it's tall enough, I'm putting them into flower. Some weird shit on the microscope today; videos above.
