Busy week for sure. At the start of the week I started seeing the trichomes develop round heads as they were maturing. It's been very cool to see the difference in them every day. I had some trouble at the start of the week getting the ATS300 angled correctly because of my Dad's cowboy setup, but it definitely worked for a while and I'm grateful. Luckily, we managed to get an AC Infinity 642 ordered and got her in there ASAP. The tent is 72 inches tall, and it's only supposed to be 60! That gave me some extra room above my canopy for the light/exhaust etc. and actually saved me a bit to be honest. Although this was started as a 2x2 grow and I had no intention of straying from that, my plant became such a beast that I did all of this to be safe. My second grow will be a lot more organised! I installed an upper trellis a couple of days after putting the 642 up. Again, I became a bit disorganized with training (for example, I took my LST ties off too early, removed my lower scrog net when I took her out of the 2x2, and I focused a bit more on defoliation). This net will pretty much be for support only, but it will definitely help even out the canopy. The trichomes, again, are looking great as I hope the pics show. Just anxious I defoliated too much as a novice because I don't want my buds to grow slowly. I also had an issue with high heat (28-30C) for the first couple days in the 642 while I was sorting the ventilation and placement of the dehumidifier. Now it's sorted. I uploaded longer vids this time for the Vlogs, you don't have to watch em they're there for ya if you're interested :) ~Update~ To start off the girls look great, I'm excited that I'm back where I was when my "First Grow" failed. What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. day 64 buds are getting fatter and really moving taller. will take a while to finish no doubt.. lots of new calyx growth and pistils. i came to conclusion i was letting the plants get too dry before a top up.. trying to keep more moist. let the boost and rhizo get to work and keep the soil niiice. doubtful this notthern lights is gonna fade much.. after having cut a branch for a vase, afyer a week its still a dsrk mint green with no fade. compared to my bb which faded completly... looks super healthy if not a little too much nitrogen... not seeing too much N curl in buds which im happy about.

Noticed thst the temperature inside the tent was not dropping as expected. Especially after the colder night temperature ive been seeing. Also the upper canopy has fox tailed. I was on vacation for 2 weeks before noticing this. So hopefully there csn be some recovery on the denseness of the nugs.

Purple Punch am 26.12.2024 Tag 49 / 14.02.2025 Meine Purple Punch steht schon in der 7 Woche, ein großer Erfolg für mich. Habe mit Bio Bloom und Bio Grow in der letzte Woche sie gedüngt, das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen. Heute, wird Acti Vera, Alg A Mic und Bio Heaven in das Gießwasser hinzu gegeben. Feedback: Ich bin überaus voll zufrieden wie meine Pflanze sich entwickelt hat, ich denke die gute Erde und der Dünger von Biobizz hat ein großen Teil beigetragen. Ich werde mal schauen wie die Pflanze in der 8 Woche aussieht. Ich nehme gerne Ratschläge von der Community an.

Day 36. One girl is shooting the sky other still have that unhealthy look, made my mind - its genetics and i can't do anything. Girls got second feed, looks happy and hopefully will bring some nice flowers. Took some leaves down, spread a bit, but most of work will be done next week, if i will dare ;))) Last time used Root Juice, added Acti-Vera, increased Bloom and Heaven. Day 40. After last feed, girls got small rusty spots on 4-5 leaves total, cut out cal mag for couple weeks. Heavy training, its always tricky to decide what to do with Autos and i have almost no knowledge, but i have SPA Queen and Midget aka Margaret ;))) both different, but bushy, had to clear Midget really heavily and still loads future airbuds left, but maybe ... ;))) Girls drink 3 liters every day, highest rate ever, but i relate it to most powerfull exhaust ever. Some leaves on both plants got strange mutation, like leaf tries to branch out ... Never seen anything like this. But by height i presume it happend on first feed, late Root Juice aftermath ? For the last day of the year we treat ourselves to the story of a special little girl. Her name is Biscotti, her name already says it all about the potential of this young girl born in Holland with this beautiful Italian Strain Name, she is precious and full of style since conception. She looks like she was designed by Pininfarina who smokes joints. It's a bit as if Gianni Versace had dressed her, extravagant, provocative, truly flamboyant, if you have the patience to look at the thousand photos that I made clear that I literally couldn't stop taking. It's a journey I don't want to leave, especially when I'm in the middle of it. terpenes, please leave me there! She grew up quietly, with her small internodal distance you could see that she was beautiful even without flowers, but it was when she flowered that she truly gave her best. Already from the first weeks of flowering you can understand very very well that the girl has a bright color and she threw resin very early thanks to Power Buds, Sugar Royal and Green Sensation in my opinion. The flowers have an imposing shape, they really are beautiful little purple beasts just in the dry room, for a few days soon we will do an initial test and then we will wait to taste it without too much fresh taste. I’m about sure to have rated 10 stars the strain and all feeding 5 stars but i found the strain rated 9 stars and the feeding 4, not sure but almost sure. I often get sad when I cut it, I'm too sad to cut it, I always think I'll smoke it and everything, but it's so beautiful that it makes my heart ache to cut it. It's her life cycle, otherwise she would rot for goodness sake, it's a joke but I really have a moment of shock in her heart. She'll move on to the first vaporized one I guess. Technique used - She was worked with a. single topping cut but leaving the two branches lower than the cut, thus obtaining 4 main branches with the relative branches. I also did a bit of LST at the beginning but having space problems then I decided not to let it expand too much. Flowers are beautiful beasts for truly yummi. Fertilizers - We have to make a special mention of Plagron I wrote a review in this diary which only partially explains how good this line of fertilizers is. I feel like I saw with my own eyes the changes in the plants when I gave the additives, I really saw the plants push in resin and everything. For more information read the review, I don't like to be repetitive, I don't write the quantities, they are also in the diary and in any case very similar to those recommended by the manufacturer. Never exceed this with any fertilizer and always flush. Light and home - The light was provided by MarsHydro and the home as well, it is the SP 3000, a piece that is not of the latest generation but which I love for its length of around 110 cm which you can understand how it covers me super well, the 120 wide wide grow room cm, 60cm deep and 180cm high, always supplied by them with a better than average covering by a lot and fantastic windows from which to spy on the girls. So Gorilla Cookies is doing okay. She got topped today. She is looking pretty healthy. I think the HPLVD I had been battling got to all my other plants again. This one should be clean due to its isolation. Plus I have always taken care of this one before anything else. So there should be no issue. I am running the G3000 light at 30 percent. These are doing awesome! We have had a little bit of a change in the weather in the last week, the nights have gotten nice and cool, and the days are still quite warm. We have also had a few showers this week which they seem to have loved. We are at about 13.5 hours of sunlight a day, and cute little buds are forming quickly. These smell peppery, sharp and sweet. One of these babes has reached 7 ft from the ground; the others are between 6.5 and 7 ft aswell. We heavily defoliated these giants today. These ladies continue to impress me as we move slowly toward the autumn equinox; and into the harvest season 🌾

26.04. Day 90 Day 50 of flower, and the tent is an absolute showpiece. The buds are looking ripe, dense, and coated in a thick layer of frost – a true visual treat. Even the plants that struggled earlier have pulled through and are now showcasing stunning, resin-drenched flowers. The overall canopy is shining, and every plant tells its own little success story. [ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.
